Fixer to Fabulous Divorce: Why Did Chase Looney Leave the Show?

The popular HGTV renovation show Fixer to Fabulous appears to have been impacted by a divorce.

If you’re a fan of the show, you may have noticed that Chase Looney is no longer a member of the cast.

His abrupt, unexplained departure has sparked questions and rumors among viewers.

Chase Looney Was a Member of The ‘Fixer to Fabulous’ Family From the Start

Though Dave and Jenny Marr are the names most commonly associated with Fixer to Fabulous, Chase was along for the ride from the very beginning.

“He wasn’t really given an option NOT to be with us on the show, but he graciously came along for the ride and we couldn’t imagine not having him with us,” Jenny once wrote on Facebook, according to Closer (via Yahoo!).

Sadly, shortly after filming the pilot episode, Chase was badly injured in a freak accident.

Chase Looney’s Eye Injury: What Happened?

In July of 2022, Chase was setting up a fireworks display when one of the projectiles went off and struck him in the eye.

“The following days in the hospital, I was given the news that I lost my eye,” he wrote on Instagram at the time.

“That it would have to be removed. That I might not have movement in the left side of my face and that the scarring would be permanent,”

“I told them, ‘I don’t think I have the face for TV anymore.’ Through tears and laughter, they reassured me I never had a face for TV anyway,” he wrote.

Chase continued to appear on the show, now with an eye patch. But it looks as though his TV tenure has now come to an end.

Fixer to Fabulous Divorce: What Happened?

Though he’s never explicitly confirmed as much, it looks as though Chase and his wife, Chelsie, have called it quits.

In January of 2023, Chelsie alluded to the split in a Facebook post.

“Life is different with just the three of us,” Chase captioned a photo of his two children shortly thereafter.

One month later, he confirmed his departure from Fixer to Fabulous.

“Flashback to a simple, farm-style table I did for a little show I used to be a part of,” Chase captioned a photo of a picnic table.

“Miss you brother!” Dave Marrs commented on the post. “So happy the fire department is going well. Great stuff and hope you come back to the team soon!”

So it seems that Chase has returned to his previous career as a firefighter.

“Any chance you’ll be in fixer to fabulous season 5? Miss seeing you bud, you should have your own show,” a fan commented ahead of the show’s most recent season premiere.

“Sorry, no chance. But thank you so much for the kind words,” Looney replied.

Due to the timing, it’s safe to assume that Chase’s departure from the show was related to his divorce.

But it might be a long time before we have any additional information.

Jason Duggar Poses Shirtless, Defies Jim Bob’s ‘Modesty’ Rules

Jason Duggar recently posted a shirtless gym selfie.

Normally, a 24-year-old sharing a pic in order to show off his fitness progress wouldn’t be a big deal.

But Jason is a Duggar, which means he’s been raised with very strict rules regarding modesty and attire.

So when Jason posted a shirtless selfie to his Instagram Story (via The Sun) earlier this week, you can be certain that his parents were not especially pleased.

Fortunately, it seems that Jason is not overly concerned with what his parents think.

Is Jason Duggar the New Black Sheep of the Family?

Over the years, several members of the Duggar family have pushed back against Jim Bob’s authoritarian rule.

Jinger Duggar photograph

Jinger was once known as “the rebel Duggar,” and she earned that title by marrying a man her parents didn’t approve of and then moving to LA.

And then there’s Jill Duggar, who recently published a memoir in which she spoke candidly about her family’s many scandals.

And we can’t forget Amy, who has been criticizing Jim Bob for years, most notably during her appearance in the Amazon Prime documentary Shiny Happy People.

But in recent years, Jason Duggar has emerged as an unexpected rebel.

Notably, he’s one of the first male Duggars to publicly go against his parents’ teachings.

Of course, his acts of defiance are relatively minor when compared to what his sisters and cousin have accomplished.

Jason Duggar speaks to the camera during an appearance on his family's TLC reality show.

This is not the first time that Jason has posted a shirtless gym selfie, and he seems unconcerned by the fact that his parents oppose such behavior.

The Duggar Dress Code Is Strictly Enforced

The Duggar dress code has become infamous in recent years.

And while it mostly applies to the female members of the family, men and boys are not exempt.

So Jason knew that he would face disapproval from his parents by posting such a pic. But it seems that he didn’t really care.

Was he inspired by the rebellious example set by the female rebels in his family?

It’s tough to say. There have been rumors that Jason and Jill don’t get along, and he seems to be more politically conservative than some of his more progressive sisters.

But we’re guessing Jason’s parents wish that he would lean even harder to the right. And that he would keep his shirt on while he’s at it.

The Kardashians Season 5 Trailer: Kim vs. Khloe! And More!

As you may have previously heard, Kris Jenner will reveal that on The Kardashians Season 5 that she was recently diagnosed with a tumor.

This is obviously a very frightening development for the polarizing television personality.

Aside from Jenner’s physical health, however, another major focus of new episodes of this Hulu reality series will be the health of a certain relationship between sisters.

No, we’re not talking about Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian, who previously feuded on air.

Instead, this summer, it looks like the focus will shift to Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian.

In the first trailer for Season 5, Kim tells viewers that she and her loved ones have agreed to slow down a bit this year so that they can be “present in the moment,” only for Khloe to scoff and laugh and remark:

“Have the Kardashians slowed down? No.”

From there, the preview cuts to shots of family members at Fashion Week, along with Kim entering her “actress era” with her role on American Horror Story: Delicate… Kourtney’s pregnancy with Travis Barker… and then, as cited above, a bit of fighting between siblings.

In the video, Kim trashes Khloe for being “very judgmental,” prior to eventually labeling her as “unbearable” — while telling her sister she has a “stick up your ass.”

Yikes, huh?!?

As the two clash, Khloe informs Kim that she is “going through a lot right now” and “taking it out on me,” before Kim yells at Khloe to “get out!”

As is often the case, these brand new episodes were filmed a long time ago, as a lot of time it spent on Kourtney’s high-risk pregnancy… even though Kardashian gave birth months ago.

There’s also this fun quote from Khloe, who points to her chest in the promo and states:

“These aren’t my nipples, just so you guys know. They’re Kim’s.”

We’re glad we now know this, whatever the heck that means.

Here is the official season synopsis, courtesy of Hulu:

Just when you think life can’t get any faster in the Kardashian Jenner family, they punch it into overdrive.

From the big screen to baby bliss, the family continues to defy expectations in all their endeavors.

Cameras roll as Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie navigate contentious sister dynamics, all under the watchful eye of everyone’s favorite matriarch, Kris.

The Kardashians Season 5 premieres on Hulu on May 23.

Not Here to Make Friends

Contemporary RomanceLGBTQIARomance

NB: This is a review for both this book, and the entire trilogy.

I adored Jodi McAlister’s Marry Me Juliet trilogy. This contemporary romance series lovingly satirizes the Australian version of The Bachelor while offering a lot of wish fulfillment for fans of reality dating shows. Each book includes at least one moment that I’ve always wanted to happen on The Bachelor—from two bisexuals who fall for each other instead of the lead, to having all the women on the show organize together to reject the Bachelor star. It offers plenty of backstage drama alongside humorous insights about The Bachelor franchise. I think reality tv romance readers will especially enjoy these books, but the first book in the series offers adorable forced proximity and sympathetic characters that could hook other romance fans.

Here for the Right Reasons
A | BN
In Here for the Right Reasons, Cece is a regular watcher of Marry Me Juliet, a Romeo and Juliet-themed dating show that she and her best friends love to dissect. Cece applies for the show on drunken lark with no intention of following through…until she loses her job and decides to use the show to become an influencer. This is a terrible idea because Cece knows even less about social media than I do. Unfortunately for her, she becomes a babbling mess when she sees a camera and is quickly cut the first night by the show’s first lead of color, a kindhearted Olympic athlete named Dylan.

Luckily for us readers, a pandemic lockdown forces Cece and the other rejected women to stay at the same sprawling fancy property for the rest of filming, causing endless opportunities for drama. The show’s manipulative producer, Murray, is working hard to tell a fairy tale romance between Dylan and his gorgeous Juliets in the hopes of convincing the network that racially diverse casting can work. Behind the scenes, Dylan and Cece are fast becoming lockdown besties…and maybe more. But are either of them willing to blow up the show and Dylan’s chance to make Marry Me Juliet less racist?

Cece and Dylan are the sweetest nincompoops who struggle to see that their growing feelings are reciprocated. I thought Cece’s reactions to the manufactured reality tv environment were pitch perfect and felt like exactly what would happen if an awkward person ended up on The Bachelor. She wonders aloud why the women are forced to walk down a slick wet driveway to meet Dylan, and then promptly slips and nearly takes out both of them.

Still, Cece isn’t completely unskilled. She’s a former foster kid who deploys her ability to survive annoying environments by ignoring the women angry that Dylan spends most of his free time with the weird girl from episode one. I devoured this book because I loved Cece’s resilience and Dylan’s nurturing but I couldn’t see how these two would resolve the tension between their commitments to the show and their relationship.

Each book in the series is set in the same season of Marry Me Juliet and retells the same timeline of events in a different way, filling in conversations and budding relationships that we’d missed in the previous stories. It’s hard to review the other two books without spoiling Here for the Right Reasons because the other couples are a big surprise revealed at the end of the book that precede it. So if you don’t want to be spoiled, stop reading now.

Everybody good with your life choices?

Can I Steal You for a Second?
A | BN
Ok, let’s dig into Can I Steal You for a Second. This book follows two contestants who just ooze super sexy competency: Amanda, a White car mechanic still healing from a toxic queer breakup, and Dylan G, who’s Pasifika, and a nurse burnt out from the pandemic. Yes, Dylan has the same name as the male lead on the show. This was an amusing gender-neutral twist to The Bachelor’s habit of casting multiple Bens and Kelseys on the same season. I especially loved how the name overlap allowed Amanda to wail about falling for Dylan while the other contestants have no idea which Dylan she’s referring to.

I also loved that while Amanda has the more masculine-coded job, it’s Dylan G who is the protective badass during filming. Dylan G frequently steps in when the season’s villain, Lily, bosses other contestants around, giving Amanda a chance to swoon every time. These two had super strong sexual tension but I am sad to report these are cracked door romances at most. Since all the contestants are living together in bunk beds, the story had a classic lesbian boarding school vibe. However, I do wish the book had included Dylan G’s perspective, instead of making me read about her through Amanda.

By the time I read book 3, I was amazed by the creativity in the storylines and surprised that I never felt bored revisiting the same month-long time period. The third book, Not Here to Make Friends, takes that creativity to a new level, showing how seemingly hapless producer Murray was actually more observant than we thought about the romantic entanglements of Cece, Amanda and the Dylans. Yeah, he let the show go off the rails, but only because he was distracted by his pants feelings for Lily, the contestant everyone loved to hate.

Lily “Fireball” Ong is a polarizing character in the first two books. She’s loud, bossy, and not afraid to push women into swimming pools when they annoy her. She exclusively wears bright lipstick and brighter dresses, yelling at other women who dare to show up for a group date in the same hue. While Murray is scheming to push the other contestants together (or apart), Lily always seemed to be two steps ahead of him, snagging Romeo-Dylan’s attention and hogging screen time. I adored her from the moment she appears.

Lily is an amalgamation of The Bachelor’s most entertaining scene-stealers, like self-described princess, Erica Rose and Corinne Olympios of “my heart is gold, but my vagina is platinum” fame. Unlike most reality shows, the villains on The Bachelor are usually White women. Lily is Vietnamese Australian, and she knows that means the hate coming her way from viewers will be exponentially more intense. She is happy to sacrifice her reputation for more diversity on Marry Me Juliet, and plans to ride the wave of hate into social media stardom. The only person trying to protect Lily from herself is Murray.

To explain why means spoiling all three books.

Show Spoiler

Here’s the deal. Murray and Lily are long-time best friends and reality show producers who are estranged and haven’t spoken in a year. Lily secretly casts herself on the show as a plant, surprising Murray, and upending his narrative plans for his first season as showrunner. The book alternates chapters between the present day on the Marry Me Juliet set and their past history as friends. I admit the first time a flashback to Lily’s past appeared, I groaned. I tend to dislike it when stories alternate between the main characters’ past and present with every chapter. But I actually appreciated the flashbacks here!

The past chapters are told entirely from Lily’s point of view, and they help contextualize both her and Murray’s behavior in the present. We see that he used to be phenomenal at his job, for example, so his current failures to minimize chaos on set are definitely tied to the mess with Lily. We learn ice queen Lily has been into Murray since they met, but the timing never works because one of them always has a partner. I love a realistic obstacle to friends becoming lovers!

Throughout their friendship, Murray has been Lily’s biggest ally at work, fighting to get her the credit and promotions she deserves against various sexist bosses. Murray is a brilliant strategist but he is fully aware that Lily is smarter than him, and admits it. Murray’s love and support for Lily before he even wanted to sleep with her catapulted him into my Feminist Hero Hall of Fame.

The flashback chapters are short and they move through ten years of the friendship quickly, so I never felt like they were dragging me out the main story. I found myself rooting for Lily and Murray, both as producers who were trying to make their little corner of television more progressive, and as people who are obviously perfect together even when they haven’t figured that out yet.

Not Here to Make Friends pulls off one of the most compulsively readable villain redemption arcs I’ve read. Murray and Lily are unapologetically devious and revel in their ability to make people cry in service of great tv. The other characters don’t trust them since Amanda and Dylan G have to skirt around Murray’s manipulations, and Cece and Romeo-Dylan are befuddled by Lily’s unpredictability as she careens around set causing mayhem on camera while helping them sneak around behind the crew’s back. By the time I started the third book, I was dying to see if Lily and Murray could make sense as a couple.

Murray and Lily are the best kind of antiheroes. He’s cunning but usually for a good cause (aka taking down misogynists). She’s a chaos demon who loves pushing people’s buttons to make drama. Murray spends most of the third book falling apart from the stress of Lily’s stunts while Lily appears devastatingly calm, collected, and in emotional control. They are so similar and yet so different it’s really delicious to watch.

Lily’s point of view unfolds the mystery of why she decided to go on the show, and I just melted into a puddle of love after hearing everything she’s been through. This book combines enemies to lovers and friends to lovers, two of my least favorite tropes, and I loved it anyway! I appreciated that Lily and Murray have the same goal–entertaining reality tv with diverse representation–they just disagree on how to get there. Their partnership was really inspiring to read, even though they start and end the book as flawed workaholics who love scheming.

The Marry Me Juliet stories have very different tropes, but the themes are similar across all three books. There’s a lot of sneaking around to keep relationships secret, characters with a strong personal moral code, and healing from grief through found family. The characters in the books take the social impact of reality tv seriously and make it part of the stakes for all three couples, which I found refreshing and unusual among reality tv romances. At the same time, the stories were soapy, fun, and laced with biting social commentary. I desperately wish I could actually watch this most dramatic season of Marry Me Juliet yet on my tv screen.

Editor’s note: Here for the Right Reasons and Can I Steal You For a Second? are available digitally in the US. On June 4, 2024, Not Here to Make Friends will be released in print by Atria.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14: Everything You Need to Know!

The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 Might Be the Most Dramatic One Yet.

This is what Bravo wrote as a caption to a preview for new episodes of this long-running franchise, which returns on Sunday night, May 5.

It sounds familiar, we know.

But it may also be true.

On Season 14, Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Danielle Cabral and Rachel Fuda will be featured as lead cast members… while Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Fessler will return as Friends.

According to The Sun, filming kicked off way back in August 2023, not long after a three-part reunion aired in Bravo in June.

This same outlet reports that Giudice will remain the focus of the series on Season 14, but that she also will stick to her vow to stay clear from sister-in-law Melissa Gorga.

We actually won’t see very much of these women feuding.

So, what will we witness this spring and summer?!?

Margaret and Jackie got into a big argument over her book. Jackie gave out copies of her book to a few cast members, but Margaret did not get one and that made her question their friendship,” an insider tells The Sun.

Josephs especially takes issue with her so-called friend because she introduced Jackie to the publicist who helped get her this book deal.

“I think people are so used to Jersey being about family,” Gorga has said to The Sun. “It’s a huge twist this year – plot twist!”

Margaret also teased to this publication that the “biggest fight” this season is between Jennifer Aydin and Danielle Cabral. A PHYSICAL fight, she emphasizes.

Jennifer pushed Danielle during the argument and Danielle retaliated by crumpling her plastic cup and hurling it towards Jennifer’s face, drawing blood,” a source previously alleged to Page Six.

These cast members were even suspended for a few days as a result of this altercation.

“I could say for me it was very surprising. But for the viewer and fan of Housewives, it’s not surprising. They already knew what kind of person I was dealing with,” Danielle says to The Sun.

As for Teresa’s controversial husband, Luis Ruelas?

Rachel and John Fuda will continue to accuse him of hiring an investigator to look into their lives.

These accusations have been brought to court — as of February 2024 — when attorney Kevin S. Johnson and his firm filed a lawsuit against Luis (among others), accusing him of violating the Federal Wiretap Act, the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act and the New Jersey Wiretapping and Electronic Surveillance Control Act.

Finally… welcome to Kayla Giovinazzo, Tiffany Chantell-Rosania, and Jessica Kiraly.

These three fresh faces were brought on this season “as a test,” writes The Sun, to see if they might replace any veteran cast members down the line.

Tiffany competed on The Amazing Race in 2015; Kayla is married to Jamie Giovinazzo, the CEO and Founder of Eat Clean Bro; and Jessica creates fashion and lifestyle content on social media.

The Real Housewives of Season 14 will air on Bravo at 8/7c.

Rachel Leviss Goes Instagram Official With New Boyfriend Matthew Dunn

After enduring one of the most controversial years in the history of reality television, Rachel Leviss has moved on with a new boyfriend!

As you’re probably aware, Rachel’s affair with Tom Sandoval was the most talked-about scandal of 2023.

And it may have single-handedly revived interest in the long-running Bravo series Vanderpump Rules.

But a whole lot has changed since then.

For starters, Rachel is going by a new name! She was known as Raquel Leviss during her time on Bravo, but she’s now returned to her birth name.

On top of that, Rachel has quit the show that made her famous, opting for improved mental health over continued reality fame.

Tom and Raquel’s romance has come to an end, but the fallout will likely remain with them for the rest of their lives! (Bravo)

And then there’s the fact that Vanderpump Rules might be facing cancelation following yet another lackluster season.

But the most exciting development in the life of Raquel Leviss is her new relationship!

According to Taste of Reality, Rachel is dating a single dad and productivity guru named Matthew Dunn.

Matthew recently shared the news of their relationship by posting an Instagram Story in which the new couple took part in a group nature expedition.

“We rode over the mountains and through the woods but grandma’s house could not be found. However, we did rally the side by sides and swam at a waterfall!” he captioned the post.

Rachel left a comment reading, “What an incredible experience,” which prompted Matthew to agree that the trip was “so much fun.”

ET Online has confirmed the relationship, with a source telling the outlet:

“Rachel is seeing investment CEO Matthew Dunn. The two met through friends and have been enjoying their time together.”

Who Is Matthew Dunn?

Little is known about Matthew, but according to Reality Blurb, an Instagram post from May of 2022 describes him as a “[seven]-figure business owner.”

“He’s managed this for [eight] consecutive years and is on the way to building an [eight]-figure company. He is passionate about helping others find personal power through awareness, total ownership, and truth,” the page explained.

Rachel’s publicist tells ET that Leviss has been spending a lot of time with Matthew.

The rep maintains, however, that the relationship is in the very early stages.

Still, it sounds like Rachel found herself a potential keeper!

In any event, the guy is definitely an improvement over Tom freakin’ Sandoval!

Nia Sioux Responds To ‘Dance Mom’ Star’s Diss Over Skipping Reunion

Nia Sioux, an original cast member of Dance Moms, is breaking her silence after other cast members insinuated she wasn’t “grateful” for her time on the show.

Dance Moms: The Reunion brought together six of the girls who trained under the controversial techniques of Abby Lee Miller. Nia was one of the three original cast members to decline the invitation to appear on the special.

Those who did show up have called the missing girls out for not appreciating where they came from – and Nia responded.

JoJo Siwa Calls Out ‘Dance Mom’ Stars Who Didn’t Attend The Special

During the special, JoJo Siwa spoke out against the dancers who chose not to come, saying, “Them not being here is like, ‘Let me erase my past, pretend it never happened, shove it down the drain,’ when it’s like, that’s why you are who you are.”

Kendall Vertes felt the same. “I think everyone knows who’s not here. Maybe they just don’t think they needed this.”

But the Hyland sisters, who returned for the special despite their dramatic exit, felt more sympathy for the absent dances.

“Some people might still be processing and it’s hard to talk about some of the stuff we went through,” said Paige, with sister Brooke adding, “They closed the book and they don’t want to open it up and backtrack.”

The other pair of Dance Mom sisters, Mackenzie and Maddie Ziegler shared they had no interest in reliving the “era” shortly after the reunion special was announced.

Now, Nia Sioux is ready to clear the air.

Nia Sioux Speaks Out About Skipping ‘Dance Moms: The Reunion’

“I wasn’t going to say anything,” Nia said in a TikTok posted the night before the reunion special. After admitting she was trying to avoid any “drama,” Nia admitted she felt she needed to clear the air so a “false narrative” didn’t spread.

“The reason is quite simple. I just didn’t want to do it,” Nia shared. “Some people think it was because I had sorority stuff, nope, I didn’t. Some people think it’s because I’m in school. I am in school, but it wouldn’t have been an issue.”

“I just didn’t want to do it,” Nia insisted, “and that’s a good enough answer and that’s a good enough reason.”

Nia was one of the girls from the original cast who stayed the longest with the show. She lasted until season 7, before leaving to start her own career. She’s currently a senior at UCLA and will be graduating in May.

She added that, while some of the girsl feel a way about her not attending, she feels no animosity toward her friends and fellow dancers.

“I love the girls, and I’m really happy for them. And I’m really happy that they get to share how they felt and their experiences. But that’s just something that I decided I didn’t want to do. And that’s OK!”

Nia’s Own Reunion With The OG Dance Moms Cast

While Nia did not attend the Lifetime reunion, she did attend a party a night before the taping to celebrate Paige’s birthday.

The soiree was attended by all the original cast members and their moms, including Maddie Ziegler, her sister, and Melissa – all of whom also turned down the invite to be in the special.

In her TikTok, Nia wanted to clarify one more thing. The idea that she’s not thankful for her time on the show is false.

“Any interview I’ve done when someone has asked me about the show I always say I’m grateful for it,” she said. “I have such an amazing life now, truly.”

And then, Nia laid the groundwork for what’s to come, including showing up for another reunion.

“I never said I wouldn’t do a reunion show in the future or talk about my experiences in the future,” Nia explained. “But right now, in this moment, it was not the right time for me to do that.

Why Mackenzie & Maddie Ziegler Left ‘Dance Moms’ As Teenagers

Mackenzie and Maddie Ziegler left Dance Moms in the sixth season, but there is so much more to the story than that.

With the Dance Moms reunion special airing in May, and the Ziegler girls refusing to participate, many fans are wondering exactly what went down with the girls and teacher, Abby Lee Miller.

Did their time just run it’s course or was there something more substantial going on?

Spoiler alert: It’s the latter.

Why Mackenzie & Maddie Ziegler Left ‘Dance Moms’

In 2016, after six years with the show, Maddie and her sister Mackenzie left the Dance Moms franchise forever. Their exit has been a sour subject for them.

To hear Maddie tell it, by then, it wasn’t so much of a choice to leave, but a need.

“For the longest time, we felt so guilty,” The Fallout actress told Cosmopolitan in 2022.

“She trained me, she helped me, but also, I knew I would be okay without her and I was sick of being in a toxic environment. I was like, ‘This is not for me. I can’t do this.’”

Maddie has not spoken to Abby Lee since.

The problem was, the girls were still under contract with the show and Lifetime. By the time the girls were finally ready to leave, they had a powerful ally in their corner: Sia.

Sia had enlisted young Maddie to star in some of her most popular music videos, like Chandelier. Because of that relationship, she was able to help the family out.

“[My mom] really did everything to try to break our contract and pull us out, and eventually did with the help of Sia,” Maddie said of her exit in 2016 in a 2023 podcast. “It was hard … We would do almost 30 episodes a season, so it consumed our lives.”

Abby Lee Miller’s Reaction To The Ziegler Sister’s Exit

Shortly after Maddie made those comments about the dance company being “toxic,”, Abby Lee Miller sat down for an appearance on Sofia Franklyn’s Sofia With an F podcast to discuss her relationship with the family.

“I can’t really separate Maddie from her sister and her mother, and there is some…I don’t want to use the term ‘bad blood,’ but there are some devastating things there.”

Indeed, for Abbey Lee, she seemed she was far less concerned with the accusations of bullying and abuse, and far more concerned with the allegation that she was stiffed money by Mack and her mother.

Abby alleged that she did not receive “one penny” from Mackenzie’s 2014 song “It’s a Girl Party,” despite having produced it.

“A song that went to No. 1 in three countries on iTunes, ‘It’s a Girl Party.’ I produced it. I did everything for that child. Mack Z was my creation,” Abby claimed.

Ziegler Sisters Skipped The ‘Dance Moms’ Reunion

It’s clear now, all these years later, that Maddie and her sister prefer to put the past behind them.

When Lifetime invited them to appear on Dance Moms: The Reunion, the immediately declined.

“We didn’t want to go back in time to that era,” they said in a statement to ET.

But the choice to relive their childhood does not mean they still don’t have relationships with the other girls.

The day before Dance Moms: The Reunion filmed, the majority of the original cast – minus Abbey Lee, obv – came together to celebrate Paige Hyland’s birthday. This included Nia Sioux and her mother, who also did not participate in the reunion.

In photos shared on social media by Maddie’s mother, Melissa Gisoni , all of the girls look happy to be reunited. Notably absent are the other two girls who actually participated in the reunion special: JoJo Siwa and Kalani Hilliker. The latter was brought onto the show during Brooke and Paige’s final episode, during the infamous fight that is still a viral moment to this day.

Jill Duggar Shares Heartbreaking Baby Bump Photos From Before Daughter’s Stillbirth

Jill Duggar posted some baby bump photos on her Instagram page this week.

But unlike previous instances in which Jill shared pregnancy selfies, this was not a joyous occasion.

Jill announced the stillbirth of her daughter in April.

She previously shared photos from the baby’s funeral. But it was only this week that she chose to share images from the pregnancy that ended in tragedy.

Jill Duggar’s Baby Bump Photos Prompt Outpouring of Support

“The baby bump photos we were so excited to share, but didn’t get to before she was gone,” she captioned the post.

Hundreds of commenters shared words of kindness and support for Jill and her family.

The top comment came from Jill’s cousin, Amy Duggar, who wrote the following:

“Isla had a purpose and will continue to leave her mark here there’s no doubt about it! I wonder how many people you will minister to with your testimony?

“Now Isla is growing up with sweet River. I can’t imagine the heartbreak love, I truly cannot. But may I offer another way of coping from this intense loss?

“Can you imagine growing up In Heaven? Think of the beauty, the unity and the presence of the Lord! Your two children were special enough to never know the darkness of this world.

“They are living in perfect peace and you will see them again. What a reunion that day will be!! Also Grandma is there.. I have this mental picture of her holding them. Hugs as you all continue to heal! Love you!!” Amy concluded.

“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the stillbirth of our beautiful baby girl, Isla Marie Dillard,” Jill and husband Derick Dillard wrote in their announcement on April 14.

Jill Duggar looks somber in this photo as she prepares to open up about her parents. (Photo Credit: Amazon)

“Jill was 4 months pregnant (due in August) when we found out that our baby died in utero,” the couple continued.

“From the moment we found out we were pregnant, we couldn’t wait to meet our baby. Isla was much loved from the start, and her 3 big brothers were so excited to introduce her to their world.”

The Duggars Come Together Amid Tragedy

Jill reunited with her estranged parents in the wake of this family tragedy.

And it seems that she’s receiving a great deal of support from her cousin and her many siblings.

But the grief that Jill and husband Derick Dillard are experiencing is clearly profound.

The kindness the couple has received from friends, family, and fans is surely helpful. But nothing can cure the pain the Dillards are enduring at the moment.

With any luck, Jill and Derick will eventually be able to move forward. And if they decide to continue expanding their family, we hope that they’ll be able to do so with joy and optimism in their hearts.

In the meantime, our thoughts go out to the Dillards during this enormously difficult time.

Why Maddie Ziegler Skipped ‘Dance Moms’ Reunion With JoJo Siwa

Former members of Abby Lee Miller’s Dance Company reunited for the first time in a decade, but Maddie Ziegler was not among them.

When Dance Moms fans tune in to the reunion special on May 1, fans of the West Side Story star will be surprised not to see her sitting next to JoJo Siwa or the other girls.

Or maybe they won’t. To be honest, there’s a lot of bad blood between Maddie and the dance teacher who put these dancers on the map via reality TV.

And because Maddie Ziegler skipped the reunion, she now has some beef with the other girls.

Why Maddie Ziegler Skipped ‘Dance Moms’ Reunion

Dance Moms: The Reunion brought together many of the reality show’s most famous alums. JoJo Siwa, Chloé Lukasiak, Brooke Hyland, Paige Hyland, Kendall Vertes, and Kalani Hilliker and agreed to appear.

Noticeably absent from the special are OG cast member Nia Sioux and sisters Kenzie and Maddie Ziegler. Behind JoJo, Maddie is arguably the most famous face to come out of the franchise. It was confirmed that the Ziegler sisters were invited to participate, but immediately turned the offer down.

“We didn’t want to go back in time to that era,” they said in a statement to ET.

While the decision to skip the reunion was completely their choice, the other girls who did participate slammed the move during the special.

JoJo Siwa Turns On Maddie Ziegler For Skipping Reunion

In a controversial move, JoJo Siwa actually defends Abby Lee Miller and her controversial behavior during Dance Moms. During the special, JoJo even took things a step further and called out all of the girls, like Maddie, who turned down the reunion special because of her complicated relationship with Abby Lee Miller.

“Them not being here is kind of like, ‘Let me erase my past, pretend it never happened, shove it down the drain,’” JoJo said to the other girls. “When it’s like, that’s why you are who you are.”

It seems most other girls agreed with JoJo, like Kalani, who can be seen nodding along, and Kendall Vertes, who added:

“We would not be here without Dance Moms. It was literally the stepping stone into who we are today.”

Other girls came to their defense.

“Some people might still be processing and it’s hard to talk about some of the stuff we went through,” said Paige, as Brooke adds, “They closed the book and they don’t want to open it up and backtrack.”

The OTHER Reunion JoJo Wasn’t Invited To

To make the story even more complicated, while Maddie, Mack, Nia and their mothers didn’t join the official Lifetime reunion, the OG stars still got together.

The night before the reunion taping!

Yes, the day before Dance Moms: The Reunion was filmed, the majority of the original cast took to social media to share that they were together for the first time in a decade. Maddie and Mack’s mom Melissa Gisoni posted a group picture of the Dance Moms cast gathered around a table, celebrating Paige Hyland’s birthday.

Notably absent were the second generation girls who came after Brooke and Paige left the show: Kalani and JoJo.

Not a very nice move, but give the show’s history, perhaps not entirely unsurprising.

What’s Maddie Doing Now

Maddie was on Dance Moms for six seasons, from 2011 to 2016. These days, she’s off TV and into the movie scene, along with dancing and modeling.

In not wanting to look back, Maddie is most definitely looking ahead to a bright future in Hollywood.

After her breakout role in West Side Story, she recently starred alongside Wednesday actress Jenna Ortega in The Fallout. She has another film, Fitting In, coming out in 2024.

In short, Maddie is growing up and growing away from the little girl people saw on-screen. And honestly, isn’t that the way it should be?

“I’m not always going to be that little girl,” she told Teen Vogue in March. “I’m still that same goofy, loving, hard-working girl, but I’m also changing and growing. It’s scary when people are like, ‘But you’re not who you were when you were younger.’ And I have to explain, ‘Yeah, because that’s just not realistic.’”

Ariana Madix: Raquel Leviss Wants to ‘Punish’ Me With Revenge Porn Lawsuit

Ariana Madix and her lawyers had some choice words for Raquel Leviss this week.

Back in February, Raquel filed a lawsuit against Ariana and her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval.

As you’re probably aware, Tom cheated on Ariana with Raquel, and the affair is still creating controversy on Vanderpump Rules.

Ariana found out about the affair when she caught sight of some incriminating footage on Sandoval’s phone.

Raquel is now accusing the former couple of revenge porn, intentional infliction of emotional distress, eavesdropping, and invasion of privacy.

Ariana Madix Claps Back at Raquel Leviss

But in new court documents obtained by Page Six, Ariana’s lawyers allege that Raquel “seeks to punish” and “blame Ms. Madix for the negative reaction [Leviss] received as a result of her affair with” Sandoval.

The documents allege that Raquel’s lawsuit is “an abuse of the legal process” and “does not seek
to vindicate any cognizable rights” but instead attempts to limit Ariana’s right to free speech.

Ariana’s lawyers claim that she was “devastated and immediately confronted” Sandoval about his affair.

She then sent Leviss a text that read, “you’re dead to me,” along with the video.

The attorneys note, however, that that was the only time that Ariana shared the footage with anyone.

Ariana Tells Her Side of the Story

In a court filing, Ariana says she didn’t “share or show any of the video footage she found” because Sandoval deleted it off her phone during their subsequent argument.

“I did not send the videos to anyone else … I only saw the video of [Leviss] masturbating in places secluded from others — alone in the bathroom stall and in the alley with Mr. Sandoval,” Leviss writes.

“A heated argument ensued between me and Mr. Sandoval, and Mr. Sandoval forcibly grabbed my phone from my hands, causing my credit cards and driver’s license to fall to the pavement,” she continues.

“I quickly grabbed my cards off the pavement and chased after Mr. Sandoval, who had further distanced himself from the club.

“By the time I caught up to him, Mr. Sandoval had deleted from my phone the videos I had recorded of the Facetime video.”

Leviss claims that Sandoval recorded her without her knowledge, but Tom’s lawyers insist that she created the footage in question and sent it to his phone.

“Based on Leviss’ own allegations, Sandoval merely saved private copies of the videos that Leviss had filmed and shared with him,” the filing reads.

“Sandoval’s response in the face of irrefutable evidence that will be presented in court is disturbing,” Raquel’s lawyers responded.

“Leveraging such claims for media attention and perpetuating victim-blaming is not just deplorable but actionable.”

It’s still unclear if this case will go to court, but it seems obvious that the Scandoval is far from over!

JoJo Siwa Defends Abby Lee Miller’s ‘Controversial’ Actions During …

The cast of Dance Moms is reuniting for the first time, but it sounds like only one is willing to defend the woman who brought them together.

Abby Lee Miller reality show legacy is not just one of turning her students into stars on Dance Moms, but for torturing them to do so.

She’s been called every name in the book – bully, tyrant, abusive – but despite all the controversy, one of her former pupils came to her defense during the Dance Moms: The Reunion special.

JoJo Siwa apparently is still team Abby Lee Miller.

JoJo Siwa Defends Abby Lee Miller’s Behavior to Angry Co-Stars

“This is going to be a little controversial to say, I think, but, to me, Abby was always right,” JoJo admitted to a collection of her former costars.

Reunited with the other girls for the first time, JoJo chats with Kalani Hilliker, Kendall Vertes, Chloé Lukasiak, Paige Hyland, and Brooke Hyland during the Dance Moms: The Reunion special. When pressed, she confesses that the trials she endured under Abby’s direction prepared her for the next chapter of her life.

“If I was a mess and a beat off, she wasn’t just yelling at me because she wanted to yell at me. I actually was a mess and I was a beat off,” JoJo admits in the first look of the special via ET.

She hold firm in her argument that Abbey wasn’t controlling or mean just to be vindictive, but rather to prepare the girls for the reality of being a professional dancer.

“One thing that I’ve learned really working, like, insane, in Hollywood is that that’s normal,” Jojo adds. “And it’s scary that that’s normal, but that taught me how to survive in the industry. It truly is so tough.”

‘Dance Moms’ Cast Don’t Forgive Abby Lee Miller

It may turn out to be that JoJo is the lone defender of her teacher, as the other girls have made it quite clear through the years that they’ve found Abby’s methods abusive and traumatic.

For example, in October 2014, a lawsuit was filed on behalf of Paige Hyland, who was then only 13 years old. She claimed that she suffered emotional abuse during her time at the ALDC. She went so far as to claim Abbey “insulted and abused Paige on an almost daily basis, including cruel name calling, insults about Paige’s physical appearance and making offensive false and defamatory accusation [sic] about Paige’s family.” The suit was dismissed in July 2015.

How Paige responds to JoJo defense remains to be seen, but in the trailer indicates that Paige hasn’t yet let go of her anger (and rightly so.)

“It’s hard to say I forgive her when she did so many nasty things to me.”

Maddie Ziegler Missing From ‘Dance Moms: The Reunion’

Noticeably absent from the special are sisters Kenzie and Maddie Ziegler. The latter has been very vocal about her distain for Abbey and how painful it has been for her to look back on her past.

“I had more stress [on the show] than I did once I left. I have dissociated so much from that time,” Maddie Ziegler, who starred on the Lifetime reality TV show from 2011 until 2016, told Cosmopolitan in June 2022. “It’s weird because there were really amazing times, but there were also a lot of things that were really, really not great for us kids.”

Arguably, Maddie and JoJo Siwa have been the biggest success stories to come out of the franchise. While JoJo showed some compassion for Abbey, she has less understanding for the girls who skipped the reunion.

In fact, she directly called out the absent dancers: “Them not being here is kind of like, ‘Let me erase my past, pretend it never happened, shove it down the drain.’ When it’s like, that’s why you are who you are,” she said.

Garrick and Dannielle Merrifield Secretly Welcome Baby #3!

SURPRISE!

Garrick and Dannielle Merrifield revealed on the April 22 installment of Seeking Sister Wife that they welcomed a third child into their immediate family… a long time ago.

Daughter Leia Lilly Melisa Merrifield was born on May 17 of late year, the unusual couple has now confirmed, speaking with People Magazine about their latest addition.

“Leia is such a personality. She is very particular with what she likes and doesn’t like,” the Merrifields tell this publication.

Garrick and Dannielle Merrifield in in the confessional last season on Seeking Sister Wives. (TLC)

“She makes us all laugh. She is super independent and has been since birth. I prayed she would have her daddy’s beautiful blue eyes and she does.”

Added Dannielle:

“Pregnancy at 35 is a lot harder than pregnancy at 20, for sure. I had some preterm contractions at about 19 weeks and was hospitalized to get things under control.

“It was super scary because I didn’t have any problems in my previous pregnancies with our boys.”

The Merrifields have starred for multiple seasons on Seeking Sister Wife.

Garrick has not always been the most popular cast member on this show, which centers on plural marriages and expanded family units.

He was dragged hard a few years ago after it certainly seemed as if he just wanted a second spouse so he could have sex with more than one woman.

“We decided two years ago that God wanted us to live a plural lifestyle,” Garrick said on the Seeking Sister Wife Season 3 premiere.

Garrick and Dannielle Merrifield have not always had it easy finding another sister wife for their family. (Youtube/TLC)

“We don’t come from a polygmous background, but we believe in the bible, and people in there had multiple wives.

“And I thought ‘Gee, the people in there are godly people and God loved them, so I then realized God wasn’t against that.”

Dannielle, however, has always seemed hesitant about sharing her husband.

After praying about it awhile back, she said on air that she “realized bringing a sister wife into mine and Garrick’s relationship means my children gain another mother figure, and I think we all gain a little more love in our lives as well.”

That’s one way to look at it, we suppose.

The Merrifield are parents to a pair of sons on top of their new daughter.

“As everyone knows, it’s crazy how fast time goes by,” Dannielle also told People.

“It’s insane that she’s almost one year old and about to start walking! It’s so true that we have to treasure every moment of life because they’re so fleeting.

“We didn’t expect to have our beautiful baby princess Leia, but we wouldn’t change it for the world.”

Seeking Sister Wife airs Monday nights at 9/8c on TLC.

Andy Cohen: Actually on the Way OUT at Bravo?!?

It may be the end of a massively successful era at Bravo.

According to In Touch Weekly, Andy Cohen may soon be parting ways with the cable network… in the wake of dwindling ratings for a number of programs, along with a number of controversies swirling around the mega producer.

“Negotiations for Cohen’s departure package are underway as he grapples with the fallout from mounting accusations by his stars,” said a tabloid source this week.

How could this, considering Cohen has hosted a talk show on Bravo for years and is the executive producer of pretty much all Real Housewives franchises?

Back in February, Brandi Glanville accused Cohen of inappropriate behavior.

In a letter, the star alleged that an “inebriated” Cohen sent Glanville a video message awhile back stating of “his intention to sleep with another Bravo star that night while thinking of her and invited her to watch via Facetime.”

The letter went on to say that the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star felt “trapped” and “disgusted” due to the nature of Cohen’s exchange.

Cohen defended himself at the time by insisting he was merely joking around, but also said it was “totally inappropriate and I apologize.”

Also, earlier this year, Leah McSweeney filed a civil lawsuit in the Southern District of New York.

It names Cohen, Bravo Media, NBC Universal Media, Warner Bros. Discovery, Shed Media US and three producers… and it claimed that these defendants were responsible for unsafe workplace environment, one in which employees experienced pressure to consume alcohol.

McSweeney went on to accuse of producers discriminating against her history of alcoholism and mental health struggles by “intentionally planning scenarios intended to exacerbate [her] disabilities.”

Their alleged goal, she wrote? To “create morbidly salacious reality television.”

Cohen and Bravo have denied the accusations from McSweeney, withh one insider previously saying: “This couldn’t be further from the truth,” says a Bravo insider.

Still, Cohen no longer has the standing he once enjoyed at Bravo.

But does this mean he’s truly on the way out?

“There is absolutely no truth to this story — it is obviously made up by a source who is not credible,” a Bravo spokesperson told People Magazine on Thursday.

Back at BravoCon 2023 in November, Cohen didn’t sound anxious to change jobs any time in the near future.

“Next year is my 20th year at Bravo,” he said at the time.

“Next year is our 15th year of Watch What Happens Live.

“I’ll stay as long as Bravo wants me, as I once said to a very long running housewife being on TV is a gift, it is not a right.”

Lauryn Shannon to Mama June: You’re a B-tch and a Crackhead!

Mama June: Family Crisis?

That reality show title felt especially appropriate this past Friday night.

As previously reported, the woman after whom this series is named has been at the center of a family storm of late because June Shannon has refused to help pay for daughter Alana’s college tuition.

It’s actually worse than that, too.

June Shannon in 2024
June Shannon looks on here during an episode of her annoying reality show. (WEtv)

On a previous installment of Mama June: Family Crisis, the 44-year old revealed that she had taken money from her teenager’s Coogan account — a trust where parents of child stars are legally required to deposit a percentage of their earnings — while discussing Alana’s plans for college in Colorado.

The mother of four claimed in past arguments with her kids that she used some of this cash on Alana to pay for her upkeep over the years.

“Every time that you needed something, clothes or whatever, hair appointments, lash appointments, nail appointments,” the matriarch listed on air, noting her daughter had essentially been paying her own bills since she was 12 years old… just without knowing she was doing so.

“And you’ve been doing a good job of it.”

This explanation didn’t sit well with Alana, of course, who threatened to sue June over the stolen funds.

On the episode that aired on April 12, meanwhile, Mama June sat down with her husband, Justin Shroud, and daughters Lauryn and Alana to straighten out the money that has vanished from the latter’s Coogan account.

For her part, Lauryn was prepared, even standing in front of a whiteboard that depicted her sister’s earning over the years, along with June’s account transactions.

After cross-referencing Alana’s various child star appearances — from back when she was a famous, young beauty pageant contestant — out-of-state taxes and the money Mama June spent… Pumpkin said there is $35,728 missing from Alana’s account.

The Shannon family

“Well, you’re not even allowing me to talk,” Mama June said in response to the reveal, asking if the group really expects her to just hand this sum over to Alana.

“If Mama wants to have like a relationship with me she needs to pay me back, because one thing I don’t do, is I don’t hang around no ‘thief’ that gonna steal my money now,” Alana said to the camera in an emotional confessional, adding:

“You was the one who stole it so you need to pay my money back.”

Sure makes sense in our opinion.

On Mama June: Family Crisis, the titular June Shannon speaks to the confessional camera. (Image Credit: WEtv)

That’s a lot of money, enough to pay for for two semesters of Alana’s college education.

Approached with this information, Mama June actually said she doesn’t believe that her youngest daughter will stick it out and therefore doesn’t want to give her tuition money just for her to drop out.

As it should have, such a sentiment set Lauryn off.

“You’re being [a] negative bitch!” Lauryn screamed. “You’re not a supportive mother! … Who cares?!

“It’s investing in your daughter if you lost 10 grand? You lost $500,000 to a bag of f—ing crack, bitch!”

June Shannon on television

Indeed, Shannon previously confessed to spending a whopping sum of cash on hard drugs during her substance abuse period.

She’s not really in a place to be doling out life advice.

Toward the end of the episode, Shannon told her kids that she doesn’t “tell y’all what to do with you’re money,” prompting Alana to jump in to say nobody is “mad” for her refusal to help with college.

“I don’t even want you to pay for college. I just want my 35 grand back in my account so I can pay for college,” she replied, emphasizing that this is HER money.

We’re guessing this won’t be the final time this season we heard about the uproar over June’s actions.

Robyn Dixon: FIRED from The Real Housewives of Potomac!

We’ve got a shocker, Bravo Nation.

On the most recent edition of her Reasonably Shady podcast, Robyn Dixon got raw and honest with listeners, telling them in no uncertain terms that she is done filming The Real Housewives of Potomac.

And not by her volition, either.

“Yes, I will not be returning for season nine of The Real Housewives of Potomac,” said Dixon on air, breaking down the situation as follows:

“It’s reality. The network did not invite me back. I was fired, for lack of better words. And I will not sugar-coat the situation the situation and say, ‘Oh, I am walking away and this is a break,’ or anything like this.”

Dixon is/saw one of the only four remaining original cast members on this franchise.

The reality star deserves credit here for her candor, adding on the podcast:

“This was a network decision and I’m okay with it because nothing lasts forever.”

It’s been a rough several months for Dixon.

The 45-year-old has been at the center of some romantic controversy of late… as rumors of infidelity on husband Juan Dixon’s part have been circulating online for nearly a year now.

Both sides have denied any cheating has taken place, however.

The spouses also faced professional hardship after the retired NBA player lost his job as the head coach of the Coppin State University men’s basketball team in 2023.

Bravo, meanwhile, appears to be enacting a significant change when it comes to the future of The Real Housewives of Potomac.

We already know, for example, that fellow series regular Candiace Dillard Bassett will not return for season nine.

Executives have not yet revealed the statues of season 8 stars Gizelle Bryant, Karen Huger, Ashley Darby, Wendy Osefo, Mia Thornton or Nneka Ihim.

One of them has already gotten in trouble for blurting out a homophobic slur and may not be asked back as a result.

Back on March 25, this is what Bassett said about her professional fate:

“As I embark on a new chapter after six remarkable years with The Real Housewives of Potomac, I am filled with gratitude for the enriching friendships, personal growth and moments of introspection that have defined this journey.

“With a whirlwind of new opportunities and responsibilities on my plate, I have decided to take a break from RHOP.”

She also thanked her fans for their “unwavering support,” and added:

“I look forward to the exciting adventures that lie ahead and more importantly, sharing them all with you!”

‘Little People, Big World’ Canceled: Will Show Go After Shocking Cast …

Another season of Little People, Big World has come to an end – but will it ever return again?

After some huge shakeups in the show’s 25 season, many fans are concerned that the beloved TLC is now canceled. There’s been no official word if the show would recover, and with half of the family not returning – yes, HALF – the outlook doesn’t look good.

Will Little People, Big World be canceled? Here’s what we know.

Little People Big World Over? Zach and Tori Exit The Show For Good

Back on February 22, Tori Roloff and Zach Roloff made an announcement in regard to their future as cast members on Little People, Big World.

“We are done. That part of our lives, that chapter has closed,” said Tori Roloff on a recent episode of her and her husband’s podcast, confirming their departure from Little People, Big World.

Zach then made it sound as if their contracts have run out and neither the couple itself nor network executives are interested in a renewal.

“We’ve made it pretty clear,” added Zach on this same podcast. “They haven’t asked us back technically.”

It’s been an open non-secret for nearly two years now that Zach and Tori don’t get along with the former’s father, Matt Roloff.

In one of the first episodes of the 25th season, Matt expressed disappointment over his son and daughter-in-law not attending a local charity event.

By the finale, nothing resolved.

“When Zach and Tori said, they were going to, you know, isolate themselves to give themselves space ,” Matt said in the finale, “they didn’t put a timeline on it, and we’re two years into it.”

He added: “And it’s always sad when you don’t get to see your grandkids and somebody can’t seem to find healing … [or] build a bridge.”

Did Matt and Zach’s Feud Destroy The Show?

The rivalry started back in May 2022 when Matt listed 14 acres of his Oregon farm for sale, angering Zach because the father of three felt as if his own dad didn’t give him a fair chance to purchase this property.

Zach proceeded to trash him as a coward and a manipulator after Matt pushed back against this summary of events.

The relationship hasn’t been close to the same since.

“This last cycle was rough between the family, the farm deal, and we were done with it,” Zach noted on the aforementioned podcast, referring to the issues with his dad, as Tori emphasized things have been hard of late.

Makes perfect sense to us.

In the finale, Zach doubled down on his hesitency to forge a further relationship with his father.

“When it comes to my dad like yeah, I don’t know dude, like that ship’s all sailed. Like there’s not much of a relationship. It’s just doing our own thing. Time maybe even it out, but everything will be healed. It’ll just — it’ll be different,” he said.

Should ‘LPBW’ Be Canceled With Half The Family Off The Show?

But where does this leave one of the longest-running reality shows in television history?

Zach and Tori quit this season. Jacob Roloff left in 2016. Jeremy Roloff followed with his own departure in 2018.

Matt and Amy Roloff’s fourth child, Molly, never wanted to be a part of the cast and resides in Washington, far away from the spotlight.

Could TLC pick up Little People, Big World for another season?

Could it focus on just Amy and Matt’s relationship? Or Matt’s engagement to Caryn Chandler?

It’s possible. The series remains cost-effective for TLC; very little money goes into production.

We just can’t imagine a great deal of interest in the adults here. Most fans are more invested (by far) in Matt and Amy’s children, none of whom associate any longer with the show.

Little People, Big World debuted all the way back 2006. Overall, it’s incredible it remained on the air this long.

The series has followed the Roloff family through the years living on their Oregon farm as they wrestle with the complexities of dwarfism and daily life issues such as marriage, divorce and coming of age.

Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist: Where Did It All Wrong?

As you may have heard from now, it’s all over for Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist.

In news that should not come as a surprise to anyone at all, the first-ever Golden Bachelor and his brand new wife confirmed on Friday that they were ending their marriage… after just three months.

Turner has even filed for divorce already, officially.

Even for a franchise whose couples never last, not many viewers expected things to fall apart this quickly for Turner and Nist.

“Theresa and I have had a number of heart-to-heart conversations and we’ve looked closely at our situation, our living situation and so forth and we’ve kind of come to the conclusion, mutually, that it’s probably time for us to dissolve our marriage,” Turner explained today on Good Morning America.

The 72-year old and 70-year old exchanged vows in a televised ceremony in January after meeting last fall on the first season of The Golden Bachelor.

They seemed totally in love at the time.

But how often have we said that about men and women who met on either The Bachelorette or The Bachelor?

And how often have those same men and women gone their separate ways?

Seemingly disappointed that they let fans down, Nist said this morning:

“I don’t think we can tell you how many people told us that it gave them so much hope. We want none of that to change for anybody.”

So, what actually happened here?

Where did things fall apart for the smitten senior citizens?

As they say in the real estate business, things apparently came down to LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION.

Turner lives in Indiana. Nist resides in New Jersey. Hence why Turner citing the pair’s living situation in the quote above.

“The thing that strikes me the most in our conversations, it’s been how dedicated both of us are to our families,” Turner also said on GNA.

“So we look at these situations and I think we just feel like it’s best for the happiness of each of us to, to live apart.”

That’s the thing with older people in these sorts of situation; they have kids and grandkids and can’t just up and move far away as a result.

Nist accepted accepted a proposal from Gerry during November’s Golden Bachelor finale, but says now:

“We looked at homes in South Carolina, we considered New Jersey, and we just looked at homes after home, but we never got to the point where we made that decision.”

Seems like something they should have hammered out before actually getting married?

But let’s be honest: Based on the history of this franchise, does anyone think it would have worked out between Turner and Nist anyway?

Ronnie & Sammi FINALLY Reunite on Jersey Shore, & It Was Awkward AF!

At last. Allow us to recap the Ronnie and Sammi reunion episode you’ve all been waiting for!

Following weeks’ worth of suspense and over a decade’s worth of not seeing each other, Samantha “Sammi Sweetheart” Giancola and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro sat down in the same room on the latest episode of Jersey Shore Family Vacation.

The stars, as you likely recall, dated off and on way back when this franchise started.

Then… Ronnie cheated on Sammi, she left the show and recently admitted that it was gonna suck to film with her ex after deciding to make a return.

Cut to Thursday’s installment and Ronnie meeting up with the guys in Nashville, not long after making tearful amends for the way he treated his friends during his substance abuse period.

“The last two years being away was definitely a double-edged sword,” he explained in a confessional, now that he’s clean and sober.

“I was able to focus on myself, doing therapy, parenting classes, AA meetings, a lot of self care.

“But it was hard being away from my family. Now I’m ready to show my roommates I’m becoming a better person.”

Would Sammi care about seeing this new and improved side, however?

“I’m a little nervous to see Sam. We were together for a long time, such long history. Last time we talked it was kind of like, ‘We’re done,’ and that’s it,” Ron added to the camera.

“I think we both have grown. I know I’ve grown, and I’ve matured and I’m hoping me and Sam can have a conversation. We’ll see. I don’t have a plan coming into the house … I’m here to rebuild my relationships with my roommates.

“Me and Sam, we don’t have to be friends, but our history’s so long, there’s going to be that instant feeling of something.”

As for Sammi?

She labeled herself “a ball of emotions” in her own confessional and emphasized how she’s “not looking forward to spending time with this person that has not been a part of my life.”

Her only goal was for them to get to a place where they could “coexist,” stating:

“That’s where it ends. Sam and Ron is from the past.”

From there, the guys went over to the ladies’ rental house and Ronnie gave a sitting Sammi a nod and asked how she was doing.

“It’s so cringe, I’m so embarrassed,” said Snooki of the non-exchange between the exes, as Sammi, back in her own confessional, said she was “being quiet as hell” and didn’t know “where to look” once Ronnie arrived.

“In my head I’m like, get me out of here,” she said, before Vinny called Ron’s arrival the most “awkward moment in Jersey Shore history.”

Jenni, meanwhile, compared the situation to a divorced couple spending the holidays together for the children, despite how much “they f-cking hate each other.”

At dinner that same night, Ronnie and Sammi sat on opposite ends of the table and everyone seemed to be having a blast.

But then Vinny tried to make jokes about Ronnie having been unfaithful and Sammi told him to STFU.

“Vinny’s really ruined it,” she later said in a confessional, toward the end of the episode.

“I have been cool, calm, collected about the whole Ron situation. This is something I don’t take lightly and I feel like I’m gonna explode.”
