Rob Marciano Divorce: What Led to the GMA Meteorologist’s Firing?

As you may have heard, Rob Marciano is no longer an ABC employee.

The long-time meteorologist was let go by the network on Tuesday, although neither Marciano nor anyone affiliated with the network has spoken in public about the reason why just yet.

Marciano had been with ABC News since 2014, although was banned from the network studio in New York City last year for a period of one month… reportedly due to inappropriate behavior.

“He was found to have done something … that was improper, but he was punished for it, and they still haven’t let him return,” an insider told Page Six in March 2023.

Even during this punishment, Marciano continued to report on the weather from other locations.

It was an unusual situation.

And many observers believe it was related to the journalist’s divorce.

The news of his firing, you see, comes two years after his ex-wife Eryn Marciano filed for divorce after 11 years of marriage.

Eryn, an Atlanta native, is a successful real estate agent who started her career as a mortgage loan originator.

The couple sold its $2.7 million house the same month they announced their split, a decision Marciano admitted back then was made by his former spouse.

“The last couple of years have been very difficult. I didn’t want this and tried to save the marriage, but we are sadly divorcing,” the then-ABC employee said at the time, adding:

“My focus now is on my kids.”

Indeed, the exes share a daughter named Madelynn, 12; and a son named Mason, six.

The family took a vacation to Disney World together, even as Rob and Eryn were going through their divorce.

“Spring Break @waltdisneyworld — thru the chaos was much needed kiddos quality time — their joy is as we say #magical,” Marciano wrote as a caption to a group photo in April 2022.

You can check it out here:

Still, despite the pair seemingly being on good terms… Marciano took the divorce hard.

Last year, Page Six reported that Rob was going through “anger” issues as a result of his split, with an insider stating in cryptic fashion:

“He made people feel uncomfortable. There was a period where there were some issues, a number of alarming events.”

We cannot verify the nature of this discomfort; we don’t know exactly what Marciano was accused of doing or if it played any role in his firing this week.

In September 2023, though, Marciano celebrated the start of his 10th year with the network, writing via Instagram:

“I couldn’t be more pumped to continue this journey with all of you.”

“My thanks to the bosses who listened and made this work-life balance possible. I’m also grateful for an exciting new project with NatGeo that has me exploring some very very cool stuff… more to come!”

This may prove to be true.

But it won’t be at ABC.

Why Paige & Brooke Hyland Quit ‘Dance Moms’: Explosive Fight Revisited

When Paige and Brooke Hyland left Dance Moms, it followed the most dramatic scene in the show’s history.

Even a decade later, the explosive fight between dance teacher Abby Lee Miller and the Hyland sister’s mother is still talked about. A generation of fans even act it out on TikTok.

As the girls discuss on the Dance Moms: The Reunion special, there is still a lot of trauma to be dealt with regarding what happened.

So, let’s revisit what went down and why Paige and Brooke Hyland left Dance Moms when they were kids.

Why Paige and Brooke Hyland Left ‘Dance Moms’ in 2014

Sisters Brooke and Paige Hyland were always well-behaved kids while on Dance Moms, but both had a hard time gaining praise from their difficult to please teacher.

Abby Lee Miller spent a lot of the first four seasons playing favorites (Maddie Ziegler) and pitting the girls against each other (poor Chloe!).

In the now infamous Season 4 episode, the sisters’ mother Kelly Hyland got into a heated argument with Abby Lee when, out of the blue, a new girl is brought into the company on a competition day. Kelly felt Abby had brought in surprise newcomer Kalani Hilliker purposefully as an ambush and to replace her two children.

Abby denied it, but Kelly was not detoured. Things unfortunately got physical when Abby walked up to Kelly and pointed her finger in her face. Then, Abby motioned as if she was going to bite Kelly, who is turn grabbed her hair and pushed her away.

While the situation was later defused by the other mothers, Brooke and Paige quit ALDC after that.

And in fact, they never danced again.

The Aftermath: Kelly Hyland’s Arrest & The Sister’s Dance Careers

Kelly was arrested for assault and harassment stemming from the fight with Abby. However, the charges were eventually dropped. Kelly agreed to go to counseling and to stay away from Abby for six months.

Six months quickly turned into forever, as the girls quit dancing with Abby. But the legal battles were just beginning.

Kelly and her daughters filed a lawsuit against Abby and the show’s production company in November 2014, months after the explosive fight.

The family claimed the girls that they suffered from “defamation” and “emotional distress” because of the show, according to THR. They alleged Abby had a “domineering and often bullying and insulting leadership style” and wanted $5 million in damages. However, the judge through the case out, stating there wasn’t enough “evidence.”

So, the girls lost the battle and war. After that, neither sister pursued a dancing career.

But don’t feel bad for them. On the contrary, the girls are thriving!

Brooke & Paige Hyland Return For ‘Dance Moms’ Reunion: ‘It Was Really Hard’

After decade removed from the show, Brooke and Paige reunited with most of the cast of Dance Moms for a reunion special on Lifetime.

It was the first time the sisters were reunited with the other OG girls, like Chloe and Kendall. It was also the first time they faced their “replacement” Kalani in ten years.

Ahead of the show, the sisters addressed the concern that their mother blames herself for the end of her daughters’ time in the spotlight.

“I think we both wanted to get off the show, so I think we feel bad that our mom is holding that guilt,” Paige told ET.

“Actually, it’s like we want to thank her,” Brooke added.

“We look at her as an amazing mom who was fighting to do what we wanted,” Paige continues.

However, they both concede that the trauma of that fight that ended their time at ALDC is still something they are dealing with today – especially since the world won’t let them forget it.

“It’s hard. It’s become a TikTok trend,” Brooke shared. “People are using that sound from the fight. We scroll past. I’ve reenacted it. Kind of just laugh it off. But the reunion was the first time we’ve sat there and gone, ‘Wow, this happened! And it was my mom and my dance teacher who was a very important person in my life. It was really hard.”

Zach Roloff Admits Things Will Never Be the Same with Matt Roloff: ‘That Ship Has …

Will Matt Roloff and Zach Roloff ever mend fences?

With Little People, Big World‘s cast departures, the family feud hasn’t just torn apart the Roloffs but also their show.

Zach acknowledges that, in time, maybe he and his dad will have an easier relationship.

But he also admits that things will never be what they were.

Zach Roloff speaks in the ‘Little People, Big World’ season finale

In Entertainment Tonight‘s clip (below) of the Tuesday, April 23 Little People, Big World Season 25 finale, Zach Roloff speaks to the confessional camera as we see old footage — from his childhood on Roloff Farms — and his children’s current childhood on his and Tori’s land.

“The farm was part of my life, and it’s not going to be part of our kids’ lives the same way it was mine,” Zach admits. Jackson, Lilah, and Josiah will — for better or for worse — have different lives than their parents had.

Zach and Matt Roloff had a famous falling out when Matt, after years of leading on his sons with the idea that they would one day run the farm, put a portion of the family farm for sale.

This shattered Zach’s dreams — for himself and for his family. While twin brother Jeremy had already given up on the idea, it was a tough pill to swallow for Zach.

Now, however, Zach says that it’s not anger holding him back from visiting the farm where he grew up. But he has moved on — and has his own life with his wife and children.

According to Zach, he doesn’t hold a grudge against Matt

“No one’s holding grudges, no one’s intentionally not going to the farm,” Zach tells the camera in the finale.

“There’s just no interest,” he explains. “The kids don’t ask, nothing we’re hiding from them.”

Zach points out: “It’s just they don’t ask and they have their own space up here.”

During the clip, Zach makes it clear that he very much wishes for his children to grow up with his love of the outdoors.

That’s hardly guaranteed, and can even backfire on some parents.

But both Zach and Jeremy did grow up with their own dreams of land ownership and family. So far, it looks like Jackson, at least, may inherit his father’s outdoorsy spirit.

Things with Matt Roloff will never be the same

“When it comes to my dad, that ship has all sailed,” Zach characterizes to the camera on the finale.

“There’s not much of a relationship, just doing our own thing,” he admits.

Zach waxes almost optimistic, concluding: “Time might even it out, but everything will be healed, it just, it will be different.”

‘The Talk’ Cancelled at CBS After 15 Seasons: What Happened?

The Talk been canceled – officially, definitively, absolutely.

Though shows like The Talk have faced interruptions in recent years, the CBS daytime show has been airing in full swing for 15 years.

And now, their days are numbered.

The hosts of The Talk in March of 2023.

‘The Talk’ Cancelled at CBS After 15 Seasons

CBS is ending the long-running daytime chat show in the fall of 2024.

It will still get a 15th season, albeit an abbreviated one, starting in September, but then it will get a “celebratory sendoff” in December.

“It goes without saying that hosting and producing a year-round talk show is no easy task, and we express our sincere gratitude to our amazing hosts Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell and Sheryl Underwood, our executive producer/showrunner Rob Crabbe and the hardworking producing team and crew,” said the statement from the network.

The writing was on the wall for awhile, sadly, with fans voicing concern The Talk would be cancelled earlier in March.

‘The Talk’ Wasn’t Airing Like It Usually Did

For awhile in March the network actually yanked The Talk off of the air.

CBS claimed that it’s a temporary measure at the time, but fans — already concerned about the show’s prospects — weren’t so sure.

On Monday, March 18, through Wednesday, March 20, The Talk aired like always. Then, something changed.

CBS pulled the show from its daytime lineup on Thursday, March 21. Confused viewers quickly realized that it would not air on Friday, March 22, either.

Fans feared that the network was doing a little spring cleaning. Had CBS canceled The Talk already?

Curious. Deadline seems to think The Talk is in the crosshairs.

Could be. But I also don't think Bold's ratings are strong enough for it to be a lead in to The Gates….if CBS keeps it.

Hell I'd bump Bold to 3rd and give The Gates that prime spot after YR. https://t.co/g0qeLrTqpi

— ????DarlingCCs???? (@kindred1999) March 14, 2024

Fans had already been expressing concern about the talk show’s future. After all, CBS has a new soap opera, The Gates, which will need room to grow.

(Notably, we should not confuse this soap with ABC’s criminally underrated 2010 supernatural crime drama, The Gates)

However, CBS put forward the official story, via a press release: “The Talk is preempted due to CBS Sports coverage of March Madness.”

CBS replaced ‘The Talk’ with WHAT?

March Madness is a sports term, referring to a series of basketball games that are, one assumes, very exciting to basketball fans.

(Yes, the Super Bowl was literally just one month earlier, but that was football. Year after year, there seems to be no end to sports events.)

Apparently, these sporting events are so important that networks are willing to place other shows on hiatus simply for viewers to watch an orange ball pass through a net.

Or not pass through the net, as the case may be.

CBS set aside noon until 5 PM (ET) on Thursday, March 21, and Friday, March 22 as all-basketball, all the time, airing the 2024 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.

It’s worth noting, for those who worry for The Talk’s future, that soap operas were also placed on a temporary hiatus.

Officially, these returned on Monday, March 25. Even though “March” Madness continued until April 8, its daytime programming was limited to March 21-22.

‘The Talk’ has undergone some changes

In 2010, The Talk premiered with a different lineup. Hosts included Julie Chen Moonves, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Leah Remini, and Holly Robinson Peete.

In 2024, the Season 14 lineup includes Sheryl Underwood, Jerry O’Connell, Natalie Morales, Akbar Gbajabiamila, and Amanda Kloots.

Departures can happen for many reasons. Most memorable of all may have been Sharon Osbourne’s firing following horror stories of racism and homophobia towards her co-hosts and others.

Even with host scandals behind them (Sharon was not alone), fans have a number of concerns.

Between The Talk‘s relatively low ratings – despite its usefulness for promoting other CBS programs to viewers – and the full dance card of soap operas, viewers were concerned that CBS wouldn’t renew the series for another season.

Now we know – it’s the end of an era!

Jelly Roll Should Replace Katy Perry on ‘American Idol’ After Emotional Guest …

Will Jelly Roll be replacing Katy Perry on American Idol?

A lot of fans would like to see it happen. Especially after his stint as a guest mentor.

Now that Katy Perry is quitting American Idol, who will fill her role as judge?

Jelly Roll’s name is on the lips of many viewers. But he’s not the only candidate to fill the pop star’s shoes.

Jelly Roll in April of 2024.

On ‘American Idol,’ Jelly Roll is making quite the impression

During the Monday, April 8 episode of American Idol, the second half of the Top 24 finalists performed. This was just ahead of the talent competition announcing its Top 20.

Jelly Roll, a Country singer whose name evokes hunger, had joined the show as a guest mentor — and as a performer.

He soon became emotional when 19-year-old Mia Matthews dedicated her song to her late father.

“I lost my father in 2019. So brave of you to pick that song,” an emotional Jelly Roll declared. “It’s probably the single hardest experience I ever had.”

The Country singer then joked: “Thanks for making me cry. I hate you.”

Mia Matthews countered with: “I love you!” Jelly Roll then returned the sentiment, this time without joking.

Will Jelly Roll be replacing Katy Perry as an ‘Idol’ judge?

At the moment, it’s unclear who will replace Katy Perry after she departs from the show.

Though speculation is that Katy’s family life is her new priority, there are also exciting whispers about her upcoming music.

Fans are speculating that Jelly Roll might step up to the judge’s chair. He certainly seems to be a likeable guy, with a sympathetic background and a success story.

Jelly Roll on stage in early April, 2024.

Some fans are clamoring to see Jelly Roll fill Katy Perry’s spot. And it’s possible that producers invited him as a guest mentor as a sort of trial balloon, to see how audiences respond to him.

Additionally, Jelly Roll himself seemed to imply that he enjoyed his time on the infamous talent show.

On Monday, April 8, he tweeted: “I could get used to doing this.”

i could get used to doing this. #americanidol #jellytime

— Jelly Roll (@JellyRoll615) April 9, 2024

But Jelly Roll isn’t the only person with an interest in the spot

Jordin Sparks famously won Season 6 of American Idol, back in 2007 when the show was truly popular. She was only 17 years old at the time.

In February of 2024, she threw her proverbial hat into the ring.

“Oh hiiii @AmericanIdol — I hear a seat opened up at the judges’ table! I’m putting my name in the hat!” Jordin wrote.

Oh hiiii @AmericanIdol—I hear a seat opened up at the judges table! I’m putting my name in the hat! ????????‍♀️

— Jordin Sparks (@JordinSparks) February 16, 2024

Truth be told, many talent competitions attempt to cycle judges in and out who cover similar demographics. Slipping up can be disastrous.

Fans recently pointed out how The Voice erred in casting too many Country stars as coaches during the same season. And that is only one example.

Katy Perry is the biggest name in American Idol‘s panel of revival judges. Perhaps production will look for someone more affordable, but doing so could sacrifice the allure of a high-profile star like Perry. Maybe Jelly Roll or Jordin Sparks can fit the show’s needs … or maybe not.

Jake McLaughlin: Who is ‘Will Trent’ Actor’s Wife? How Many Kids Do …

Does Will Trent actor Jake McLaughlin have a wife? How many kids do they have?

Like Will Trent lead Ramon Rodriguez, Jake McLaughlin has managed to keep much of his private life separate from his acting career.

At times, he has opened up about his relationship and his family.

What is his off-screen life like?

Who is ‘Will Trent’ star Jake McLaughlin?

McLaughlin was born in 1982. Both of his parents are of Irish descent. Through his mother, he also has Cheyenne heritage.

In 2002, he joined the United States Army. His history as an Iraq War veteran would later motivate him to audition for In The Valley of Elah, and he landed the role.

Before Will Trent, McLaughlin achieved recognition for roles on Grey’s Anatomy, Believe, Crash, and Quantico.

Which ‘Will Trent’ character does Jake McLaughlin portray?

Michael Ormewood is the fictional partner of Erika Chirstensen’s Will Trent character, Angie Polaski.

Jake McLaughlin portrays Ormewood as an aggressive contrast to Trent’s thoughtful, methodical vibes.

As a result, the characters frequently clash. A sometimes antagonist to the lead is not an easy role for an actor to assume, but McLaughlin makes it work.

Is Jake McLaughlin married? Does he have any children?

In 2004, McLaughlin married his wife, Stephanie. Will Trent Season 2 premiered the same year as the couple’s 20-year anniversary.

Together, the two have four children. Three daughters: Rowan, Reagan, and Freya. And one son, Logan.

The McLaughlins are clearly excellent at naming kids. And, in February of 2024, he revealed that they weren’t done yet.

Jake McLaughlin shared that he was expecting Baby #5!

At age 41, McLaughlin shared the happy news in February of 2024 while promoting the then-upcoming second season of Will Trent.

“I guess I could announce it now that we’re…I have a son coming in a few more weeks, so yeah,” he shared in early February.

“That’ll be number five for all of you that are like, shaking your head at me for having five kids,” McLaughlin added. “But we’re really happy and excited.”

Will Jake McLaughlin return for ‘Will Trent’ Season 3?

As of the start of spring in 2024, ABC has not officially announced the renewal of Will Trent for a third season.

However, given the popularity of the show, there are widespread expectations in a third season.

If (or when) the network announces the Season 3 renewal, industry insiders and fans alike expect the cast to remain largely the same. That would include Jake McLaughlin’s return.

Was ‘9-1-1’ Star Peter Krause on ‘The Bachelor?’

Was 9-1-1 star Peter Krause on The Bachelor before he became an actor and director?

If you’ve asked yourself this question, you’re not alone.

Since 2018, Peter Krause has starred on 9-1-1, which first aired on Fox before continuing on ABC.

His name sounds familiar to many in the Bachelor Nation. And it should!

Who is Peter Krause?

Peter Krause is an actor, director, and producer with a lengthy career in the entertainment industry.

Historically, his best known role has to be portraying Nate Fisher on the prestige drama, Six Feet Under, from 2001-2005.

Since 2018, however, he has had one of the lead roles on 9-1-1. Not to be confused with the excellent Lady Gaga song of the same name, the procedural drama follows fictional first responders in Los Angeles.

Which ‘9-1-1’ character does Peter Krause portray?

Peter Krause portrays Robert “Bobby” Nash on 9-1-1.

His character is a fire station captain, and the husband of Angela Bassett’s Athena Grant-Nash.

Sharing a screen, let alone so many scenes, with the legendary Angela Bassett is no small feat. And that’s without acknowledging the rest of his decades-spanning acting career. But has he ever dipped his toes into reality TV?

Was Peter Krause ever on ‘The Bachelor’ or any of the reality show’s spinoffs?

Bachelor Nation fans know that they remember his name, and not just from the credits of a long-running procedural or a prestige drama.

There have been people who’ve appeared on reality TV, sometimes as guests rather than as contestants, who were already famous in some capacity.

But no, 9-1-1‘s Peter Krause has never been on The Bachelor. But asking the question isn’t silly.

Peter Kraus listens attentively on The Bachelorette in 2017.
In 2017, Peter Kraus appeared as a contestant on The Bachelorette. He would go on to turn down the titular lead role on The Bachelor multiple times. (Image Credit: ABC)

‘The Bachelor’ absolutely had a contestant by that name (almost)

Peter Kraus — not to be confused with the actor, Peter Krause — was the ludicrously handsome, extremely fit contestant on Rachel Lindsay’s season of The Bachelorette in 2017.

Not only was Peter the total package, but he made it to Rachel’s final three. Ultimately, she ended up with Bryan Abasolo. After four years of marriage, Rachel and Bryan filed for divorce.

Rachel and Peter clearly had real feelings for each other. Though Peter’s adorable bromance with Dean Unglert outlasted this romance, the breakup tears were painfully genuine.

It turns out that “Peter” is one of the most common first names in the English-speaking world.

And both Kraus and Krause are fairly popular surnames with German and Ashkenazi roots. In many families, spellings of last names can vary due to time, immigration, and learning of new languages.

Peter Krause was never on The Bachelor. Peter Kraus turned down the role repeatedly … but would look great as a fireman on 9-1-1.

Amy Schumer ‘Kinda Pregnant’: Flaunts Baby Bump On Set Of New Show

Amy Schumer is looking kinda’ pregnant on the set of Kinda Pregnant.

This is not a coincidence.

The aggressively controversial comedian is sporting a baby bump while working on the Netflix series just weeks after disclosing her diagnosis.

There’s an “inside Amy Schumer” joke in here somewhere.

Is Amy Schumer ‘Kinda Pregnant’ or is she pregnant?

On Thursday, March 7, Amy Schumer was on the set of her upcoming Netflix romantic comedy.

Kinda Pregnant is about a character named Lainy (whom Schumer portrays) who becomes deeply envious when her friend becomes pregnant.

As a result, the character wears a fake baby bump. That is an absolutely unhinged premise for a rom-com, but people have done much rational things in real life.

Amy Schumer is wearing a prosthetic baby bump

Just like her character, Schumer is wearing an artificial baby bump on set.

As Entertainment Tonight reports, Schumer seemed to enjoy flaunting the unorthodox wardrobe item on the Kinda Pregnant set while flashing a peace sign at the cameras.

According to teasers about the upcoming series, Lainy’s bonkers behavior will lead to her finding love. Like real people, fictional characters will entirely ignore red flags.

Just for the record, Amy Schumer IS a mom

Amy Schumer and her husband, Chris Fischer, are parents.

The two share a 4-year-old son, Gene. They welcomed him in May of 2019, via C-section.

And no, she’s not going to give birth (by any means) to anyone any time soon. In September of 2021, she had her uterus removed to help alleviate endometriosis symptoms.

Amy Schumer is deliberately controversial

Amy Schumer’s public image is in a precarious place these days. And while misogyny and body-shaming are an ever-present rot within our culture, they’re not the culprits — even if that’s what she seems to believe.

Over the past several months, Amy Schumer has made vile statements and doubled down regarding the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

She has repeatedly twisted outraged backlash into anger over her physical appearance. While Schumer has repeatedly been the victim of inexcusable body-shaming in the past, it is hard to believe that she genuinely believes that people are less angry about wholesale slaughter and are simply raging over her puffy cheeks.

Will Amy Schumer’s controversies hurt ‘Kinda Pregnant’ viewership?

Many people are wondering why Netflix would take such a bizarre risk by letting Schumer helm a new show.

First, there are an astonishing number of people who are not very online. Anyone can miss a story, but there are folks who have no idea about the hateful things that famous people say in interviews and on social media. These people lead quieter, simpler lives.

And second of all … it’s not a surprise that Netflix would give Schumer this show. It was likely lined up well before her hateful statements. Also, Netflix famously loves rewarding hateful comedians with their own specials.

Even with Vanderpump Rules facing a boycott by its own fans, there’s no stopping Lisa Vanderpump’s reality TV empire.

She’s no longer limiting herself to Bravo, either. Lisa has broader aspirations.

The debut season beings in spring of 2024. Here are all of the details that we know.

What is ‘Vanderpump Villa’ about?

The Vanderpump Rules spinoff, Vanderpump Villa, is a new reality series that follows a staff that Lisa Vanderpump personally selected.

They will not only work at the titular French villa, Chateau Rosabelle, where they attend to wealthy guests, but will also reside there. The dramatic potential is palpable. (Seriously, imagine at the Pump Rules cast also lived side-by-side?)

As you can imagine, this attractive bunch will be serving guests in these luxurious accommodations … but they’ll also be engaging in romances, clashing through rivalries, and various hijinks will certainly ensue.

Who are the Hulu reality show’s cast members?

Stephen Alsvig and Gabriella Sanon are the events coordinators, Anthony Bar is the executive chef, Marciano Brunette is the lead server, Caroline Byl is the sous chef.

Grace Cottrell and Emily Kovacs are housekeepers, Priscila Ferrari and Hannah Fouch are servers, Eric Funderwhite is the chateau manager, Telly Hall and Andre Mitchell are mixologists.

Rest assured, Lisa Vanderpump herself is lending more than just her name to this project. We’re sure that this cast of characters is going to give her more than her share of headaches as she evaluates whether to make this “pop up” experience a permanent enterprise.

Why is ‘Vanderpump Villa’ airing on Hulu?

Amidst the announcements of this exciting spinoff, many have asked why this isn’t airing on Bravo or E! or Peacock — all NBCUniversal platforms where Lisa’s other projects air.

There have not been many answers. Very likely, it’s about money, in terms of salary or the show’s budget, or possibly about how much control Lisa can have. We don’t know for sure.

But we should note that this is not her first project on the Disney side of the corporate aisle. Pooch Perfect airs on ABC.

When does ‘Vanderpump Villa’ premiere?

This question has a nice, easy answer!

Not only does Vanderpump Villa premiere on April 1, 2024, but we have more details than that to offer.

The first three episodes (which will of course air on Hulu) will drop on the same day. No, it won’t be an April Fool’s Day prank — just enough to give people a real taste of the show and hook some viewers.

Vanderpump Villa's trailer shows two cast members surrounded by kitchen-related details. They are labeled "The Chefs."
“The Chefs” appear on the extended Vanderpump Villa trailer. (Image Credit: Hulu)

Until we have all watched the premiere, we won’t know the exact vibes of the show.

Even so, many expect a fusion of Vanderpump Rules with Below Deck in a “Downton Abbey servants but it’s the 2020s and everyone’s hot” setting.

One nice Vanderpump Villa detail that we can all look forward to: none of Tom Sandoval’s toxic nonsense. This series will have its own villains.

Sharon Osbourne Trashes Ellen DeGeneres & James Corden On ‘Big Brother’

It isn’t every day that Sharon Osbourne drags Ellen DeGeneres and James Corden in the same breath. Not on camera, anyway.

Just a few years ago, Sharon Osbourne’s use of racist and homophobic slurs towards her cohosts on The Talk cost her a TV gig and a lot of fans.

And now, she’s at it again.

She’s calling out DeGeneres and Corden and even Anna Wintour.

For better or for worse, Sharon Osbourne speaks her mind

Sharon Osbourne joined 12 other “celebrities” (always a dubious label, akin to the titular “stars” of Dancing With The Stars) on Celebrity Big Brother: UK.

She and longtime friend Louis Walsh received the task of secretly judging the cast as they walked into the house and introduced themselves.

But Sharon’s comments during the Thursday, March 7 episode made waves when she discussed other celebrities — people far more famous – and infamous – than any of the housemates.

Gary Goldsmith, uncle of the currently secluded Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, brought up the topic of name-dropping as an older British man might.

“I’ll tell you who does that, James Corden. He does that all the time,” Sharon Osbourne revealed, dragging the controversial fellow Brit.

According to her, Corden often drags famous people’s names into conversations — and brags about his designer clothing.

Sharon Osbourne got specific, describing James Corden’s insipid yet annoying habits

“I go to him, ‘I really like your shoes,’ and he goes, ‘Yeah, Stella McCartney,'” Sharon described.

“I’m like, I didn’t ask you who made them, I just said I like your shoes,” she complained.

According to Sharon, “He played the L.A. game really well.” To be clear, that is a backhanded compliment.

“Kissing all the right people. Anna Wintour, mwah, mwah,” Sharon mocked, referring to Corden apparently charming Vogue‘s legendary Editor-in-Chief.

“Oh she loves him, loves him. But who loves Anna Wintour? I think she’s the C-word,” Sharon then declared.

James Corden isn’t the only fallen TV host to earn Sharon’s ire

At this point, Louis Walsh brought up once-beloved former talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. Sharon responded with mimed vomiting.

She did not get specific. But reports of how Ellen treated people who worked on her show, not to mention waiters and hotel employees unlucky enough to server her, are pretty well circulated. Toxicity scandals tend to evoke Ellen’s name for comparison these days.

For that matter, James Corden’s run-ins with restaurant workers have also made the news. We don’t think that Sharon’s trying to be a champion of the service industry, but it turns out that some awful people are as irritating to wealthy peers as they are to working class folks.

Obviously, we can all take Sharon Osbourne’s drags of Ellen DeGeneres and James Corden with a few grains of salt.

Sharon is pretty infamous herself. For that matter, some have wondered if her gagging in reference to Ellen was less about Ellen’s toxic behavior and more about some degree of homophobia.

But perhaps this could be a case where a broken clock is right twice a day.

Brian Peck & Josh Peck: Is Nickelodeon Star Related To Drake Bell’s Alleged …

Is Brian Peck related to Josh Peck?

Former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell has spoken out about sexual abuse he experienced as a teen. The alleged culprit is an actor and dialogue coach who was arrested in the early 2000s and even went to prison.

His name is Brian Peck. Which, given the name of Bell’s costar from his most famous role, has fans curious.

Is he any relation to Bell’s longtime peer and costar, Josh Peck?

Josh Peck in 2024.

Who is Josh Peck?

Josh Peck is a former child star. The beloved comedic actor, born in 1986, appeared on Nickelodeon for years on iconic shows like All That, The Amanda Show, and of course on Drake & Josh.

As we’ll detail a little further in a moment, Josh costarred with Drake Bell for four seasons and 56 episodes. They reprised their roles in TV movies and voiced their characters in video games.

Josh continues to act, recently appearing in a recurring role on (now tragically canceled) Paramount+ iCarly revival.

Drake Bell is not the first person to accuse Brian Peck of CSA.

Who is Brian Peck?

Brian Peck is an actor of little note. He appeared in various minor roles, and then used that acting experience to work as a dialogue coach.

A dialogue coach essentially works with an actor. They might help with anything from running lines to offering one-on-one feedback to an actor on their delivery and pronunciation, as every actor has different needs.

In 2004, a court convicted Brian Peck of sexually abusing an unidentified actor under the age of 16. Drake Bell has now come forward to identify himself as the victim. He was 15 at the time.

You may have heard about Brian Peck recently

During a recent episode of their Pod Meets World podcast, Rider Strong, Danielle Fishel, and Will Friedle discussed Brian Peck. He had appeared as a guest on Boy Meets World years before his arrest and conviction, and cultivated a friendship with the young actors.

The actors thought back upon what they now regard as an unsettling and creepy friendship with the much older actor.

They described guilt and being on the “wrong side” when he used their friendship to convince them to appear on his behalf during his 2004 trial. He ended up spending 16 months behind bars, but their ignorance at the time — a time when it was much harder to look up allegations like this — clearly haunts them.

Drake Bell costarred with Josh Peck for years

As we noted, Drake Bell — who got into serious legal trouble over sexting a minor just a few years ago — has opened up about his experience as a CSA survivor.

In his teens, however, he costarred with Josh Peck on a series of projects, ultimately landing titular roles as stepbrothers on Drake & Josh.

Not only did Drake & Josh serve as a launching point for Miranda Cosgrove’s career on ratings juggernaut iCarly in the years that followed, but the show was solid on its own. However, the apparent coincidence of Drake’s costar and his alleged abuser sharing a surname has fans asking an obvious question: are Josh Peck and Brian Peck related?

Josh Peck in 2022.

Is Josh Peck related to Brian Peck?

As far as we can tell, Josh Peck is not in any way related to Brian Peck. Peck is a common surname, with an estimated 60,000 individuals bearing that name in the United States.

Similarly, there are no indications that either Josh or Brian Peck are related to legendary actor Gregory Peck. Again, a name is just a name.

It is a cruel coincidence that Josh Peck must share a surname with someone who has caused so much harm.

Casey Anthony Threatens to Launch Her Very Own Reality Show: Report

Would you tune into a Casey Anthony reality series?

Especially to one that doesn’t take place behind bars?

A couple of years ago, the very idea of the Casey Anthony docuseries‘ existence was an affront to basic decency. That it exists at all is a pretty effective condemnation of our entertainment culture’s total lack of moral standards.

The decent thing to do after an unthinkable acquittal makes you one of the most notorious people on the planet is to fade into obscurity. Casey Anthony reportedly wants to become a reality star.

Casey Anthony wants her own reality TV series

The New York Post reports that the infamous Casey Anthony has submitted a proposal for her own show.

Now 37, her pitch suggests “an intimate window into the daily life of one of the most controversial women in America.”

“In each episode, Casey will go about her day — working, socializing, dating,” the proposal ominously explains.

“She will share her thoughts and opinions,” the proposal reportedly threatens, “and will give an intimate look into her world.”

Believe it or not, the infamously acquitted former mother has people willing to associate with her.

The show would include “members of Casey’s trusted inner circle, many of whom have never spoken out before.”

Lots of people will shamelessly embarrass themselves for reality TV, but this is on a whole new level.

Will this Casey Anthony reality series actually come to be?

At the moment, even the generally less-than-brilliant heads of TV networks are balking at the proposal.

“I think that’s a losing bet,” one network executive expressed to The New York Post. “It would get a large audience initially, but what’s really that interesting about her life? Plus the backlash would be huge. Not worth it.”

It hasn’t even been two decades since the massive O.J. Simpson backlash over If I Did It. That hasn’t stopped some bonkers O.J. Simpson books from cropping up, but some things are just too heinous to endorse.

Should Peacock have given Casey Anthony her own docuseries? Absolutely not.

It’s understandable that this infamous 37-year-old would think that people want to see her received thousands of dollars to go about her life, gloating about her freedom.

After all, Peacock’s morally bankrupt docuseries in 2022 allowed Casey Anthony to imply that her father had murdered her daughter, Caylee.

Once you get away with something — like getting to spin your story on your very own docuseries — you start to think that you can do whatever you want. And, tragically, our society will endorse a lot of garbage in the name of “entertainment.”

Casey Anthony tears up on her Hulu docuseries.

Does Casey Anthony deserve her own reality TV series?

Many would say that someone accused of murdering her own 2-year-old daughter does not, in fact, deserve reality stardom.

In fact, even people who believe that the jury made the right call in acquitting her would say that someone who waited weeks to call the police about her missing toddler and then lied to authorities during the search for her maybe doesn’t get to become a TV personality.

And, as even higher-ups in the television industry have noted, would there be anything interesting to the show aside from her notoriety? We don’t need to watch O.J. Simpson go to the grocery store and we don’t need to watch Casey Anthony plan a birthday party.

‘The Voice’ Canceled: Will Show End After Fans Declare Season 25 …

Is The Voice about to be canceled after 25 seasons? Some longtime fans think that it should be.

When Gwen Stefani left The Voice, the hottest of the Jonas Brothers stepped into the coach’s chair. One pop singer filled in for another.

But when Niall Horan did his last swivel on the NBC talent conversation, The Voice replaced the One Direction alum with … a Country music duo.

Out the the current coaches, half hail from the same niche music genre. It feels like a different show altogether — and it’s alienating longtime viewers.

The coaches on ‘The Voice’ have some redundancies at present

Chance the Rapper is not a Country singer. Neither is John Legend.

However, Reba McEntire and Dan + Shay (who may be “one” coach, but are certainly two people) are Country singers.

Niall Horan decided to not return for Season 25. That’s when Dan + Shay stepped in … giving Country a 50% stake in the coaching lineup.

Even within hours of Season 25 premiering in late February, fans and viewers of The Voice were expressing their disapproval.

For example, Reddit denizens voiced criticisms ranging from calls for The Voice to be canceled to hoping that Season 26 is wildly different.

“I can’t be the only person annoyed that Country Western (CW) is overshadowing everything. If CW had its own show it would be better,” one redditor prompted.

‘The Voice’ on the verge of being cancelled by fans

“If the music industry picked the winner it would also be better,” the Reddit user continued. “America voting is a train wreck.”

Noting the poor judgment of voters, the redditor pointed out: “Some of the world’s best singers would have been voted off the show. That is ridiculous.”

That same Reddit prompt continued: “I usually watch until the voting starts. This year that double team stunt makes the whole thing unwatchable for me.”

“Who thought it was a good idea to have 3 country judges,” one commenter demanded to know.

“I absolutely hate country music,” another expressed. “Having the country duo instead of someone different from all the rest is what they should have done. I’m not watching this season.”

An additional redditor chimed in: “I haven’t watched it yet maybe today but I have been fearing that. Especially the way the voting went last season.”

Not everyone wants ‘The Voice’ canceled or subjected to changes, however

“Just because others have different music preferences doesn’t make it wrong,” argued one Reddit denizen.

Another pointed out that the show may be pivoting towards what its audience — possibly segments of its audience who aren’t active on social media — wants.

“Several Voice alums have been successful on country radio… so yeah, country artists are going to be featured,” suggested an additional commenter.

Coaches on Season 25 of The Voice.

Even though music competition shows like The Voice and American Idol have a reputation for more parochial viewers, The Voice has (at least previously) enjoyed a fairly robust viewership.

Perhaps that has changed, and maybe some demographics are tuning out. If so, it’s possible that producers decided to cater to the Country crowd rather than face the music — if you’ll forgive the dreadful pun.

But it sounds like some fans — likely those more likely to sign up for Peacock — are tuning out. NBC is rolling the dice with Season 25, and no one knows where those dice will land.

Cosmo Jarvis’ Illness: ‘Shogun’ Actor’s Health Issues, Explained

The highly anticipated FX limited series Shogun premiered to rave reviews on Tuesday.

But for some fans, the joy of discovering an epic new series was undermined by reports about actor Cosmo Jarvis’ illness.

Questions about Jarvis’ health have been circulating on social media, but as is so often the case on Twitter/X and elsewhere, the truth of the situation has been obscured by a jumble of misinformation.

Thankfully, Jarvis has spoken openly about his condition, so it’s not hard to separate the facts from the fear-mongering lies.

Cosmo Jarvis Illness: What Is the State of the Actor’s Health?

Jarvis suffers from Type 1 diabetes, and he’s been admirably candid on the topic of his health, admitting that he experiences moments of anxiety and depression as a result of his condition.

“I think I was just [filming], and probably telling somebody about how I didn’t want to celebrate my birthday because I’ll be dead in 10 years,” he says, drily. He takes me aback,” Jarvis once told the Guardian, adding:

“Type one diabetes catches up with you.”

Jarvis went on to say that his health issues have forced him to rethink his relationship with technology.

“It screws with my philosophy, because I’m pretty much a hater of technology and everything that it involves, but then I rely on it to some extent to survive,” he explained.

“I fully accept that if it wasn’t for technology, diabetics and anybody with any ailment would be the first people to be dead,” Jarvis added.

Cosmo Jarvis attends the Los Angeles premiere of FX's "SHOGUN" at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on February 13, 2024 in Los Angeles, California.

“Then it comes down to the point of trying to argue: where is the line to differentiate between technology in the name of excess and technology in the name of accommodating basic human needs?”

Cosmo’s Rise: A British Star Becomes an International Phenomenon

Though born in the US, Jarvis has spent most of his years living in the UK, where he’s been a well-known actor and musician for several years.

Now, thanks to Shogun and his work in films like Lady Macbeth and Persuasion, Jarvis’ star is on the rise internationally.

As a result, a whole slew of new fans are taking an interest in the 34-year-old’s personal life.

The situation might be a mixed blessing for Cosmo, who has vigilantly guarded his privacy up to this point.

It’s believed that Jarvis is married, but nothing is known about his alleged wife, and it doesn’t look as though the actor will be opening up anytime soon.

Cosmo’s desire for privacy makes his willingness to speak publicly about his diabetes all the more laudable.

And if there’s any downside to his stellar work in Shogun, it’s that it’s sure to bring him tremendous international acclaim, which will likely lead to more prying questions from fans!

Porsha Williams Confirms Return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta! With a Twist!

She’s coming back, Bravo viewers.

On Tuesday, the cable network announced that Porsha Williams will be a full-time cast member on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, although she’ll be going by her official married name this time around.

That would be Porsha Williams Guobadia.

Williams Guobadia was a fan favorite on The Real Housewives of Atlanta from Seasons five through 13.

She left the show on her own accord in September 2021.

At the time, she was getting set to marry husband Simon and said she wanted to be more present for her daughter, Pilar.

“I just want as much time with her as possible,” Porsha told Variety back then.

“And with me in the past dealing with mental health, I knew that I needed to be as healthy mentally as I could be. No drama, etc. Just in a happy peaceful place for my baby girl.”

Porsha was clear two-plus years ago that she wasn’t closing the door on an eventual return, however.

And here she is now.

“I’m incredibly thankful for the vision and faith NBCUniversal has put in me to be a larger part of their family,” Porsha said on Instagram this afternoon.

“I’m looking forward to being back on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and showing the world my new world!”

According to her new agreement with NBCUniversal Entertainment., Porsha will exclusively collaborate with this studio for scripted projects spanning the company’s broadcast and streaming platforms.

Last July, the reality star spoke with Entertainment Tonight about possibly returning to the Bravo hit series, emphasizing that she was basically just waiting until the right deal was in place.

“I love that people want to see me. I love that people are still interested in my life and who I am,” she said last summer.

“I’ve never written it off, I’ve never talked down on the show. I love what the girls are doing. I love that the brand is still as strong as it was before, and you just never know.”

Andy Cohen previously said that The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast will look a bit different on Season 16.

We already know that Kandi Burruss is walking away after an epic run on the program.

“I decided I’m not coming back this year,” Kandi said on the red carpet of this year’s Grammy Awards.

“It’s been 14 seasons, and they allowed us to sit around for a little too long, but during that time I had started working on a lot of other things.

“I got some nice big projects coming soon, so I’m super excited about those things.”

Aside from Porsha, Bravo has not yet announced who will be a cast member on new episodes, which are expected to go into production later this year.

Stephen Amell Cast as Lead in Suits Spinoff!!!!!!!!!!

He rose to small screen fame as a superhero.

But now Stephen Amell is ready to put on a different type of suit.

On Tuesday, it was announced that the actor has been cast as Ted Black, the lead of the wildly-anticipated Suits spinoff greenlit a few weeks ago by NBC.

An earlier press release described Black as “charismatic force of nature who puts his own needs above others.”

Titled Suits: LA, the spinoff has a pilot order at NBC and is being written and executive-produced by Suits creator Aaron Korsh.

The drama will reportedly follow Amell’s character, a former federal prosecutor from New York who has reinvented himself and who now represents the most powerful clients in Los Angeles after joining forces years prior with his old friend, Stuart Lane, to build a law firm that specializes in criminal and entertainment law.

However, according to NBC, now the firm is at a crisis point — and, in order to survive, Ted must embrace a role he held in contempt throughout career.

Earlier this year, we learned that Suits was streamed for a total of 57.7 billion minutes on Netflix in 2023, years after it signed off the air as a USA Network hit.

The original version aired from 2011 through 2019 and found its way back into the public consciousness after one of its leads, Meghan Markle, started to date Prince Harry.

She is now his wife, of course.

And the couple has two kids.

The original Suits featured Patrick J. Adams as con man-turned-lawyer Mike Ross… who became the young protégé to Gabriel Macht’s legal shark Harvey Specter at a top Big Apple firm.

The program also starred Gina Torres, Sarah Rafferty and Rick Hoffman.

Most of these cast members, when asked about a potential Suits spinoff, have said they would happily come on board.

Markle, from what we’ve heard, would demand a huge salary to join the new cast.

As for the very handsome Stephen Amell?

He most recently starred in the Starz’s wrestling drama Heels, which aired for 16 episodes on the cable network.

However, he’s best known for portraying Oliver Queen (a.k.a. the Green Arrow) over the course of eight years on The CW — first on the show Arrow and then at various times on The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Black Lightning and Batwoman.

Amell will next be seen in hthes Netflix sci-fi movie sequel Code: 8 Part II with his cousin Robbie Amell.

Why Was Shane Gillis Fired from Saturday Night Live?

On February 24, Shane Gillis will host Saturday Night Live.

In a vacuum, this decision by producers should not come as a surprise… considering Gillis is a very successful stand-up comedian whose special on YouTube in 2021 has garnered over 23 million views.

Gillis also has filmed a Netflix special titled “Beautiful Dogs,” which was released last September.

And most recently, he agreed to partnership with Bud Light for his upcoming stand-up tour.

Gillis is a funny guy and will probably do a solid job, but here’s the thing:

Shane Gillis was hired to be a cast member by Saturday Night Live in 2019. And then he was fired a short time later by Saturday Night Live.

Like, days later.

Ahead of Season 45, executives reversed course on Gillis’ hiring after a clip of him using an anti-Asian slur on his podcast went viral on Twitter.

On one installment of his podcast with fellow Matt McCusker, the hosts riffed about Chinatown, prompting to Gillis use the aforementioned slur while also imitating a Chinese accent by using the word “nooders” instead of noodles.

“Let the f-ckin ch-nks live there,” Gillis said at the time.

Gillis apologized and also said he was “comedian who pushes boundaries” that sometimes misses the mark, stating he may very continue to make jokes that some deemed to be inappropriate.

It may not have helped Shane’s cause back then that the show had also just hired Bowen Yang, its first-ever Asian-American cast member.

“We want SNL to have a variety of voices and points of view within the show, and we hired Shane on the strength of his talent as a comedian and his impressive audition for SNL,” a spokesperson for executive producer Lorne Michaels told NBC News in 2019.

“We were not aware of his prior remarks that have surfaced over the past few days.

“The language he used is offensive, hurtful and unacceptable.”

Not permanently, though, apparently.

It should be rather interesting to see how this topic is addressed when Gillis takes to the stage on February 24.

Get your popcorn ready, folks!

Suits Spinoff: New Details Released! Will Meghan Markle Come on Board?!?

It is all happening, television fans.

Following the news that Suits was the most-streamed show on the planet in 2023 — recent reports indicate that the former USA Network drama was watched for a total of 57.7 BILLION minutes on Netflix last year — talk of a Suits spinoff has been circulating around the Internet for months.

And now it’s official.

On February 1, NBC revealed that the upcoming series will be titled Suits: L.A.

The series will chronicle former New York federal prosecutor Ted Black, who has reinvented himself as one of the top attorneys in Los Angeles.

On the premiere, according to this network, Black’s firm has reached a “crisis point” — and, in order to turn things around, he must take on a role he’s always held in contempt.

“Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives,” reads the NBC message.

“All of this is going on while events from years ago slowly unravel that led Ted to leave behind everything and everyone he loved.”

The original version of Suits aired on USA from 2011 through 2019.

It has found a new life on Netflix, partly because it’s a pretty well done and interesting program that doesn’t require a great deal of thought or attention.

And largely because it formerly starred Meghan Markle.

Yes, that Meghan Markle.

With Markle no longer a member of the Royal Family… and with Markle and Prince Harry struggling with their finances… many folks are now asking the inevitable question:

Will Markle appear on the Suits spinoff?

From what we’ve heard, Markle would demand an enormous salary in order to agree to a starring role.

But let’s stop and think about it for a moment: Could any salary for Markle be unreasonable?!?

Is there any chance that any series featuring this actress-turned-Royal-turned-actress-again would NOT be a huge hit?

Suits creator Aaron Kosh will helm the spinoff, while Doug Liman will serve as an executive producer on the show… which is set to begin production in Vancouver in March.

No premiere date has been set.

No casting decisions have been announced.

But plenty of original cast members sound like they’re anxious to get a call.

“If I got the phone call, I’d be ready to suit up again,” Patrick Adams told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published January 7.

“I loved the show, I love the characters and I loved working with all these people.”

We’ll let you know when Markle says something similar.

Jon Stewart Books Shocking Return to The Daily Show!

Jon Stewart is on his way back to the show that made him extremely famous.

On Wednesday, the veteran comedian made the surprising announcement that he’ll soon return to The Daily Show — both as executive producer through 2025 and also as part-time host.

Beginning on February 12, Stewart will once again sit behind this Comedy Central desk and crack wise about the news.

Just in time for the 2024 Presidential Election, of course.

A rotating list of stars will fill in on the other days of the week.

“Stewart is the voice of our generation, and we are honored to have him return to Comedy Central’s ‘The Daily Show’ to help us all make sense of the insanity and division roiling the country as we enter the election season,” Chris McCarthy, chief executive of Showtime and MTV Entertainment Studios, said in a statement this morning.

“In our age of staggering hypocrisy and performative politics.

“Jon is the perfect person to puncture the empty rhetoric and provide much-needed clarity with his brilliant wit.”

Stewart served as full-time host of the program for 16 years.

He left in 2015 and later signed a deal to host a weekly series for Apple.

The Daily Show, for its part, went ahead and hired Trevor Noah as The Daily Show host.

He left the role in late 2022 and the show has since used various hosts on a weekly basis ever since.

On Wednesday, Stewart joked on Twitter with references to the collegiate sports transfer system that he was headed to a new challenge.

“Friends. After much reflection I have decided to enter the transfer portal for my last year of eligibility. Excited for the future!” he wrote, prior to listing his measurements as follows:

Noah, meanwhile, celebrated Stewart’s announcement with a post on social, writing, “Yessssssss he’s back.”

John Oliver, however, a former Daily Show correspondent, was a bit more reticent in his praise and/or excitement.

“I mean, that is a surprise,” Oliver said.

“That’s a show that needs a host. He certainly is a very, very good one. So yeah, it’ll be exciting to see what he does. I do think after 2025 they should appoint a permanent host.

“I would have hired Roy Wood or Amber Ruffin is very good but it’s going to be very exciting to see Jon in an election year.”
