Kody Brown and his remaining wife, Robyn Brown, have stayed out of sight since the curtain went down on the last season. A few astute Sister Wives fans managed to capture a photo or two of the elusive couple.

But for most of these photos, you would need a magnifying glass to spot any resemblance. Kody doesn’t seem to stand still for too long while tooting around in public these days.

Well, at least not long enough for a Sister Wives fan to grab a photo that shows his face. One of the latest photos circulating online captures the back of Kody Brown.

The fan who captured a picture of Kody from behind describes him as sprinting through shops in a casino. Robyn was nowhere in sight at the time.

So, some fans think this flitting around avoiding the camera lens might have something to do with Kody and Robyn Brown’s grand scheme.

Kody & Robyn – Too Quiet

Not long ago, the Sister Wives family’s adult children came out of the woodwork with their online venues on social media. They offered little quips about what’s up within the family.

Tony Padron and Mykelti Brown Padron were a fountain of information regarding Robyn and Kody. Kody and his youngest wife remain eerily quiet between the last season and the one in the works today.

But Mykelti and Tony dropped a hint that might explain what’s up with this. The Sister Wives patriarch and Robyn might have some behind-the-scenes help.

Mykelti and Tony touched on Robyn’s comfort level around filming the show. According to Tony, Robyn doesn’t like being on camera. But what she hates even more is those segments that replaced the season finale “tell all” episodes.

It is excruciatingly painful for Robyn to watch scenes from the season and then have to talk about them on camera. Both Mykelti and Tony agreed that this is something she despises.

Robyn didn’t always hate the limelight, a few of the things on her bucket list suggest she was seeking fame. Plus, she knew about the Sister Wives series getting ready to film when she first showed up on Kody’s radar.

Robyn Brown once explained coming into this family and the minefield she navigated to get there. With the TLC network scooping up Sister Wives, Robyn details how folks in production wanted to start the series.

She gave her perspective in the best-selling book penned by the five spouses a few years back. The idea was to roll out Sister Wives with Kody Brown marrying his fourth wife, Robyn. But, Robyn reports she wouldn’t hear of it.

She wasn’t about to come into this established family and steal the limelight from the other wives. But they didn’t have the money for a huge wedding, so she said they had to wait anyway.

Robyn Agreed to Disregard Traditional Polygamy Wedding

Money was tight that year, so TLC paid for the event, making Robyn very happy. But she explained, her happiness was only because this is what Kody wanted.

Polygamy marriages are simple and quiet, she explained. But Kody always wanted a big celebration, so she was fine with that.

But first, out of compassion for the other wives, Robyn Brown would not let her marriage take the lead in the opening of this series. Still, some fans argue that’s pretty-much how the Sister Wives opened up their first season.

Granted, they married in the first season finale, but the entire season was all about the dress, the ring, and the wedding venue. So, the way she explained it sounded good.

But the Sister Wives fans remember this differently. To many, the first season was all about Robyn Brown’s preparations for the wedding, and then the marriage event closed out the season.

Sister Wives: Spooked by the Woods

One of the other stories that took up a lot of space in the comments online was Robyn Brown’s fear of the woods. Before the Sister Wives family purchased Coyote Pass, that vacant mass of dreams sitting and still waiting, they looked at other building lots.

One of the favorites for the other wives was building lots for sale in Cottonwood. Unlike Coyote Pass, this land was mostly wooded and shaded. This was a draw to a couple of the Sister Wives ladies. But Robyn couldn’t live there.

Robyn then told the story about when she was a youngster and lived in a wooded area. Well, a wildfire broke out, scaring the heck out of her. She was traumatized. While her family weathered this awful event safely, the woods in Cottonwood brought it back for her.

So, the Sister Wives family moved on and purchased land on Coyote Pass with lots of open sky. Then it happened, Kody and Robyn needed a new house before they could build on Coyote Pass. That’s when they purchased the million-dollar home they live in now.

But fans couldn’t believe what they saw when the first photos of their new place were posted. It is in a wooded area, just like the area that spooked her at the Cottonwood lots. So, today, some fans wonder if she got over that trauma now that she’s living among the trees. Or if that was a handy way to get out of moving to a place she wasn’t too fond of.

Sister Wives: Tony Padron Friction Early On with Christine Brown

Tony Padron is a man who says what he is thinking. Christine Brown commented on this last season. Much like Kody Brown, his father-in-law, the two of them seem to bypass that filter that keeps unsettling thoughts from forming into words.

When Tony first came on the Sister Wives scene as Mykelti’s future husband, he said a few things that fans found a bit crass. When discussing the food for their wedding, he said something negative about Christine’s cooking, which viewers felt was not called for.

Veteran Sister Wives fans likely won’t forget those famous few scenes of Tony and Mykelti inviting 400 wedding guests. But the kicker was that Tony insisted on real street tacos instead of the kind Christine Brown made. Whether he meant to diss Christine or not, fans took it as he criticized her cooking back then.

Mykelti Brown explained her relationship with Robyn Brown as they each needed a friend years ago, and they fit that bill for each other. Robyn felt like an outcast among the Sister Wives family.

At the same time, Mykelti said she felt like an outcast around her siblings. So, when Robyn first moved to Utah in her own home, Mykelti stayed there with Robyn Brown to help her with her kids. Mykelti also found a friend in Robyn, and that friendship is still strong today.

Tony also seems to have a strong friendship with Robyn. But where he stands with Christine is a mystery. He had things to say about his mother-in-law when she first started the dating scene.

This was long before David Woolley was on her radar. It’s hard to decipher sometimes if Tony’s flippant remarks are meant to be jokes. But to many Sister Wives fans, he goes too far. Still, they say the same thing about Mykelti as well.

Sister Wives stars Kody Brown and Robyn Brown attended Garrison Brown‘s funeral with the rest of the family, made famous from their TLC series. The funeral pictures also show a beautiful tribute to the 25-year-old, who died at the beginning of this month.

Janelle Brown accepted the folded American flag from the National Guard as a tribute to Garrison. One of the photos posted today showed Kody Brown and Robyn Brown sitting down a ways from Janelle in the first row.

Next to the Sister Wives patriarch and Robyn, sat David Woolley and his wife, Christine Woolley Brown. As you can see in the photo above, the parents are surrounded by their kids.

But you might have noticed something else among the family. They did something as a tribute to Garrison‘s memory.

Robyn Joined In – But Did Kody?

Garrison sold a clothing line. The articles of clothing were all floral prints. Many of the family members were among his customers at one time.

Garrison even used the picture below, where he is at the grill with Kody and Gabriel Brown, as one of his advertising photos on his site for Bob’s Floral Shirts.

As a tribute to Garrison, many family members wore his floral shirts and other items to his funeral. It looks like there are quite a few floral ties in the photo. Robyn also wears a floral dress in the picture taken at the funeral.

It is not known if this is one of the designs that Garrison sold. But it certainly falls in line with the tribute. It looks like Kody Brown wears a floral shirt under his jacket, but it’s hard to tell.

Sister Wives: Family Comes Together…

Despite any differences the Sister Wives family members might have, it looks like it was all pushed aside to honor Garrison Brown. A few of his siblings commented on how happy he would have been to see everyone together again.

Many fans had Gabe Brown in mind when commenting on the funeral pictures. He found his brother deceased, and the police reports mentioned how devastated he was.

At one point, the police report indicated the morning he found his brother, Gabriel Brown left with another Sister Wives family member to go pick up his father. He was due to bring him back to his brother’s house. But the report said Gabe returned alone.

Robyn & Kody’s Home Visit

Then another report a few days later said that the Flagstaff CARE team visited the home of Kody and Robyn.

This is an arm of first responders that answer certain calls. When a 911 call is best suited for mental health professionals to answer, the CARE team is dispatched. The team consists of a mental health professional and an EMT.

It’s not known who the team went out to see, as nothing else ever surfaced about it. Still, this son, brother, and uncle’s death took a toll on every family member. Some of the adult Sister Wives kids mentioned this in their recent posts.

This family has graced the screen for over a decade with their TLC series. So their many followers sent their condolences online.

In one from several years back, she talks about strong women. So, this was meant to be an uplifting message, but fans jumped on the comment section suggesting she get a job. That went along with more bashing as well.

Many of the negative comments had nothing to do with the post they were left on. But it seems like the Sister Wives fans took advantage of any place they could find to get a message across to Robyn Brown.

In the early days, when Kody Brown had only three wives, it sounded like a different Sister Wives world. Despite the friction when wives number two and three came on board, the ladies said they worked it out. But that didn’t happen when Robyn Brown stepped into the picture.

Before the fourth wife, they all lived under one roof. But each had a separate apartment for themselves and their kids. This allowed Kody to spend time with all his kids daily, no matter which wife’s bedroom he’d be sleeping in that night.

They all shared child care, with Christine Brown opting to be the stay-at-home mom for Meri Brown and Janelle Brown‘s kids as well as her own. These three original Sister Wives brides had their problems, but they reported that back then, they were manageable.

They said there was a little animosity regarding Kody’s time, but very little. He mostly shared his time equally with the trio. These reports of harmony between the three original wives from the Sister Wives came from a book the adults penned several years back.

Robyn Shows Up and Things Go Down Hill… Really?

You have heard it before from the other wives. They described how Robyn changed the dynamics of the Sister Wives family. But you’ve heard Kody and Robyn Brown deny this. Still, things have come up through the years that raised questions for some fans about Robyn causing all the problems.

Despite all the bashing online for wife number four, there are still some viewers who don’t see her as the wife who wrecked their home.

So, it seems like that book suggests that things ran well before wife number four graced their doorstep. But things popped up through the years that suggested that wasn’t true. We’ve heard time and time again how Kody was a great father until Robyn and her kids took up his time.

Plus, Christine watched all the other kids so Meri and Janelle could work. Why wouldn’t Kody, Meri, or Janelle, help put Christine’s kids to bed?

The wives would bicker, and the proverbial fur would fly. It trickled down to the kids, many of whom as adults accuse Meri of being mean. Maddie Brown Brush even suggested she lived with a monster. Robyn Brown wasn’t there for any of this. So, it sounds like she didn’t walk into a paradise.

Kody Brown’s Behavior Festered Jealousy in His Original Three Wives?

When Robyn Brown came into the family, what likely happened was jealousy took over. The three other wives admitted they were jealous of this new wife, who had all of Kody’s attention. Christine even once said she wanted what Robyn had with Kody.

So, Robyn stirring up the jealousy is understandable. She was pretty, new, and younger than the other Sister Wives brides. So while she might have been the source of their jealousy, Kody was the one who made her that source, with his attention focused on his new bride.

As far as a functional family? Well, what we saw on the Sister Wives show in the beginning sure looked like it. But once Robyn was in the mix, the tears flowed and it was a mess. So, she said she had no idea the other wives weren’t thrilled about her marrying Kody.

While Robyn Brown’s presence riffled up the inner workings of that family, some fans think she got a bad rap. It seems there was plenty of dysfunction inside that family before she came along. Whatever the folks from behind the scenes did to change things, the ratings indicated they did something right. Reports put this last season with “sky-high” ratings. And social media saw plenty of thank yous to TLC for easing up on the editing.

Tony says Robyn hates being on the show. But what she hates even more is when she has to watch a scene and comment on it with the Sister Wives cameras rolling.

It seems Robyn Brown hates her job. From what the Sister Wives fans see on the show, this seems to be the only job she has or has had in more than a decade. That’s letting the cameras film her life as it unfolds.

Is Robyn Tortured By All Aspects of Stardom – Except the Money?

Tony Padron can’t emphasize enough how Robyn can’t stand the life of being a Sister Wives reality star. But fans chime in to comment that she’s not mentioning the money aspect.

She’s living in a lavish home and seems to have all the bobbles that money has to offer, like the finest cars. Not to mention that Robyn Brown signed up for this Sister Wives lifestyle with the cameras infiltrating her life. And each time her contract ended, she re-upped with the rest of the Sister Wives family.

Plus, fans remind her that she can just quit. Once her contract is up, why not just leave, they suggest. Then Mykelti brings up the topic of a PR firm, which gets Tony thinking about how that would work. Or, in this case, wouldn’t work.

Sister Wives: Tony Ponders What a PR Firm Could Do

Season 19 of the Sister Wives series is already filming. So, it’s probably safe to say that Robyn found a way to stomach another season. Mykelti hints at the possibility of a PR firm onboard for Kody Brown and Robyn Brown.

While she didn’t say if this Sister Wives couple is using one or not, Tony Padron thought it would do no good. He couldn’t imagine how any type of public relations professional could help them. He went as far as to say even if they were an amazing PR firm, there’s not much they could do to help.

Mykelti chimes in with some ideas, like teaching her father and Robyn how to talk at interviews. Tony still thinks this won’t work after all that’s been seen and said on Sister Wives. But maybe they did hire a firm to help them. That said, since the last season came to a close, some fans think that Kody Brown still lives rent-free in his three ex-wives heads.

Silent Treatment Now in Process?

All three ex-wives have either mentioned Kody by name or alluded to him since Sister Wives went on hiatus between seasons. Their references to and about Kody weren’t very nice.

It’s still going on, with Meri Brown mentioning him as recently as last Friday during her online show. Meri made a quick mention of her ex-husband in a sarcastic four-letter word spoof on Fridays with Friends.

Not too long ago, Janelle Brown suggested Christine Brown is still healing from the wounds inflicted by Kody. And fans suggested that Christine Brown went overboard with the Kody bashing, even after she remarried.

But, Kody Brown remains tucked away from the public and hasn’t offered retaliation of any type toward the three ladies. Now, that might be something a public relations firm might suggest that he and Robyn do. They might tell them not to bite back.

With Robyn, that’s a no-brainer. She is the one Sister Wives star who stays away from social media. Fans suggest if anyone needed some damage control, it’s Robyn Brown.

Some fans joke that a PR company might find a way to get her to clean up her house. Above are a couple of recent photos from inside Robyn Brown’s high-end estate. Robyn Brown is far from the fan-favorite today if the online comments from viewers are any indication. So, one might expect her to attempt some damage control.

Social media would allow Robyn access to millions of Sister Wives fans. So she could start that long journey back by posting something positive. But no, instead, this recently discovered message felt rather attacking to the people who got a look at it.

So, Robyn wasn’t following that adage suggesting you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Where she placed this message also seemed very odd to the viewers of the show as well.

Robyn’s Message in an Inconspicuous Place?

Instead of Robyn Brown posting an ordinary message to her Sister Wives fans where most people do, she put it in a place where you wouldn’t just stumble upon it.

Robyn Brown put this go-away-like warning in the biography section of her page. Robyn wrote: “Followers: Go find purpose in your own life and stop wasting your precious time with mine.” Ouch… that sounds like it had a bite to it.

Of course, Robyn remains as the only Sister Wives wife, as the other three jumped ship in the last couple of years. So, she’s left all alone with Kody Brown, who still openly mourns his three divorces. Even though her co-wives no longer share Robyn’s husband, she’s still hearing all about them from her Kody as he nurses his wounds.

During the last season, TLC seemed to take away the heavy editing they used through the years. Many things that Robyn Brown said or did weren’t edited, and it played out on the screen.

Sister Wives star Meri Brown did something that has Robyn Brown written all over it during a live interview this week outside of her TLC series. At first, jaws dropped, but then it became so obvious that she was doing her best rendition of Robyn in one of her most memorable scenes this season.

What the first wife of the now defunct Sister Wives family did was certainly a surprise. Meri Brown’s setting was her Friday with Friends show. But this week, the format was different. Her BFF Jenn Sullivan interviewed both her and her new boyfriend, Amos Andrews.

At one point, Meri pulled a real Robyn move, and Jenn broke out in hysterical laughter. But it looked as if Amos had no idea what was going on as his new girlfriend made a few moves on him.

These turned out to be the same moves Robyn Brown made on Kody Brown last season that riled up Sister Wives fans.

Amos didn’t seem to have a clue that he helped Meri Brown mock Robyn and Kody Brown in a scene from the Sister Wives show. While neither Jenn nor Meri said anything about it, fans got the private joke.

Robyn’s Famous Scene Gets Do-Over

Jenn interviewed Amos and Meri, but the two ladies became silly, as they often do during this venue. Amos seemed like a good sport, despite being an outsider in some private jokes between the two.

Jenn asked Amos all kinds of questions, including if he was a relative of the Sister Wives star, Kody Brown. That was a big “no” on his part. But then he was asked a very generic question and suddenly Meri made a Robyn move on Amos.

Remember during the Sister Wives wedding special when Robyn grabbed Kody’s face? At the time, Robyn caught him about to say something that sounded negative about Christine Brown.

Then during another scene, Robyn smashed her lips into Kody to shut him up again. Well, it looked like Meri took a page out of Robyn’s book just as Amos was about to answer a question.

Jenn asked him to name his favorite shape. He thought a minute and said, “Circle.” That was such a strange question because fans weren’t interested in knowing that. But it seemed to be a cue for Meri Brown, who broke out in a Sister Wives scene.

Just like Robyn Brown did on Sister Wives, Meri covered her boyfriend’s mouth. She told him that he couldn’t say that.

Next, she slammed her face into his and planted a long kiss on his lips, again, just like her co-wife. She was so forceful, that she even pushed Amos back into his chair. She also repeated, “You can’t say that” much like what Robyn Brown did during her scenes of shutting up Kody Brown.

Meri’s skit came right off the Sister Wives screen. Her mimicking behavior looked like she was making fun of Robyn and Kody Brown.

But besides that, Meri let fans get to know her new guy. Fans learned that Amos Andrews was married three times, not four, as the original reports noted.

They also learned that 25 years ago, just like Meri Brown, he claimed bankruptcy. But no one, including Meri, Jenn, or the Sister Wives fans cared about that report.

The only thing it proved was that Meri’s new guy is like millions of other Americans. There’s nothing unique about having a bankruptcy and a few marriages under his belt.

But when she made her quick and forceful move on an unsuspecting Amos, fans knew right away what this was. This was too coincidental for it not to be an ode to Robyn Brown’s treatment of her husband.

Kody is fresh off the polygamy wagon, so some fans see him as a man who does not know how to navigate as he goes forward. Now it appears that he looks to Robyn for guidance, but many fans think this works against him.

Sister Wives: Sticking Up for Kody Brown… That’s a Switch

You’d be hard-pressed to find a fan to side with Kody Brown against any one of his past wives. But that doesn’t seem to be the case when it comes to his present wife, Robyn Brown.

During the last half of Sister Wives Season 18, including the wedding special, fans saw a huge shift for Kody. When he’s with Robyn, he appears to turn to her for approval after talking to the camera.

Then viewers noted that it looked as if watched her face for signs of disapproval as he talked into the Sister Wives camera. And… that sign emerged on Robyn. She looked very disgruntled a couple of times at the words forming in her husband’s mouth.

Fans describe Robyn as controlling after watching her getting a bit forceful during the last couple of Sister Wives episodes. She even became physically aggressive while trying to get her husband to shut up. She put her hands over his mouth in one incident.

Another time, she smashed her lips into his to stop him mid-sentence. Fans chimed in to say that Robyn needed to stop putting her hands on him while trying to control him.

Kody Lost His Way – Now Robyn Brown Guides Him?

Looking back, you can see the important roles that Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, and Christine Brown, played in Kody Brown’s life. Janelle grounded him. She and Kody pretty much ran the financial business for the family.

Christine barked about being slighted because he didn’t spend a fair amount of time with her. But her anger over this seemed to serve a major purpose for all the wives. She gave him a push.

It kept him in check and on the go, moving from one wife’s house to the next. While Robyn boasts that she “speaks Kody,” many fans see Meri Brown as the one who understood him the best.

Despite him denying this, Meri seemed to understand the reasons behind a lot of his controversial behavior. So, Kody lost a good deal of his compass. He may have claimed to be the leader of the pack, but there was a lot of influence from his three ex-wives.

Fans suggest that with the other three wives gone, Robyn humiliates Kody with her controlling antics. But they also think that he doesn’t realize this. That Sister Wives scene, the one where Robyn covers his mouth, got some fans raging mad.

But others suggested if the other women were still his wives, then Robyn would likely experience friction coming from her co-wives. Kody Brown had three cheerleaders in his corner for a very long time. That started to fade around the time he became that guy spouting off disparaging remarks about his three original wives on camera.

To say that Christine Brown enjoyed her wedding day is a huge understatement. Her joy radiated out through the guests. That said, even the fans at home in front of their TV sets felt the love surrounding her and David Woolley. Some of the fans admitted to shedding tears of happiness while watching certain scenes.

Some watching the second part of the Sister Wives wedding special say they became astounded by some of the antics of the bride. Namely, her impromptu lap dance for the groom.

Even Janelle Brown said she realized she was looking at something that shocked her. But Janelle, being Janelle Brown, said, it was her wedding. So she sat back and laughed with the rest of the guests at this Sister Wives grand affair.

Christine Brown also knew she went a bit too far. She noticed that it was too much for a few of her kids. Plus, she probably saw Janelle Brown’s face turn red as well. But she came out and said that she didn’t care. So, once the initial shock of her risqué move wore off, guests seemed to have a great time watching her.

But it was something that Christine said that now seems to lead back to something Robyn holds sacred. She talked about it many times on Sister Wives. And no, it’s not Kody Brown.

Robyn Brown Cried Over This…

In the last few Sister Wives seasons, Robyn seemed to be on a sobbing rampage over the disconnection she felt from the rest of the family. But while it bothered her to feel left out, Robyn mostly felt this pain for her kids.

The mother of five seemed to blame Christine Brown for robbing her kids of a chance to grow up in a plural marriage. She never experienced what the other three wives had had in this Sister Wives family.

But Robyn seemed to place the blame on everyone else besides herself and Kody. She pinpointed Christine since she was the first to pack up and leave. But Robyn Brown showed up on the screen numerous times, complaining that her kids missed out on the joys of plural marriage.

In Season 18, Christine said how she would love to continue her relationships with all the kids. She threw a party after she had left the family and wanted to invite Robyn’s kids, but because of the strain between them, she felt it was best that she didn’t.

Then Robyn Brown put herself in the middle of the siblings’ Christmas gift exchange and conjured up some hard feelings. So, when her daughters came on the screen in a confessional, they pretty much echoed their mother’s words. They felt estranged from the family but didn’t know why.

Sister Wives: Christine’s Reference to ’13 Kids’ Seen as Jab to Robyn

In one of her many confessionals in Season 18, Christine talked about her marriage to David and how the kids were handling it. The Sister Wives family consists of 18 kids. Christine has six, Janelle has six, Meri has one, and Robyn has five children.

So the bride said to the camera that “all 13 of my kids are very protective of me.” But she likely meant the 13 kids that she had a major hand in raising. She was the stay-at-home mom as Janelle and Meri hit the workforce in the early days of Sister Wives.

This was before Robyn Brown entered the family with three kids from a previous marriage. Then the two born to her and Kody, rounding out to five altogether. So, Christine considered the thirteen kids as hers, just like Janelle and Meri did when bringing them up.

But saying that her “13” children were protective of her was true, although it was seen as a dig at Robyn Brown. To some Sister Wives viewers, it may look like the bride left out Robyn Brown’s kids purposely for a jab at her ex-co-wife. Although in all fairness, the other five children are not protective of Christine, so if she said 18 kids were protective of her, well that would likely open another can of worms.

But just like Janelle and Meri, Christine Brown considered herself a mom of those 13 kids. And since she never got as close with Robyn’s kids, it wouldn’t be correct to say all of my 18 kids are protective of me.

Janelle – Clean Up on Best Friend’s Aisle?

Janelle Brown had something to say in the wedding finale episode. This may or may not have to do with Christine’s line about her 13 kids. Robyn Brown has been very vocal about her kids being slighted by the family’s demise. She’s also been called an overprotective mother through the Sister Wives seasons.

Now it’s like another family forms without Kody Brown or Robyn Brown as part of it. Now Janelle Brown shares how at this wedding, with everyone there, it feels like they are “whole.” She also said that it feels as if the family still has an”identity”.

Some of the players have changed. But it sounds like Janelle sees herself, along with Christine, David, and all their kids coming together as a family. But they don’t shut anyone out. Janelle Brown made it clear that won’t happen. She said if any of the kids who weren’t part of this wanted to join them, they’d be very much welcome.

So, it sounds like maybe Janelle attempted to smooth over Christine Brown’s 13 kids comment. But it could have been nothing more than a coincidence. But Christine has said in the past on Sister Wives that she’d welcome Robyn’s kids at family functions.

So, while some fans think the 13-kid mention was a dig from the bride, it was nothing more than the way it is. Robyn Brown’s kids aren’t protective of Christine Brown or, for that matter, Janelle Brown as well. But both these mothers would welcome those kids who Sister Wives fans got to know from the TLC series.

Sister Wives star Robyn Brown appeared in the first part of the TLC wedding special, but when she pops up again for the second part, it looks like she’s working some kind of strategy.

Sister Wives: Robyn Brown In Real-Time

Robyn Brown appeared in the episode dedicated to Christine Brown‘s wedding, despite not being invited to the event. All the spouses who made up the Sister Wives series showed up on the screen as well. But Janelle was the only one with Christine on her special day out of the five adults who made up this now-defunct plural marriage.

Still, the others showed up from a remote location, and they appeared on-screen to comment on the wedding event. When Sister Wives Season 18 rolled out several weeks ago, what viewers saw was filmed more than a year ago.

But Christine Brown married David Woolley in October, only a few months ago. So, once the Sister Wives crew filmed and edited the footage from her wedding special, it was much closer to real-time than the rest of the season.

This means what you see on the screen over this two-part special is very recent. More so than what the Sister Wives fans are used to. Usually, you see things a year or so after they happen. So, when Robyn Brown speaks, you hear her talking from a mindset that’s likely still with her today.

Plus, Robyn Brown’s antics in the second half of this two-part episode seem to change. She fluffs up things a bit and even attempts comedy. Like when she lip-locks Kody while swiping her hand toward the camera to go away.

Something Changes For Robyn

During the Sister Wives wedding special, Robyn continued to display her sobbing in scenes. Fans are so used to these behaviors by now. So, lately, they seem to dedicate less social media space to her signature boohooing.

In a recent interview, the youngest of the Sister Wives brides seems to send a message about her beloved Kody Brown. Now that he’s lived without his other three wives for a while, Robyn Brown suggests the smoke is clearing.

She casually explains this by saying she’s seeing glimpses of the man she married. In this new interview, she says, “I do see the man that I married from time to time. Then Robyn adds how she sees the old Kody more as he processes his new situation in life.

But it doesn’t sound as if she’s worried. She also said, “I just know this is a temporary situation where he’s just dealing with a lot.” So gone are the sniffles and moans like we saw when she discussed the self-sabotaging Kody did to her marriage.

In its place, Robyn appears to see a light at the end of the very dark tunnel for Kody. Still, you have to wonder how Robyn and Kody feel about playing second fiddle during this week and next week’s upcoming show. But if you think about what she’s saying, it looks as if a new strategy unfolds for the only Sister Wives couple.

Sister Wives: Change of Battle Plans?

Robyn Brown and her once-shared husband are well aware by now of how popular Christine Brown has become since jumping ship. Her marriage to David Woolley not only has one week, but two weeks of episodes dedicated to their special day on Sister Wives.

The other Sister Wives adults are merely guests on the episode, but not wedding guests. They offer a narrative of this big event.  So, as they take the backseat to Christine and her groom, they have to wonder about the future of their TLC series. Especially with the chorus of fans online singing loudly for a spinoff with Robyn and her husband left out.

So, it looks like Kody’s recent MO of keeping the fans entertained and disturbed at the same time is not working. It seems his reactions to the ladies became so volatile that he’s lost his gift of enticing fans in for more. This could prompt Robyn to change direction, which is what it sounds like she’s doing when it comes to Kody.

Now it seems Robyn suggests that Kody is slowly morphing into the old Kody Brown. That’s the man who the fans found more tolerable than the guy they saw in the last few seasons. So, it looks as if Robyn is paving the way for that good old-fashioned Kody Brown to return.

Perhaps this is their attempt at securing the show’s longevity, with the two of them taking their places at the helm of the Sister Wives on TLC.

Sister Wives star Robyn Brown did something for the first time on camera after more than a decade of filming the TLC series. While it looked as if she had an immediate reason for this antic, fans thought she also sent a message to the wives who got away.

Sister Wives Robyn Brown Takes Matters Into Her Own Hands

Robyn Brown wasn’t invited to the wedding event of the year for the Sister Wives clan. But she shows up in the special dedicated to Christine Brown and David Woolley‘s nuptials.

Robyn, along with the other wives and Kody Brown, all have their say on the screen. They talk about Christine’s new chapter in life. Meri Brown approached this with kindness. She even offered an understandable excuse for not getting an invitation to the wedding.

Then there’s Janelle Brown, the only spouse from the Sister Wives now-defunct family who attended the festivities. Meri, Robyn, and Kody commented on the screen. But their thoughts were captured in clips. Then these clips were shown periodically throughout the event.

But as Robyn sat next to Kody as he offered his thoughts, fans saw her cover his mouth. It sounded as if something negative about Christine was about to pop out. Still, in the second half of the wedding special, Robyn Brown goes even further by taking things into her own hands.

Robyn Didn’t Have a Sock Handy?

Robyn Brown seems to see a need for Kody Brown to put a sock in it, this week on Sister Wives. She appeared to recognize the signs that her husband was about to go off on a spiel. But instead of that old saying, that suggests you put a sock in it, she plugged him up with something else.

Fans watched her cover his mouth with her hand on the first part of the Sister Wives special. But as the second half rolls out, she’s not using her hand to stop his unfiltered thoughts.

This time, Robyn leans over and kisses Kody. This kiss is unlike the fleeting pecks on the cheek that the Sister Wives spouses shared on camera once in a blue moon. No, this was a collision between her lips and Kody’s mouth. Plus, to the viewers, it looked like something more than just an attempt to shut him up.

Some suggest that the smashup between their lips carried a message for the ladies, who are now free of Kody Brown.

Sister Wives: No Longer Taboo for Last Wife Standing

Kody Brown said it numerous times on the screen. He doesn’t show romance with one wife in fairness to the others. This supposedly explained his lack of passion on the screen between the Sister Wives patriarch and his ladies.

But with only one wife left, that rule doesn’t apply anymore. So it sure looks like Robyn demonstrates this during the next episode. Sure, it looks like this kiss was to shut him up. But then Robyn started to swipe her hand at the Sister Wives camera.

The motion seemed to suggest that Robyn Brown was swatting them away. But as Christine Brown got married, Robyn puckered up and latched on to Kody Brown. Some fans see this as a bit of a revenge move towards the other three women who once shared this husband.

Christine was in overload on the screen, when it came to happiness and joy. So, some viewers saw this as a snub to the other wives, who could never have a romantic lip lock on camera with Kody. Either way, it looks like Robyn covered two bases with that kiss. She stopped Kody from putting his foot in his mouth, and she got a tad bit of revenge, with that one move captured on screen for the TLC series.

As season 18 waned down, the network got the viewers’ applause for including clips that demonstrate this wife’s full range of behavior. It looks like there’s more of this to come on the final episode of Christine Brown’s wedding special.

Sister Wives: Robyn Brown – No Longer on Cutting-Room Floor?

Robyn Brown has sobbed her way through many seasons of this reality series. But during this recent season, she’s done more than sob. It seems some Sister Wives viewers think the cameras kept rolling long enough for the only wife left to make a fool of herself at times.

Sure, the Robyn Brown fans got to know was still there. You know, the one who sobs while wiping away tears that aren’t falling. But another face of this wife also showed up in a few clips this season that are a bit different from previous seasons.

Scenes like this led the Sister Wives viewers to give cheers to the people behind the scenes at TLC. While Robyn displayed her sobbing, it seemed the cameras didn’t shut off. Instead, they captured what came next.

Robyn Doesn’t Fade-Out This Season

Previously, many of the Sister Wives scenes faded out with a distraught Robyn looking into the camera. But not this season, it seemed like the camera followed her a bit further than usual.

What surfaced recently seemed to fuel the fans’ take on her manipulative ways. One scene especially got a lot of attention across social media. Plus, the way it played out not only seemed very telling about Robyn Brown but Meri Brown as well.

There are several Sister Wives scenes featuring Robyn Brown that will likely never go away. They’ve been created into a GIF on social media and seem to always pop up. One clip still making the rounds displays Robyn Brown having a breakdown.

She just can’t fathom having an empty porch during her golden years. She displays heaving sobs while saying she wants to sit with her sister wives on her porch and watch her grandchildren play. Her display of over-the-top emotions was seen as comical by some fans.

But, another scene captured so much about Robyn Brown and her interaction with spouses that fans still comment on it today. It all started on a picnic table. This scene also said something about Meri Brown as well.

Sister Wives: Dramatic Exit Didn’t Go Off as Planned?

Robyn demonstrated several less-than-stellar behaviors through the years for the fans, who have no problem when pointing them out. Such as blaming Christine Brown for the demise of the family. Or by leading Meri Brown on by making her think she has a chance with Kody Brown.

But her interference in the last Kody-Meri talk on camera takes the cake for many viewers. While sitting on a picnic table at their Coyote Pass land, Kody and Meri ended their marriage. Robyn was privy to this, although she couldn’t sit there and watch it.

So the youngest wife makes her exit sobbing, saying she can’t sit through this. It was quite the exit as the Sister Wives production crew left the mic on. So, you could hear her talking to herself. But… neither Meri nor Kody went after her. Although, many fans thought that Robyn may have expected at least one of them would follow her, as she was an emotional wreck.

Instead, Kody and Meri kept right on talking. But, low and behold, Robyn walks back and plunks herself down. This is when the fans ripped her apart. First, fans raged that she had no business being there as Meri and Kody talked over their marriage. Next, they pointed out this was all about her getting attention.

Since no one followed her when she left, fans suggested that she came back for the attention. Well, she got it and fans critiqued her actions as a woman “making a fool of herself.” But Meri seemed to approach her co-wife comically. It was almost as if she wouldn’t take anything too seriously that the emotional wreck of a wife was peddling. Fans applauded Meri for not buying into this.

Another Face Emerges for Robyn

As seen in the post above, fans thanked TLC for not cutting the cameras this time around. The viewers got to see one of these meltdowns from start to finish because editing didn’t invade the scene.

It looks like more of the same is about to unfold during the last Sister Wives episode of the wedding special. Sure, there’s more boohooing from wife number four in the previews. But there’s also another face that comes over Robyn Brown.

She becomes an authority figure when on camera with Kody. Plus, the Sister Wives fans think she’s very flippant while doing so. She sarcastically cuts Kody off as he’s about to say something that sounds negative about Christine.

The sarcastic flare is seen when she says “We are very happy for them,” meaning Christine and David Woolley. Fans describe this as Robyn “throwing shade” at Christine. So, she contorts her face and sobs in a few scenes.

But then it’s like someone flipped a switch for another scene. Next, the sobs are gone, and she becomes someone smiling and sending a few jabs Christine’s way. Or at least this is how the fans see it.

But viewers thank TLC for lightening up on the editing. It’s for this reason, the two faces of Robyn Brown pop up loud and clear on the screen of this TLC series.

Sister Wives star Robyn Brown seemed to peel back a few layers while she appeared in the wedding special episodes that TLC rolls out over the next two weeks. The sobbing noises and wiping of her eyes no longer hamper her from speaking clearly. What she has to say to the camera and Kody Brown comes out very clear.

Sister Wives: Robyn Brown In Charge

Fans surmised for a long time now that Robyn Brown calls the shots. But during Christine Brown‘s wedding special, it looks like evidence of this comes to the screen.

When Robyn and Kody are together on the Sister Wives’ screen, something different happens. Each time Kody Brown says something, he seems to look at Robyn for approval.

The one scene making the rounds on social media from the preview of this week’s show seems to demonstrate who is really in charge. Kody fancies himself the leader of the family. He also mentioned several times in the past that his wives needed to follow his lead, even when they didn’t want to.

The original three Sister Wives did a fairly good job of that in the beginning. Or at least the editing made it look that way. But, as the seasons rolled along, it seemed the patriarch model started to unwind.

At one point a few seasons back, Janelle Brown said she never went in for that patriarch vision Kody was selling. She cringed at the word. But Kody said he was drawn more to Robyn Brown only because she was loyal and followed his lead. Or at least that is what the Sister Wives patriarch called it at the time.

Does Robyn Follow Kody’s Patriarch Model?

A while back, the Sister Wives shared husband explained that Robyn Brown was willing to follow his direction when the other wives were not. So, the man with the golden ringlets called Robyn Brown his loyal wife. So, he says this is why they are so close.

But that was only the first excuse. Now that his three other wives left, a new motto pops up. A motto that he repeats a few times –  he only loves Robyn. That said, he seemed to slip up about the love factor when speaking on-screen during Christine and David Woolley‘s Sister Wives wedding special.

Sister Wives: The Word ‘Love’ Gets Tossed Around

Kody likely made Robyn feel special by confessing she was the only woman ever he loved. But now it seems to be rather flimsy after he talks about another love. Kody is not done blaming Christine for everything under the sun that’s gone wrong with this plural marriage.

His latest gripe about his ex-wife as she marries doesn’t make Robyn sound so special. He tells the camera that he was “in love” with another woman before Robyn came on board, and Christine ruined that for him.

She would not let Kody marry this woman, which would have made her wife #4. But he had already described Robyn as his soulmate and the one woman he’d ever loved. Now there was another one.

So, when Robyn comes on the screen during the wedding special, she looks different. The viewers suggest on social media that it’s easy for the Sister Wives viewers to see that she has control over him today. She even covered his mouth when he said something about accusations made by his ex-wife.

Where Did Robyn’s Quick Change Come From?

Maybe Robyn Brown sees what the fans see when it comes to Kody tossing the word love around these days. Or it could be that her new lease on life as a solo wife means she is safe to show this control over her husband. He may be frantic about losing his last and only wife. If so, then Robyn might find it easier today to step into the driver’s seat.

But, for whatever reason, viewers see a change. Today, the fans see an overconfident and somewhat snarky Robyn Brown emerging. This was a woman who cried herself a river (however dry) during more than a decade of this TLC series. But today it looks like she’s taken the helm of what’s left of her Sister Wives marriage.

Sister Wives star Kody Brown seems to get all the egging-on he needs from Robyn Brown behind the scenes of the TLC show, as hints pop up on screen. Fans suggest he doesn’t say much these days without looking towards the only wife he has left for approval.

For the next two weeks, he is not the star of his show. Christine Brown and David Woolley’s wedding special will take up two consecutive Sunday nights in the series time slot. But it looks like this takes a toll on the man with the golden ringlets.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown is Not the Star Here

For the next two Sunday nights, a very humble David Woolley takes over as the male lead in this reality series when he marries Christine Brown. Fans already love David, as do Janelle Brown and both her and Christine’s kids.

Kody Brown held the lead male role for over a decade of Sister Wives seasons. So, stepping aside might not be easy for him. The teaser trailer offers a glimpse of how Kody handles this. But it also looks like Robyn Brown shares a private joke with her husband, as they talk about his ex-wife’s wedding.

The other Sister Wives spouses all say something in the preview below. While Meri Brown knew that Christine was getting married, she didn’t know when. Janelle Brown was with Christine through her entire wedding, and she couldn’t say enough about how she enjoyed the day. But when Kody and Robyn’s turn came up to talk, they looked a bit differently to the Sister Wives fans.

Robyn Brown Quiets Kody, But…

As the other spouses from Sister Wives talked about the wedding couple, they were positive. But when Kody Brown’s turn came up, he started saying something about Christine making accusations before Robyn could shut him up. Robyn seemed to hammer out a message to Kody, so he could repeat after her.

It looked as if she made sure Kody Brown said the right thing. Her behavior seemed to suggest that she wanted her husband to follow her lead by giving him the words to speak. That’s when Robyn Brown looked up to the sky to express that they were “just so happy for them.”

But Robyn’s demeanor was read by fans as being sarcastic when saying this to Kody Brown.  They also saw this as fueling Kody, who originally started to say something Robyn didn’t want him to say. So, she made him stop before he went too far.

Still, by looking up into the sky and saying the words in a very mechanical way, fans took this as Robyn being sarcastic. But when it was her turn to share her thoughts, her wording also sounded suspicious to some of the Sister Wives viewers.

Sister Wives: Robyn Offers a Twist in Her Good Tidings

Robyn Brown blamed Christine for the disintegration of the Sister Wives clan. So, it’s possible Kody’s only wife still harbors some animosity regarding this wedding. Fans aren’t privy to what Robyn talks about with Kody when the cameras stop rolling.

But another new clip surfaced of the two of them talking about the wedding. This seems to indicate there’s a lot more to their mindset than the wish for happiness they report. Robyn’s final word on the subject is a clue, as she puts a twist on her good tidings to them.

Robyn said, “I hope Christine and David can be happy… that’s all I’m going to say.”  It seems “can be” stuck out for the Sister Wives fans.  She didn’t say “will be”, but “can be,” which seemed to imply something more to some of the folks seeing this.

So, while Robyn looks into the camera and behaves as if she and Kody are just fine with this wedding, it doesn’t look that way to fans. Kody appears jealous and has looked this way to fans since David became his replacement in his ex-wife’s life.

This also comes along with anger, which Kody Brown admits in the upcoming episode. But it looks like Robyn Brown is fully aware of her husband’s state of mind. That said, it also looks as if she fuels his jealousy and anger as well, which became evident in the newest clips released for the TLC show.

Then there’s Christine Brown, who doesn’t sugarcoat her words. So, she chimes in and calls her ex-husband’s version of that failed courtship, “just a lie.”

Sister Wives: Kody Brown Fancies Himself a Wanted Man?

Kody Brown seems to one-up Robyn Brown in the desirable department. She made it clear during this season that back when she met Kody, she was popular. He was just one man in line wanting her hand in marriage.

Now he paints a picture of the potential wife that got away from his Sister Wives family. But Kody Brown’s colorful tale doesn’t match the story that the family told in a book they penned together several years back.

In that best-selling book, they told the story of a teenage woman. She was only weeks away from the altar with Kody. This was back when Meri Brown was his only wife. But this bride-to-be dumped him not long before the wedding date.

Christine Brown Finally Gets Her Wish

Christine Brown already had her sights set on Kody before he met the woman who almost married him. She penned in the Sister Wives book how she introduced this woman to Meri and Kody. But never once did she consider this teen as any competition. She never thought of her as a bride in this plural marriage.

So, she was crushed when she learned of the pending marriage to this unnamed 18-year-old woman. Then after a little time went by, she learned this wedding was not taking place. So, she set her sights on Kody once again. She wanted him as her potential polygamous husband.

But as fate would have it, Janelle Brown became wife number two, putting Christine back into the doldrums. That changed and when Kody Brown decided to take on another wife, Christine finally approached him.

History tells the rest of this story of Kody, Meri, Janelle, and Christine becoming the original Sister Wives family. But now with Kody’s new info this season, it doesn’t sound like that tale ends there. Today, the way the Sister Wives patriarch tells this tale, fans believe he’s throwing shade on Robyn only to make himself look good.

Sister Wives:  Robyn Brown Suddenly Becomes Part of the Story?

Kody seems to twist the story a bit. But when doing so, he seems to render Robyn as someone not as special as he made her out to be this season. He explains it this way,  “There was a woman that I was courting for a very long time before I married Janelle. [She] and Meri were friends. After I married Christine, she still wanted to be family. Christine shut it down the first time because Christine and I were friends, she says, ‘I’d never marry you if you married her.’”

Then Kody jumps ahead with, “And then Christine had no interest in having her in the family after Christine had come into the family.” The original story suggested Kody and Meri knew this girl for a long time but waited until she turned 18 before they got engaged. After she dumped him, that was the end of the story. Or at least the way the Sister Wives book first unfolded this part of their lives.

Sister Wives fans suggest that this new version seems to suggest Robyn was not his first choice for wife number four. If you follow what the patriarch is saying, then this woman would have been wife number four, and not Robyn, if Christine hadn’t allegedly nixed that marriage, which she denies.

Robyn Sits With Egg on Her Face?

To suggest that Robyn Brown appears as if Sister Wives drama may be getting to her, well, this might be an understatement. Check out her facial expression below at the opening of a recent episode. Robyn’s now monogamous husband seems fine with it all, but the look on her face seems to say she’s not feeling the same way.

For the longest time, Kody Brown seemed to favor Robyn over the other Sister Wives ladies. Now this season he offers up the reason for that. The only wife he ever loved happens to be Robyn Brown. He loves her because of her loyalty. This was his first line of defense when explaining why she seemed to be his favorite wife.

Sister Wives: Robyn Becomes Kody’s Soulmate

Kody dubbed Robyn Brown as his soulmate. But now we find out she wasn’t his first choice for wife number four. If what he is saying is true, then Robyn would never be in the family if Christine allowed him to marry the woman he courted for a long time. But again,  his third wife denies this and says that he’s lying. Plus, the book they wrote seems to tell it a bit differently as well.

So, what Sister Wives fans see today is Robyn being built up by Kody Brown all this season on Sister Wives. But now, it seems as if he tosses her aside to prove a point. His tale of his courting days seems to indicate that Robyn Brown was not his first pick. Or did this story twist a bit after Robyn’s story of many suitors sparked jealousy? Robyn described a long line forming of potential husbands before she picked the Sister Wives patriarch as her mate for life.

Fans suggest the guy sporting ringlets demands loyalty from his wives. But so far, fans suggest that he hasn’t shown much of this himself on the TLC show. This includes his loyalty to Robyn Brown as well.
