And that was the case with her latest round of questions. She started to describe a home remodeling project, but instead of hearing what she had to say, the screen lit up.

Meri Plays With the Fans with “Him” News – Kody Brown?

So, Meri made it obvious that what she has to say isn’t ready for the fans’ ears yet. But she revealed her news behind one of those “Technical Difficulties” messages. The Sister Wives celeb became very animated, but you couldn’t hear a word she said. Or even see her lips to read them.

Once she got that news out of the way, the Sister Wives fans scratched their heads, wondering why all the mystery. But then Meri dropped another interesting bit of info.

She became excited as she started to share something. But then she abruptly stopped. She then conversed with whoever was on the other side of the camera. Meri Brown then asked the unknown person if it was okay to mention this news.

Whatever it was, it obviously got her very excited. But, the decision was not to share it just yet. So, next, she promised the news about “him” will come soon.

That perked up the Sister Wives fans’ ears.  By now, fans heard the excitement in Meri’s voice and watched her get animated over news that she’s seemingly itching to share. But they heard nothing, nothing at all new from all of this.

Kody Brown made quite an impact on reality TV. So, it seems only natural that his polygamous series would collect comparisons. Especially from another show featuring a polygamous lifestyle.

But, unlike Sister Wives, where cameras follow Kody and his four wives, Seeking Sister Wife has a little more variety. Instead of one family’s trials and tribulations, the other show offers three families as examples of polygamy today.

This series covers the search for another wife, the courting stage, and the ordeal of transitioning a new wife into the family. While the Sister Wives fans saw the courting of Robyn Brown, followed by the rather rocky transitioning phase into a wife, that was over a decade ago

That’s Not Us…

Dannielle Merrifield recently rejected a comparison made about her and her husband, Garrick Merrifield, to Kody’s plural marriage. Danielle says that her relationship with her husband resembles nothing at all when it comes to Kody Brown and his once-four wives.

She pointed out that because Kody Brown’s polygamous marriages failed, it isn’t a road map for all other plural marriages. It’s the same case with monogamous marriages, when one fails, it doesn’t mean they all will.

Dannielle was very aware of Kody and his Sister Wives series. She said she started watching the show while still in high school.

While the family is in ruins today, that wasn’t always the case. She suggested the Brown family had a good thing going for many years. Dannielle talked about  Kody and his wives, “I think they had a lot of problems. It’s a lot of work. Relationships are hard”.

Kody and his family came on the reality scene expecting to show the world something. Their message was that polygamous families can live very normal lives. He showed up with his TLC reality show on the heels of polygamy getting a bad name in the news.

Janelle was in her early 20s when Winn set out to find a new husband for her. However, her future father-in-law had his other son in mind. But Janelle had her heart set on Winn’s son, Kody.

Potential for a Good Father

Kody was already married to Meri Brown. So, she too spent time with her husband on his father’s ranch. That’s when Janelle began to hang around with them.

So, the future second wife of the Sister Wives family was smitten with him, but not romantically. He was a good friend, a great conversationalist, and most of all, wonderful with all the kids who came to the ranch.

So, the man who played well with children was the man she wanted as the father of her future kids. And she wanted a slew of them.

They talked about the crystals in this Sister Wives star’s ear being out of alignment. This condition often causes vertigo, called BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo).

According to the Mayo Clinic, “BPPV is caused by loose particles of calcium in the inner ear”. These particles are microscopic crystals that belong in the inner ear. They should be attached to one of the balance organs.

Let us be clear up front:

Everyone is entitled to mourn in their own way, in their own fashion.

We cannot say for sure that is going on in Kody Brown’s head these days, for example, in the recent wake of his son Garrison having committed suicide back on March 4.

Our heart truly goes out to the Sister Wives star.

That said, we must pass along the following report.

According to The Sun, things were rather tense and uncomfortable on March 9 at the memorial service held by the Nevada National Guard.

Last month, photos from this event went viral, with most of the focus centering on Janelle Brown being handed an American Flag by soldiers mourning her son and bawling uncontrollably.

Said photos are heartbreaking.

Now, meanwhile, a new alleged piece of information has leaked about this very sad event.

A source — who was at the funeral, we’d have to assume — told The Sun this week that Kody made things awkward and uncomfortable through his attitude and behavior.

“Kody was standoffish. He was more resistant in mingling,” this insider told this outlet, even adding:

“Robyn encouraged Kody to sit close to Janelle.”

This is bizarre and sort of awful if true.

Garrison was the son of Kody and Janelle. Was he really not sitting close to his grieving ex-spouse? Just because she left him several months ago? Even amid the biggest nightmare one can imagine for her?!?

As has been well documented, Kody is only married to Robyn at this point — and both Christine and Janelle have spoken out how how strongly he loved her over the years.

How his favoritism for Robyn played a role in both women walking away from their plural marriages.

Heck, Christine has said Robyn is sad and pathetic.

So, fast forward to the memorial in March, and…

“It wasn’t good for Robyn either since a lot of the family still has resentment towards her,” The Sun writes.

The source went on to say that the family reunion “was awkward,” but “everyone came together and they supported each other.”

This has at least been a consistent theme that has come out of Garrison Brown’s funeral.

Kody Brown has broken in silence.

Kinda, sorta.

In a matter of speaking.

Just under a month ago, the Sister Wives patriarch lost his son Garrison at the age of 25 after the part-time TLC personality took his own life via a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

It was well-known at the time of this tragedy that Kody was barely on speaking terms with Garrison and his brother, Gabriel, after the father of 17 put his foot down hard amid the COVID-19 outbreak.

Kody forbade his children from hanging out with anyone beyond the family, creating a significant rift between himself and Garrison that lasted until the day the latter died.

Aside from the following joint statement, released along with ex-spouse Janelle Brown, Kody hasn’t said anything about this tragedy:

“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown. He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him.

“His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away.

“We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”

Now, however, an old video Kody sent to a fan on the platform Cameo has resurfaced online.

It’s unclear when it was requested/recorded, but it seems relevant because Brown touches on the topic of grief at the outset of this footage, stating:

“There is nothing that I can say or would be foolish enough to try and say to circumvent your bereavement.

“I am sorry for your loss.”

The reality star goes on to offer the “same advice” he gave to his sister, who we know lost her husband last December.

“The only thing I can say to you is find your bliss and pursue excellence,” Kody says in this Cameo video.

“If you are capable of loving again and finding happiness and bliss again, make yourself the best person you can be. Don’t put pressure on yourself, but maybe challenge yourself.”

Kody then says if he were in that situation of “losing the love of his life,” he would “honor their life by being the greatest person that he could be.”

Interesting to consider at the moment, isn’t it?

“I’m advising my sister to find love again,” Kody concluded back then.

“It happened once, it might’ve happened more than that for you, find love again, find your bliss, pursue excellence. Those are the only things I got for you.”

Garrison, a former serviceman, was found dead inside of his Flagstaff, Arizona apartment on March 5.

In a confessional back in 2022, Janelle expressed serious concern over her son’s lack of connection with his dad as a result of the aforementioned COVID-19 protocols, which barred Kody’s kids from seeing their friends or significant others.

“I have worried about my boys’ mental health. Gabriel feels everything very, very deeply. But he’s also the kid who doesn’t say anything,” Janelle said back then.

She later added that Garrison “just seems angry or sadder, like, he’s not as happy-go-lucky as he used to be.”

Looking ahead, we’ve been told that Sister Wives Season 19 will largely be centered around this horrible tragedy.

While some of the family members came out immediately following his death, others needed some time. But to date, several family members have come forward. They’ve shared their painful moments as they navigate their new world without this much-loved son, brother, and uncle. Kody has remained fairly quiet, but recently an astute fan saw him out and about alone.

Last week, Janelle Brown and the rest of the family surfaced online in pictures from the funeral services. Those pictures captured the despair this Sister Wives mom, who is going through a mother’s worst nightmare.  Kody was also in the funeral photos online.

He sat in the front row during the services. Kody was next to his youngest Sister Wives’ bride, Robyn. In one photo, Kody appears to comfort her.

Janelle Shares Gratitude…

After the services, Janelle remained quiet online. But she broke that silence to share her gratitude to the people who were so generous by donating to the local humane society in Garrison’s name.

Now this weekend, she’s sharing some of the photos seen earlier online of Garrison’s funeral service. Janelle remarked how some of you have probably seen these pictures already. But she added that you’ve seen the posts, “often with snarky comments accompanying them.” Fans think she’s likely referring to some of the awful things said about Kody Brown in the comment sections online.

Several days after the services, Kody Brown was spotted at a Vegas casino. According to the Sister Wives fan who captured the celebrity, Kody was sprinting through the shops at a fast pace. He was going so fast, that the camera only captured the back of him as he ran past the photo-taking fan.

Meri Brown in the Aftermath

Meri Brown is having a rough time, as the loss of Garrison Brown conjures up a double heartache for her. It also stirred those raw feelings from losing her mom as well for this Sister Wives celebrity. She shares that it’s been three weeks since Garrison’s death and three years since her mom’s passing.

Meri writes, “Grief is a myriad of emotions that include despair and anger, feelings of pain, or hopelessness. It’s a universal human emotion and a natural response to loss.” This now-divorced Sister Wives celeb continues, “Grief is also love, for without feeling the love, the pain of loss wouldn’t be so great.”

She returned to do a Fridays with Friends show two weeks ago. This is her online streaming chat fest with Jenn Sullivan as her co-host. But then she missed last Friday night, without any explanation. But Sister Wives fans assume her absence might be due to her grieving process.

She said it is hard to get out of bed in the morning. So, she pushes herself to get up and get back to work. Part of her work includes posting online.

It also looks like David Woolley has been a great comfort to his wife. The funeral pictures show him right next to Christine, supporting her through this awful time. She recently posted how the two of them went on a little trip to Valley of Fire

This place is only about an hour away from their home. So, it looks like they took a much-needed respite.

Robyn Brown is the only spouse from the once-intact plural marriage who hasn’t posted anything about Garrison’s passing online. Besides being pictured at the funeral next to Kody Brown, Robyn has stayed out of the public eye.

Despite the depth of this tragedy, some fans still slammed her in their posts. While Kody saw his fair share as well, it seems many more opted to see him for who he is today. Kody Brown is not just a reality star, he is a father who lost his son.

So, folks seemed to lighten up on the slamming comments about Kody Brown in the past month. But a glance online today seems to suggest that those light comments are short-lived for some of the fans of this TLC series.

The person who posted the photo said Kody was “running” through the shops at the casino. But that’s as far as it went.

A while back, one of the Sister Wives’ adult daughters said that her father and Robyn Brown spent way beyond their means. So, some fans thought that Kody was out doing something he seemed to love to do… shopping.

One of the oddest things recently popped up in a photo about this man who once shared a different woman’s bed every fourth night. Now the fans of this reality series can’t seem to shake off what they see in this picture.

Kody Brown’s choice of woman seems based on his childhood, suggests the Sister Wives fans. One of the commenters went as far as to say “Freud” would likely have something to say about this photo below.

There’s no mistaking Kody in this picture, he’s the kid to the far right. He still has that almost forced smile today that he does in that photo, or so say the Sister Wives fans.

Sister Wives fans especially saw Meri Brown‘s doppelgänger in this photo, one fan thought this was photoshopped. It seems Meri Brown isn’t the only wife who bears a resemblance to one of Kody’s siblings.

Fans Have a Field Day with Kody’s Choices

Sister Wives fans also see a resemblance to Christine Brown and Janelle Brown among his family. One person jokingly said that Kody Brown divorced all his wives who looked like his sisters.

But he stayed with the one wife who resembled his mother. So, it seems they see Robyn Brown looking similar to his mom. Another thing fans pointed out is the uncanny resemblance that Kody’s kids have to his family.

So the comments keep coming regarding the family that Kody Brown grew up with. When you look at Kody, who looks about 12 in the picture, you can see where several of his 15 biological kids got their looks.

When Kody Brown took his four Sister Wives brides to meet his childhood friends, they filled in some of the mysteries about their shared husband. His friends told his wives that Kody needed to be the center of attention.

That is why when they all found out about his switch to polygamy, they understood. They felt that this lifestyle would feed his need for attention.

The Sister Wives ladies weren’t too happy to hear this, but they sat quietly and listened. Then this visit got a bit uncomfortable for Kody and his wives.

Kody’s childhood sweetheart spilled on some of his wooing antics as a teenager. She demonstrated how Kody would rub her upper arm and shoulder. In the video above, his teenage girlfriend showed his wives their shared husband’s moves from yesteryear.

But the main thing to come out of this visit was Kody Brown’s appetite to be seen and heard. So, when his childhood friends saw him on the TLC series, they were surprised, but not overly so.

Janelle Brown accepted the folded American flag from the National Guard as a tribute to Garrison. One of the photos posted today showed Kody Brown and Robyn Brown sitting down a ways from Janelle in the first row.

Next to the Sister Wives patriarch and Robyn, sat David Woolley and his wife, Christine Woolley Brown. As you can see in the photo above, the parents are surrounded by their kids.

But you might have noticed something else among the family. They did something as a tribute to Garrison‘s memory.

Robyn Joined In – But Did Kody?

Garrison sold a clothing line. The articles of clothing were all floral prints. Many of the family members were among his customers at one time.

Garrison even used the picture below, where he is at the grill with Kody and Gabriel Brown, as one of his advertising photos on his site for Bob’s Floral Shirts.

As a tribute to Garrison, many family members wore his floral shirts and other items to his funeral. It looks like there are quite a few floral ties in the photo. Robyn also wears a floral dress in the picture taken at the funeral.

It is not known if this is one of the designs that Garrison sold. But it certainly falls in line with the tribute. It looks like Kody Brown wears a floral shirt under his jacket, but it’s hard to tell.

Sister Wives: Family Comes Together…

Despite any differences the Sister Wives family members might have, it looks like it was all pushed aside to honor Garrison Brown. A few of his siblings commented on how happy he would have been to see everyone together again.

Many fans had Gabe Brown in mind when commenting on the funeral pictures. He found his brother deceased, and the police reports mentioned how devastated he was.

At one point, the police report indicated the morning he found his brother, Gabriel Brown left with another Sister Wives family member to go pick up his father. He was due to bring him back to his brother’s house. But the report said Gabe returned alone.

Robyn & Kody’s Home Visit

Then another report a few days later said that the Flagstaff CARE team visited the home of Kody and Robyn.

This is an arm of first responders that answer certain calls. When a 911 call is best suited for mental health professionals to answer, the CARE team is dispatched. The team consists of a mental health professional and an EMT.

It’s not known who the team went out to see, as nothing else ever surfaced about it. Still, this son, brother, and uncle’s death took a toll on every family member. Some of the adult Sister Wives kids mentioned this in their recent posts.

This family has graced the screen for over a decade with their TLC series. So their many followers sent their condolences online.

In first photos of the family since Garrison Brown’s death, the Sister Wives stars openly wept at a memorial service in his honor.

Garrison’s parents, all of this siblings, and the other mother figures in Garrison’s life gathered together to honor him at a special memorial service put on by the Nevada National Guard.

The photos are heartbreaking, but they at least show the unity of his family.

In photos posted to the Nevada National Guard’s Facebook page on Monday March 25, Garrison’s parents Janelle and Kody Brown, are joined by Kody’s current wife Robyn as well as his other two ex wives, Robyn and Meri, and his grandmother.

Janelle is seated next to her son, Hunter Brown, followed by Kody’s mother, Genielle. To her right, sits Robyn and Kody. For whatever reason, Janelle and Kody did not sit together; he sat alongside David Woolley, Christine’s new husband, and Christine.

Meri can be see sitting across the front row aisle from Janelle, along with some of Garrison’s other brothers and sisters, including Mykelti and her husband Tony.

In fact, nearly all of the Kody’s 17 other children were in attendance of the special event in Las Vegas.

A Special Honor For Janelle

During the service, Garrison was remembered for his work as a Staff Sergeant in the Army National Guard and a proud CAV Scout. In their dedication on Facebook, the Guard pointed out that Garrison “exemplified dedication to his country. He also had a caring nature, pursuing a career in nursing to help others.”

Janelle received the burial flag after soldiers performed the flag folding ceremony in Garrison’s honor.

In the obituary for Garrison by the guard, he was remembered as “a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, was born to Janelle and Kody Brown, and was the sixth child of a large family. He is survived by his family and three cats, Catthew, Patches, and Ms. Buttons.”

Garrison’s Family Funeral

According to an Instagram post shared by Garrison’s cousin, Emma, the funeral took place back on March 9, four days after the Sister Wives star committed suicide in Flagstaff, Arizona.

The show offers a new hero image for this popular reality show. After discovering this in a recent online search, the change seems drastic to fans.

So, instead of the traditional photo of the man with ringlets, and his four wives looking back at you, TLC changed it. Now fans think it’s a glimpse of things to come.

Sister Wives Search – Not Kody Brown, It’s David Woolley

David Woolley replaced Kody Brown when it came to a husband for Christine Brown. But now it looks like this new couple highlights the whole kit-and-caboodle for the TLC series.

So, when you click Sister Wives for Discovery Plus, TLC Go, and TLC.com, Kody is no longer part of the hero image. Instead, by entering “Sister Wives” in Google, you inevitably get David and Christine’s picture for the show’s landing page.

How Kody Brown feels about being replaced by David Woolley in this image is unknown. But fans think they know how he feels about David replacing him in the arms of Christine.

His third wife leaving him did a number on the Sister Wives patriarch. He came out swinging, saying he never loved wife number three. For that matter, he claimed he never loved any of them, except for Robyn Brown. But some fans believe differently.

TLC Hears Fans Wishes – Kody Vs. David?

Since the demise of the Sister Wives marriages, TLC fans have called upon the network to continue with the series, but with some major changes. After the way Kody treated his wives last season, Kody’s popularity seemed to tank. Sister Wives celebrity Kody Brown went from a fountain of information on social media to an abrupt halt as his popularity slowly diminished due to his behaviors on the TLC series. Over a decade ago, this man with a head of golden ringlets made his television debut with three wives and one waiting in the wings.

Curiosity drew viewers into a reality show about polygamy, but once they warmed up to Kody, they kept coming back. But as the seasons rolled out, a different story unraveled for the man who relied heavily on his multiplication motto for love.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown Changed Opinions… At First

TLC built up this first-of-its-kind reality show, starring Kody Brown, in the months leading up to Sister Wives Season 1. After weeks of promos and teasers, this show collected many curious viewers who tuned in to see how one man navigates multiple wives.

While Kody was old school in many ways, he also had some endearing qualities that slowly changed the fans’ thoughts on polygamy. It’s not that the Sister Wives patriarch enticed others to marry a group of spouses. No, that wasn’t his mission.

Instead, at least for the first few seasons, he had success with what he set out to do. Kody wanted to show the world that his family was not much different from other families. The only difference was that he had a few wives. The kids seemed well-rounded and as time went on, they grew into happy, productive, adults.

The Sister Wives’ fans saw Kody as a caring husband and a proud papa of 18 kids.  But then something happened when it came to being a caring husband.

Kody Brown was considered an attractive man by some of the Sister Wives fans during the first several seasons. Some women even swooned over this husband of four. Still, critics popped up, but they were few and far between if you consider the criticism he gets today.

This includes the announcements of his wives leaving him. They stack up one by one. The price of fame is easy to see with just a glance at Kody Brown’s online posts. There are no more happy times suggested. Not even one photo of him pampering his hair like yesteryear.

But that doesn’t stop fans from making up their little blurbs to post, like the one below referring to Robyn Brown getting tired of fans putting her together with Kody.

He likely stopped posting because Sister Wives fans were brutally honest in their thoughts about him in the comment sections. Many viewers’ words reflected some of the things he said and did on the show. So, Kody Brown opened up his life for the world to see. But that came with a hefty price.

Unlike his ex-wives who share some fun things about their daily activities in posts, Kody’s last few posts center on some dreadful things in his life. So, he has fame today, but the awful comments came along with that.

Sister Wives fans assume these bashing comments are likely the culprits that keep him from posting today, except only when he has to. His posts are in tandem with his ex-wives, who announced their split from Kody. And then the most difficult post of them all, the loss of their son.  So, his site is starting to look like a page of nothing but sadness for the TLC star.
