One would think that, after nearly two decades of marriage, Tori and Dean would share a very clear idea of when the marriage ended.

They are, at least, seeing eye-to-eye on some things. Though Tori Spelling asked for sole physical custody of Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn, and Beau, she did express that she feels open to join legal custody and to visitation rights for Dean.

A source close to the situation tells People that the organization filed on time. However, it seems a check that was mailed to the state was never received.

The first-ever American Idol winner has also dropped MANY pounds, prompting speculation that she’s taking the weight loss drug Ozempic.

“Mine is a different one than people assume, but I ended up having to do that too because my bloodwork got so bad,” Clarkson explained on air of the weight loss drug she uses, adding:

“My doctor chased me for two years, and I was like, ‘No, I’m afraid of it. I already have thyroid problems. Everybody thinks it’s Ozempic, but it’s not. It’s something else.”

Clarkson detailed how this unnamed medication is “something that aids in helping break down the sugar,” noting how her body “doesn’t do it right.”

Ozempic has become extremely popular over the last several months, especially among celebrities.

It is an FDA-approved prescription medications for people with type 2 diabetes and it works by convincing the brain that one is not hungry.

Clarkson — who finalized her ugly divorce from Brandon Blackstock in 2022 — told viewers that she was inspired to change after seeing a video of herself perform… and scarcely being able to recognize herself.

Standing five foot three inches call, the artist said she was at 203 pounds at one point; that marked her heaviest weight.

“I eat a healthy mix. I dropped weight because I’ve been listening to my doctor — a couple years I didn’t,” Kelly told People Magazine in January.

“And 90 percent of the time I’m really good at it because a protein diet is good for me anyway.”

Terrible news today out of the world of journalism and entertainment:

Sam Rubin, a popular reporter on KTLA since way back 1991, passed away on Friday from a heart attack.

He was 64 years old.

The reporter appeared on air just a day before his shocking death, with colleagues saying he showed no signs of illness on May 9 or of any of anything being wrong at all.

Rubin remained with only KTLA for the duration of his career, which kicked off over three decades ago and which quickly established Rubin as a star in his industry due to his breadth film and television — along with his charisma.

On camera, Rubin was known to be jocular and warm, often talking about his activities with his wife and four kids.

He came across every A-lister you can imagine or cite, as an interview with Rubin was a regular part of any promotional tour.

“Sam was an icon in Los Angeles and the entertainment industry and he was a beloved member of our Nexstar Nation. My prayers are with his family and the KTLA family as we mourn his passing. He will be missed,” Perry Sook, chairman and CEO of Nexstar, said in a statement.

Added NBC Los Angeles anchor Lynette Romero, who worked with Rubin at KTLA for nearly 25 years:

“He would appreciate all of us saying how much we loved him…

“I don’t think he knew that this was his dream job. I don’t think he knew this was his destiny, but it was.

“He knew every celebrity and every celebrity knew him. I don’t know if there’s one person he wanted to interview that he didn’t get to interview…

“It will be very hard to move on past that, but he would want that. And he would want all of us to remember him and think of him and smile because he did that for other people.”

Actor Yvette Nicole Brown called “a friend” on Twitter, noting “I enjoyed all the times I got to visit him at KTLA.”

And Rubin’s longtime colleague and friend Frank Buckley praised the late reporter as follows:

“The Sam that you saw on the air is the Sam that was off the air. Our hearts are broken. To all of us he shared his mornings with on television, and to those he worked with behind the scenes … we will not forget him. Quite simply, Sam was KTLA.”

Sam Rubin is survived by his wife, Leslie, and four children. May he rest in peace.

The popular HGTV renovation show Fixer to Fabulous appears to have been impacted by a divorce.

If you’re a fan of the show, you may have noticed that Chase Looney is no longer a member of the cast.

His abrupt, unexplained departure has sparked questions and rumors among viewers.

Chase Looney Was a Member of The ‘Fixer to Fabulous’ Family From the Start

Though Dave and Jenny Marr are the names most commonly associated with Fixer to Fabulous, Chase was along for the ride from the very beginning.

“He wasn’t really given an option NOT to be with us on the show, but he graciously came along for the ride and we couldn’t imagine not having him with us,” Jenny once wrote on Facebook, according to Closer (via Yahoo!).

Sadly, shortly after filming the pilot episode, Chase was badly injured in a freak accident.

Chase Looney’s Eye Injury: What Happened?

In July of 2022, Chase was setting up a fireworks display when one of the projectiles went off and struck him in the eye.

“The following days in the hospital, I was given the news that I lost my eye,” he wrote on Instagram at the time.

“That it would have to be removed. That I might not have movement in the left side of my face and that the scarring would be permanent,”

“I told them, ‘I don’t think I have the face for TV anymore.’ Through tears and laughter, they reassured me I never had a face for TV anyway,” he wrote.

Chase continued to appear on the show, now with an eye patch. But it looks as though his TV tenure has now come to an end.

Fixer to Fabulous Divorce: What Happened?

Though he’s never explicitly confirmed as much, it looks as though Chase and his wife, Chelsie, have called it quits.

In January of 2023, Chelsie alluded to the split in a Facebook post.

“Life is different with just the three of us,” Chase captioned a photo of his two children shortly thereafter.

One month later, he confirmed his departure from Fixer to Fabulous.

“Flashback to a simple, farm-style table I did for a little show I used to be a part of,” Chase captioned a photo of a picnic table.

“Miss you brother!” Dave Marrs commented on the post. “So happy the fire department is going well. Great stuff and hope you come back to the team soon!”

So it seems that Chase has returned to his previous career as a firefighter.

“Any chance you’ll be in fixer to fabulous season 5? Miss seeing you bud, you should have your own show,” a fan commented ahead of the show’s most recent season premiere.

“Sorry, no chance. But thank you so much for the kind words,” Looney replied.

Due to the timing, it’s safe to assume that Chase’s departure from the show was related to his divorce.

But it might be a long time before we have any additional information.

Dream alum Melissa Schuman has made her Nick Carter allegations public.

Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter has been challenging the women who accuse him of rape in court.

His attorneys have attempted to prove that, despite a California law allowing survivors to report sexual assault after the fact, that their cases don’t qualify to due to the statute of limitations.

Carter has not had much luck convincing the court of that. Not in the case of Melissa Schuman, one of his accusers.

Multiple women have accused Nick Carter of sexual assault

In January of 2024, Rolling Stone offered a detailed account of Nick Carter’s failed attempt to dismiss former Dream singer Melissa Schuman’s rape lawsuit.

His legal team argued that Schuman’s case belonged in Las Vegas. Notably, Carter had already filed suit against Schuman and two other women who accused him of sexual assault.

Famous men suing their accusers for “defamation” can have a ripple effect. Not only is it a strategy to combat allegations, but it can silence others who might speak out — against anyone who might have the funds to sue.

As the judge noted, Schuman alleged that Nick Carter sexually assaulted her in Santa Monica, California (notably not in Vegas) in 2003.

Carter’s team’s argument included a claim that the court case should take place in Vegas to avoid “inconsistent rulings” with Carter’s other case, like the lawsuit by Sannon Ruth and the lawsuit by Jane Doe A.R.

“The alleged conduct occurred in California,” the judge ruled in January. “The community has an interest in resolving claims arising out of conduct in this jurisdiction.”

Los Angeles prosecutors dismissed Melissa Schuman’s criminal case against Nick Carter in 2018

In 2017, Schuman shared her allegations against Carter. She accused him of having sexually assaulted her during the early 2000s, and specifically of using his status as a popular entertainer to gain access to and coerce alleged victims like her.

After going public, Melissa Schuman wrote online on her personal blog (which does not appear to exist any longer, though People documented its contents) that the two had been working together at his house. Carter and Schuman appeared in a film together.

Schuman alleged that after some kissing, Carter performed oral sex on her in a bathroom without her consent and over her objections. She told him, she wrote, that she was a virgin and wished to wait to have sex until marriage. According to Schuman’s description of events, he then led her to his bedroom and raped her.

In fact, he has denied all of the rape allegations. The result has been legal battles against the women who have come forward.

Memorably, and prior to his tragic death in 2022, Nick’s younger brother Aaron Carter publicly sided with Nick’s accusers. Aaron had a long and troubled history, but people still paid attention when he spoke up.

Now, on the heels of Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV, a new four-part docuseries will cover Nick Carter and Aaron Carter, including the allegations against the former.

Investigation Discovery and Max (formerly HBO Max, back when it was good) will run Fallen Idols: Nick and Aaron Carter on two nights.

Notably, Melissa Schuman’s allegations are part of the docuseries. So are the late Aaron Carter’s social media posts, showing support to his brother’s accusers.

This is certainly a situation full of uncomfortable topics and various legal and personal complexities. It’s unclear if one docuseries can do justice to even one set of allegations, let alone to them all and the Carter family dynamic.

Meri Brown simply cannot win when it comes to her professional life.

Previously, the long-time Sister Wives star worked as a salesperson for LuLaRoe, a fashion company that pretty much everyone believes to be a pyramid scheme.

It really did seem like a pretty shady endeavor.

Now, meanwhile, Meri appears to have left that business behind…

… but many fans aren’t thrilled with what she has replaced it with.

Just a few days ago, Meri announced that she had launched a company named after a phrase she often uses on social media: Worthy Up.

“I’ve spent the better part of the past decade taking a good look at myself and figuring out who I am, what I want, and where I’m going. I had to Worthy Up,” Brown shared via the company’s Facebook page on Friday, April 26.

“This community is a place where I will share my personal experiences of growth and hope to support you in your journey, too.”

According to this Facebook page, Worthy Up is “a community focused on transformation and self discovery” and “a safe space for individuals to grow, connect, and inspire one another.”

We said at the time of our reporting that we weren’t exactly sure what any of this meant; we were confused by what the company actually does.

Fast forward to May 6 and Meri talking more in depth in an Instagram video about this “passion project.”

At one point, Brown mentioned that membership costs for Worthy Up cost anywhere from $150 to $600 per year, prompting quite a bit of consternation and annoyance from a number of users.

“What is this that would cost $600 a year? Putting your self on a list? I don’t understand what this is about?” one fan asked.

“What IS it? The ‘community’ what does that mean?” another user commented, while a third fan agreed as follows:

“Is it an [MLM]? A book? A course? A podcast? What is it?? What are ppl paying for??”

In the clip above, Meri is sitting on a porch and looking down at her knees, prior to stating in a voiceover:

The video then goes over to Meri in a confessional … explaining that she’s had times where she’s felt “supported,” but also times where she was in a “dark place.”

However, she knew she was “not the only person in the world” who dealt with this, saying into the camera:

This sounds very admirable.

And we appreciate the perspective Meri has often had on her life, its trials, its tribulations and all she’s gone through with Kody Brown.

The Duggar dress code has become infamous in recent years.

And while it mostly applies to the female members of the family, men and boys are not exempt.

So Jason knew that he would face disapproval from his parents by posting such a pic. But it seems that he didn’t really care.

It’s tough to say. There have been rumors that Jason and Jill don’t get along, and he seems to be more politically conservative than some of his more progressive sisters.

Prince William has left Kate Middleton overnight. It’s his first trip of this kind in months, and with good reason.

During recent months, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s lives have been “hell,” as some reports have put it.

Kate’s cancer battle is the most significant factor. But it is not the only issue that the Prince and Princess of Wales are facing.

Even the monarchy’s harshest critics can understand why William has avoided straying far from home. This is his first overnight trip since Kate’s diagnosis.

On Thursday, May 9, Prince William took a major step. He embarked upon his first overnight trip away from the Princess of Wales following her cancer diagnosis, let alone her cancer reveal to the public.

According to a report by Fox News, William feels “very relaxed” about the decision. Despite the circumstances.

Part of that may be the purpose of his trip. He traveled to the Duchy of Cornwall (an estate that belongs to him as crown prince) to work on a housing project.

Ian Pelham is a royal expert, and he spoke about Prince William’s housing project that took him away from Kate Middleton (for a short time).

“Homeward, the charity for homeless people, is very much at the heart of what William wishes to drive forward,” Pelham emphasized. “And, in reality, is only a short flight away if Kate had any sudden issues.”

The expert explained: “As the Prince of Wales, he also inherits the Duchy of Cornwall, where he is staying overnight in the county.”

Though William takes after Charles in some unfortunate ways, he also walks in his late mother’s footsteps

“I know through contacts close to William working with him on the project that he works tirelessly every day to make the rough sleepers project work,” Pelham continued.

Notably, “rough sleepers” is a very British euphemism for people experiencing homelessness. The euphemism understates the predicament, as if they were insomniacs, but it could be much worse.

“There are several sites around the country which he hopes will be developed to offer rough sleepers support,” Pelham added.

“Obviously, William feels that Kate is on the mend now,” Pelham then asserted.

“And,” the royal expert then reported, “he has been very relaxed leaving London and seen in Cornwall.”

Pelham was quick to pivot to discussing the house-building project. He teased that William is likely to make further visits, and to involve “one of the richest men in Britain.”

Leaving Kate overnight is a big step

With the exception of the documented, grim phenomenon of men who abandon their wives during cancer treatments, most loving partners are reluctant to leave a cancer patient’s side. They might need you. Or things could very rapidly become worse.

But Prince William knows that Kate Middleton has first-rate medical care. He also has a lot of responsibilities. British taxpayers contribute tens of millions to his family every year and afford them vast legal and political privileges. Giving back is part of that social contract.

And given King Charles’ cancer battle, it’s possible that William’s role within the family may expand sooner than anyone had imagined.

As you may have previously heard, Kris Jenner will reveal that on The Kardashians Season 5 that she was recently diagnosed with a tumor.

This is obviously a very frightening development for the polarizing television personality.

Aside from Jenner’s physical health, however, another major focus of new episodes of this Hulu reality series will be the health of a certain relationship between sisters.

No, we’re not talking about Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian, who previously feuded on air.

Instead, this summer, it looks like the focus will shift to Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian.

In the first trailer for Season 5, Kim tells viewers that she and her loved ones have agreed to slow down a bit this year so that they can be “present in the moment,” only for Khloe to scoff and laugh and remark:

“Have the Kardashians slowed down? No.”

From there, the preview cuts to shots of family members at Fashion Week, along with Kim entering her “actress era” with her role on American Horror Story: Delicate… Kourtney’s pregnancy with Travis Barker… and then, as cited above, a bit of fighting between siblings.

In the video, Kim trashes Khloe for being “very judgmental,” prior to eventually labeling her as “unbearable” — while telling her sister she has a “stick up your ass.”

Yikes, huh?!?

As the two clash, Khloe informs Kim that she is “going through a lot right now” and “taking it out on me,” before Kim yells at Khloe to “get out!”

As is often the case, these brand new episodes were filmed a long time ago, as a lot of time it spent on Kourtney’s high-risk pregnancy… even though Kardashian gave birth months ago.

There’s also this fun quote from Khloe, who points to her chest in the promo and states:

“These aren’t my nipples, just so you guys know. They’re Kim’s.”

We’re glad we now know this, whatever the heck that means.
