So, she asked Mama to help pay her tuition, thinking Mama would say yes. Unfortunately, Mama refused to help her pay for college on Mama June: Family Crisis. No doubt, Alana was in shock, but then, things got worse when June hit Alana and the whole family with a devastating truth bomb.

June Shocks the Family

When Mama said she wouldn’t come out of pocket for Alana, she asked about the money that was put away for her when she was younger. While growing up, she did several reality shows. First, she started on Toddlers & Tiaras.

Then, her own reality show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. Also, Dancing with the Stars and The Masked Singer. Legally, June was obligated to put 20% of her earnings into a Coogan account.

Mama June: Family Crisis star Alana Thompson and her longtime boyfriend Dralin Carswell are gearing up to make some big changes to their lives. The WEtv reality television personality recently graduated from high school and reveals she will soon begin the next chapter of her life by starting college.

The Mama June: Family Crisis season may be over, but reality star Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson looks forward to the future. Alana and her family ended the season happily. It seems that Mama June Shannon finally got her wish. She reconciled with her daughters, Alana, Lauryn Efird, Jessica Shannon, and Anna Cardwell. In addition, she had the wedding of her dreams with her husband Justin Stroud.

So now Alana says she and her boyfriend Dralin are making final plans and preparations to move across the county to Denver. Alana shares that she will continue her education at Regis University in Denver, Colorado where she will study nursing.

Dralin Carswell and Alana Thompson reside in off-campus housing for a few reasons. But mainly for security reasons. They feel that since Alana is a well-known television personality, she will remain much safer living off campus.

Dralin Dreams of Having a Family with Former Honey Boo Boo Star

Alana says Dralin may be more excited about their move than she is. The Mama June: Family Crisis couple have been dating for three years, and often talks about their future together. The move will be a new experience for Dralin, who’s lived his entire life in the same Georgia town.

Many WEtv are curious about the couple’s future plans. They admit that their discussions about their future together are a bit more serious now that Alana graduated from high school. However, the reality star says she is in no hurry to marry.

Alana of Family Crisis says she and Dralin care deeply for each other. But, at this moment she states, “I can’t say that [he’s the one] because I don’t know what life holds. Any day now, anything can happen, but I hope.” She feels they have plenty of time to figure out what lies ahead for them. Thompson says they disagree on one thing at this time. She admits that she doesn’t want children. But Dralin wants kids. So that will be an important topic of discussion down the line.

Mama June: Family Crisis- Is Reality TV Life Over for Alana?

Alana says her reality television career is a huge part of her life. At this time, she says there’s some interest in filming her life at college. But her main focus is on her education.

Mama June: Family Crisis fans asked if last season was it for the reality series. At this time, no official confirmation from the network has been announced a decision either way. But, time will tell.
