Rory McIlroy has filed for divorce from his wife of seven years, Erica Stoll.

According to a new report from TMZ, Rory filed papers in his adopted home state of Florida earlier this week.

The cause of the split is currently unknown.

But given the extent to which the news has taken the sports world by storm, you can be sure that there will be further updates very soon.

The pair hit it off immediately, but for years, their relationship was strictly platonic.

It was only after Rory ended his engagement to Caroline Wozniacki that he and Erica took things to the next level.

With all that combined, that would put him at a whopping $142.8 million to play through 2027! If true, this would make him the highest paid tight end in the league!

Remarks made by New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers regarding the HIV crisis of the 1980s are generating a tremendous amount of controversy this week.

The controversial QB has long had a reputation for espousing bizarre and potentially harmful conspiracy theories.

For example, Rodgers’ skepticism regarding Covid-19 vaccines made him a divisive figure among football fans during the pandemic.

But the news that Rodgers may be a Sandy Hook truther earned him near-universal condemnation.

Now, the 40-year-old NFL vet finds himself at the center of yet another unexpected controversy.

Aaron Rodgers Shares Controversial Views on HIV Crisis

In March, Rodgers appeared on the “Look Into It with Eddie Bravo” podcast in March, where he shared his belief that the HIV epidemic of the 1980s was engineered by the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases with the assistance of the federal government.

“The blueprint, the game plan, was made in the ’80s,” Rodgers said, according to Newsweek.

“Create a pandemic, you know, with a virus that’s going wild, right?” he continued.

“Only—he was given, Fauci was given over $350 million to research this, to come up with drugs, new or repurposed to handle the AIDS pandemic. And all they came up with AZ—was AZT.”

Rodgers’ remarks went mostly unnoticed at the time, but they resurfaced on Twitter this week, and a clip of the quarterback sharing his views on Dr. Anthony Fauci has now been viewed more than 5 million times.

“And if you do even a smidge of research — and I know, I’m not an epidemiologist, I’m not a doctor, I’m not an immunologist, whatever the f–k — I can read, though,” Rodgers said during the podcast.

“And I can learn and look things up just like any normal person, you know. I can do my own research, which is so vilified, to even question authority,” he added.

“But that was the game plan back then: create an environment where only one thing works. Back then, AZT. Now? Remdesivir until we get a vaccine,”

Remdesivir is a drug that has been shown to halt the progression of the Covid virus inside the body.

From there, Rodgers alleged that Fauci had a “stake in the Moderna vaccine,” though he offered no evidence that the medical expert in any way benefitted financially from the vaccine.

As Newsweek reports, social media users were quick to shut down Rodgers’ latest conspiracy theories.

“Can someone please take Aaron Rodgers home and make him stay inside until his head is fixed?” one person asked.

“Just a reminder, Dr Fauci is a hero. Aaron Rodgers is a clown,” said another.

“Aaron Rodgers is the worst type of idiot—the one who’s convinced he’s a genius,” a third user wrote.

“Please keep Aaron Rodgers & his weird conspiracy theories off of my timeline. Dude has choked on one too many shrooms dipped in acid,” a fourth chimed in.

But Rodgers also received support from many commenters who shared his views.

“People are finally speaking out,” one person wrote.

“In 3-5yrs everything Rodgers is saying will be considered fact and all the non-thinkers, unwilling to deviate from what TV tells them, will deny calling Rodgers a conspiracy theorist. I’ve seen this one before…” added another.

Rodgers has yet to respond to the criticism of his remarks — but whether he likes it or not, it looks like the future hall-of-famer is at the center of another heated debate.

Last time I talked about making tiramisu. This time, I’m talking about lasagna. My partner had a dinner request, which they so rarely have, so I had to oblige. I’ve never made lasagna, but I’ve made plenty of other involved pasta dishes like stuffed shells. However, I was not expecting to make a hearty sauce from scratch. I did, though, and it was amazing. I used this recipe and I really don’t think they’re joking with the title of “World’s Best Lasagna.” It was delicious and worth the effort! We even had some leftover sauce. My only change would be to double the ricotta measurements.

“When I was in high school I had a folder on my desktop labeled ‘God’s gift to earth,’ It was images of Irish Wolfhounds that I had collected from Google,” Kylie began.

“I had fallen in love with the breed when I was young and never let my fascination with them fade,” she shared. “It all lead me to Winnie and holy s–t did she live up to the hype. She was everything I had hoped for in a wolfie and more.”

“I lost part of my soul today, but I know she is at peace,” Kylie then expressed.

As we mentioned, Jenna Brandt is an athlete. She played through the Iowa State Cyclones for three seasons, and even traveled to South America to compete against teams from other countries.

In 2020, however, Brandt shared that she would be transferring to the University of Northern Iowa. One assumes that she had met Purdy by this point … but honestly, you never know.

In an Eagles tank, he recalled how satisfying it’s been to play with the team in the city he loves and more than once, he literally had to stop talking because his emotions were so overwhelming.

“I’ve been asked many times why did I choose football — what drew me to the game — and I never have an answer that gets it right,” Jason said during a speech.

The star center had to stop many times to compose himself as it was clear he could not stop crying.

“The best way I could explain it is what draws you to your favorite song … your favorite book. It’s what it makes you feel. The seriousness of it. The intensity of it.

“Stepping on the field was the most alive and free I had ever felt,” he added. “There was a visceral feeling with football, unlike any sport. The hairs on my arms would stand up. I could hit somebody, run around like a crazed lunatic and then get told, ‘Good job.’ I love football.”

Right in the front row, cheering him on and crying just as hard, was his baby brother Travis, along with their parents Donna and Ed.

“For me, the decision came from always finding myself looking around and feeling like somebody was missing. I would load up the car and think, ‘Oh, I forgot something.’ But nobody was forgotten.

Savannah James Pregnant With LeBron’s 4th Child? The Latest On Their Kids was originally published on The Hollywood Gossip.

Travis Kelce has issued a statement in the wake of yet another mass shooting in America.

On Wednesday, the parade honoring Kelce and his Kansas City Chiefs teammates after their Super Bowl victory a few days earlier ended in tragedy.

According to local police reports, one person was killed and 22 people were shot after three individuals opened fire on attendees.

The person murdered has been identified as Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a mother of two and an employee at KKFI 90.1 FM.

The three alleged assailants have been taken into custody.

A short time after this fatal incident unfolded, Kelce wrote the following on Twitter:

“I am heartbroken over the tragedy that took place today. My heart is with all who came out to celebrate with us and have been affected. KC, you mean the world to me.”

Kelce, who is dating pop star Taylor Swift, has played his entire professional football career in Kansas City.

Swift, for her part, did not attend the parade.

During a press conference on Wednesday, Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves confirmed there was one deceased and 22 wounded after the shooting at Union Station in Kansas City, Missouri.

“Three persons were detained and under investigation for today’s incident,” Graves said. “Right now we do not have a motive…

“I’m angry at what happened today. The people who came to this celebration should expect a safe environment.”

We hope everyone reading this can agree with that statement.

The Chiefs released a message of their shortly after the mass shooting.

“We are truly saddened by the senseless act of violence that occurred outside of Union Station at the conclusion of today’s parade and rally. Our hearts go out to the victims, their families, and all of Kansas City,” it reads.

The back-to-back Super Bowl champions added that “all of our players, coaches, staff and their families are safe and accounted for,” while also saying that they were in close contact with law enforcement officials and expressing their gratitude to first responders.

“Praying for Kansas City… ????????????????????????,” Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes tweeted.

Speaking to the media yesterday, Graves explained that the police recovered at least one firearm from the scene… confirmed that Children’s Mercy Hospital was treating 12 patients who attended the rally … and said of those 12 patients, 11 are children and nine of the injured have gunshot wounds.

An official with Children’s Mercy later said that all patients being treated at Children’s Mercy are expected to have a full recovery.

“Shooting is never the answer. Praying for Kansas City & America in general, this is rough.

“Highly embarrassed and disappointed in this, Super Bowl wins will never be the same because of this, it’s devastating. Lives lost and people injured during something that was [supposed] to be a celebration. Horrible and traumatizing.

“So many prayers going to the families involved.”

During a pregame Q&A with reporters, Travis was asked if his girlfriend had given him a “pep talk” yet to boost his confidence. His answer was, well, confusing.

“She’s just working on entertaining them, making sure she’s ready for her performances and everything, but the Super Bowl, we’ll worry about if she can make it,” Travis said, according to TMZ.

Swift was in Baltimore for the aforementioned AFC-clinching victory.

She was also in Buffalo the previous week when the Chiefs defeated the Bills in the first round of the playoffs. Finally, she has attended nearly every Kansas City game since she and Kelce started dating.

But here’s the thing, folks: Attending the big game would take a massive act of love on Taylor’s part.

You see, Taylor will be in Tokyo the day before the Super Bowl!

She is scheduled to perform in Japan to kick off the next leg of her Eras tour that week.

Her final show of the leg is Saturday, Feb. 10 at 6 p.m. Tokyo time (JST). The Super Bowl is Sunday, Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Ok, time to do some math:

Tokyo is 12 hours ahead of Las Vegas.

Swift’s concert will start around 9 p.m. in Japan.

In theory, she can get a decent night sleep, hop on a plane around noon on February 11 and then go back in time on some magical sense, touching down in Nevada at 8 a.m. on that same date.

That doesn’t sound too bad!

Heck, Swift would have time for a nap or perhaps a mimosa-laden brunch with Brittany Mahomes before making her way to a suite for the Super Bowl.

We can’t say this with absolute certainty, we suppose.

We haven’t asked this question directly of Taylor Swift or anything.

But YES, you better believe she’ll be at the big game.

Ever since the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship game this past Sunday, the entire music world and sports universe have been asking the same question:

We all know that Swift wants to be there.

We all know she wants to cheer on boyfriend Travis Kelce, whose team is a 1.5-point underdog against the San Francisco 49ers.

But Swift has an Era Tour concert scheduled in Tokyo, Japan for the day before. She’ll be performing her three-plus hour set for fans there on Saturday, February 11.

As we’ve already documented, Swift should be able to make the game rather easily due to the time difference between Tokyo and Las Vegas, where the Super Bowl will be played.

For those who weren’t certain, however, the frickin Embassy of Japan just released a statement meant to assure all the doubters.

“Despite the 12-hour flight and 17-hour time difference, the Embassy can confidently Speak Now to say that if she departs Tokyo in the evening after her concert, she should comfortably arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins,” this institution actually wrote in a statement shared on its verified @JapanEmbDC Instagram account and other social media profiles on Friday.

It sounds like the Embassy is trying to quell the concerns of those planning to attend the upcoming Tokyo show.

They can rest easy. Swift will absolutely be there.

Concluded the message:

“We know that many people in Japan are excited to experience Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, so we wanted to confirm that anyone concerned can be Fearless in knowing that this talented performer can wow Japanese audiences and still make it to Las Vegas to support the Chiefs when they take the field for the Super Bowl wearing Red.”

Swift is scheduled to attend but not perform at the February 4 Grammy Awards before flying to Japan to perform four-consecutive nights at the Tokyo Dome on February 7-10.

She has not yet confirmed her attendance for the Super Bowl… but come on now.

At some point after the big game, Swift would then need to leave the United States to get to Australia for her seven shows in Melbourne and Sydney on February 16 through 26.
