Gregory Chase Dying on General Hospital

A while back, on GH, Gregory Chase was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s Disease, otherwise known as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). It is a disease of the nervous system that causes the muscles to weaken and greatly impacts physical function.

Medication can help but there is no cure and it is a long, slow death. Little by little, Gregory is declining and eventually, he won’t be able to function at all. Indeed, he and his sons are having a hard time coming to terms with his diagnosis on General Hospital.

Gregory is trying to make the most of the time he has left by spending every minute with his family. Plus, he’s crossing as many things off his bucket list as possible. His son, Harrison Chase even moved up his wedding to Brook Lynn Quartermaine.

Indeed, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and his fiancée, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) wanted to make sure Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) could attend their wedding and enjoy himself.

On top of that, they even asked him to officiate. General Hospital spoilers confirm Gregory struggles during the ceremony. However, it seems as though he makes it through.

And it appears that Chase and BLQ get married without a hitch. However, their big day will set the stage for a bunch of drama. And unfortunately, Gregory may find himself caught smack dab in the middle of it.

The promo video for the “ChaLynn” nuptials promises tons of drama and also some danger. Mob kingpin, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), will be there and he’s in the throes of a bipolar spiral, though he doesn’t know it.

Also, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is there and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will likely attend also. He promised Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) that he wouldn’t let Sonny kill Dex. So, he might show up at the wedding to protect him on General Hospital.

Of course, Sonny considers them both traitors and has made it clear he has no problem killing either one of them. And Sonny is so unhinged right now, that he may pull his gun out and fire before thinking things through.

Also, Pikeman leader, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), plans to have his men kill Sonny and frame Jason for it. So, he may unleash his sniper at the wedding. Or, more likely, the reception at The Metro Court Hotel. Indeed, it wouldn’t be the first time Pikeman has tried to kill Sonny at the MC.

Either way, it looks like there’s definitely a shooting. The GH promo for the prestigious wedding confirms someone is injured and losing a lot of blood. Also, General Hospital spoilers for May promise Port Charles loses one of their own.

So there’s a good chance Gregory could end up taking a bullet that isn’t meant for him. Sadly, that’s what happened to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) at the Metro Court Pool shooting. So, Gregory might be the latest collateral damage.

This week, Chase and his bother, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), both look distraught. Of course, if Gregory is killed, it will be a tragedy. But, as tragic as his death would be, it would also be a blessing in disguise because it would save him from a slow and painful death.

At least this way, he can die still having his cognitive abilities and maybe even get to say goodbye to his loved ones. General Hospital fans may recall that something similar happened with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). Sadly, she had Huntington’s Disease.

GH casting news reports that John J. York’s back to work filming as Mac Scorpio after being on medical leave for about six months. John was diagnosed with two blood and bone marrow disorders — Myelodysplastic Syndromes and Multiple Smoldering Myeloma. 

He underwent chemotherapy and received a blood stem cell transplant and, thankfully, the treatment was a success. The Mac actor recently shared that he is currently filming new General Hospital episodes. So, that means we’ll see Mac back on the scene soon.

Right now, he is away on police business but his wife, Felicia Scorpio, keeps giving updates, assuring everyone he’ll be coming home soon. Once he returns, the big question is, will he finally find out Cody Bell is his son?

GH Casting Changes: Mac Scorpio Comes Home

General Hospital updates see Mac Scorpio (John J. York) back home soon. He’s been away for months but he will be home shortly. GH films about six weeks out. So, we should see Mac on our screens again around mid to late June.

And the question on everyone’s minds is — will Cody Bell‘s (Josh Kelly) paternity finally come out? Currently, the only one who knows Cody is Mac’s son is Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). Mac’s wifey, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) had her suspicions.

She had a DNA test run at General Hospital. However, it seems someone rigged the test to say Cody is not Mac’s biological son  — which is what Cody wants. Because he lied about the original test results, he’s afraid Mac and the Scorpio family will never forgive him.

But, the truth will come out eventually and when it does, Mac will be in shock and likely a little angry. However, once he cools off, he’ll probably forgive Cody and be happy to have his son in his life.

General Hospital Casting Updates: Nicholas Chavez Out

In other GH casting changes, Spencer Cassadine actor, Nicholas Chavez, recently updated fans on his status. He loves his fans dearly and is beyond grateful for them. Furthermore, he believes his time on the soap is the reason he is so busy as an actor.

Currently, on GH, Anna worries that the FBI may go back on their word and Carly could still do time once Jason helps them take down Pikeman. Indeed, Jason knows this is a possibility. But, he’s going to hold up his end of the bargain and hope they hold up theirs.

It seems that Jagger doesn’t want anything bad to happen to Carly. He just needs leverage to force Jason’s hand. It’s more likely that she is going to discover what Jason is doing to ensure her safety. She’ll feel guilty that she’s the reason Jason is an informant on General Hospital.

So, she might decide to turn herself in so Jason can get out from under Jagger’s thumb. She might go to him and confess to the RICO violations and accept her sentence. Of course, Jason would be furious and devastated.

But for most of these photos, you would need a magnifying glass to spot any resemblance. Kody doesn’t seem to stand still for too long while tooting around in public these days.

Well, at least not long enough for a Sister Wives fan to grab a photo that shows his face. One of the latest photos circulating online captures the back of Kody Brown.

The fan who captured a picture of Kody from behind describes him as sprinting through shops in a casino. Robyn was nowhere in sight at the time.

So, some fans think this flitting around avoiding the camera lens might have something to do with Kody and Robyn Brown’s grand scheme.

Kody & Robyn – Too Quiet

Not long ago, the Sister Wives family’s adult children came out of the woodwork with their online venues on social media. They offered little quips about what’s up within the family.

Currently, on GH, Kristina Corinthos is being a surrogate for her sister, Molly Lansing, and Molly’s partner, TJ Ashford. She’s pretty far along in her pregnancy, and the baby will be here before they know it. When Krissy first offered to be their surrogate, TJ, and Molly were both against the idea.

At first, it was devastating to Molly that her sister could have children and she couldn’t. But more than that, she and TJ worried the situation could get very messy. If they went with a surrogate they didn’t know, when the baby was born, that person would be out of their lives.

And they would be free to raise their baby on General Hospital. But, because Kristina is Molly’s sister, they’re connected for life. Kristina isn’t going anywhere and she’s going to be in the baby’s life as their aunt. So, they were very uneasy about it at first, and with good reason.

But when their first surrogate had a miscarriage, Molly was so devastated she reconsidered taking Krissy up on her offer. However, she was right to worry because things are taking a dramatic turn now as Kristina gets closer to the delivery date, especially because she’s biologically the kiddo’s mother.

Krissy Raising Eyebrows on GH

TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) has been worried from the start about all the things that could go wrong with Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi). But, he didn’t want to upset Molly Lansing (Kristen Vaganos). So, he stayed quiet. However, he’s no longer able to hide his growing concerns on General Hospital.

Indeed, he worries that Kristina will judge him and Molly as parents and try to insert herself as a parental figure in the child’s life.
