Kyle Abbott Drowning in Resentment on Young and the Restless

A while back, on Y&R, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) told his mom, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), that she should take the CO-CEO position at the family company, Jabot Cosmetics. He was trying to be gracious even though he wanted the position for himself.

But now, it’s coming back to bite him. Working under his mother is much harder than he anticipated. He’s finding it difficult to take orders from her and is lashing out. They’re butting heads at the office and bringing it home as well.

Instead of getting better with time, things are only getting worse on Young and the Restless. This week, Kyle confides in his ex-wife, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), and she helps him decide what his next steps should be.

Summer Helps Kyle See the Light on Y&R

This week, Summer runs into Kyle while he is drinking at the bar in the Neil Winter’s Jazz Lounge. Of course, she knows him well and can tell something is up with him. So, she presses him to open up to her.

Kyle finally admits to his ex how deeply he resents Diane on Young and the Restless. Furthermore, he tells her how Diane is constantly making mistakes and he’s the one cleaning up her messes.

He thinks she’s unqualified for the position and he would be much better at it. After his discussion with Summer, he realizes he has to make a choice. Either he leaves the company altogether or proves Diane is unfit and goes after her job.

Diane Finally Going Down on Young and the Restless?

Indeed, it looks as though Kyle might fight to take his mom’s place at Jabot rather than bow out gracefully. If so, things are about to get extremely messy between mother and son. If Kyle tries to take her down, Diane may never forgive him.

It could destroy their bond forever if he tries to steal her job. No doubt she would be humiliated in front of her colleagues, especially if Kyle plays dirty. He certainly has a dark side on Young and the Restless.

And he is not afraid to go there from time to time. If he lets it take over, things may never be the same between him and Diane. Many others have tried to destroy her since her return to Genoa City.

But, in the end, it could be her own son that causes the most damage. The drama is picking up on Y&R. Keep watching to see if Kyle Abbott plots to destroy his mother on the CBS sudser.

Young and the Restless Weekly Spoilers: Kyle Abbott Spars with Diane

This week, on Y&R, Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) resentment of his mom, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), gets the best of him. Next week, Kyle pushes Diane too far and she has to remind him that she is his superior. He reports to her — she does not report to him.

Sarcastically, he snipes at her to forgive him if he overstepped. Clearly, Kyle is not handling his mother’s promotion at Jabot Cosmetics well. She has the job he wants and even though he said he was happy for her,  it’s a better pill for him to swallow.

Soon, on Young and the Restless, Kyle may take a dark turn. He could very well try to sabotage Diane at work and steal her job. If so, it likely won’t go over well with his father, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

And if Kyle pushes too far, he could end up getting fired from Jabot. Then, he could spiral out of control and start acting out again on Young and the Restless.

Indeed, that won’t sit well with Kyle’s ex-wife, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier). Currently, they are co-parenting peacefully. However, if he starts lashing out and acting erratically, it could throw a wrench into their parenting relationship.

Lily Contemplates Next Move on Y&R

Additionally, on Young and the Restless, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) struggles with her next move. Now that Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) has left her for Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom), Lily is unsure if she wants to fire Heather from Chancellor-Winters or not.

Next week, Lily has a confrontation with Heather. Then she has an awkward run-in with Daniel. Of course, she doesn’t want to see the two of them blissfully happy every day. But she also can’t fire them without cause. Perhaps she will turn to Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) for legal advice.

Young and the Restless Weekly Spoilers: Tucker Goes Too Far

Elsewhere, on Y&R, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) makes things worse with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). When Audra refuses to talk to him, he gets a little too rough and grabs her arm.

That’s when Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) walks in and doesn’t like what he sees. He comes to Audra’s rescue and Tucker gets annoyed. Indeed, his behavior might push Audra right into Nate’s arms on Young and the Restless. It’s no secret that she finds Nate attractive.

Currently, on Y&R, Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) fling with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) is over. Fans will recall Kyle got hot and heavy with Audra right after his split from Summer.

In fact, it seemed that their first steamy night with Audra played a big part in him wanting to officially separate from Summer. Of course, he was hurt by Summer.

She let his mom, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), go down for the “murder” of her mom, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), when she knew she was alive.

But he wasted no time hopping in bed with Audra on Young and the Restless. It was a distraction from Summer’s betrayal. Plus, he probably wanted to punish her. But now, he is not on great terms with Audra, and their time is up.

So, Kyle has time to think and probably regrets being so hard on Summer. Now that he’s not with Audra, he might want to repair their relationship. However, it looks like Summer has other plans…

Summer Newman after Chance on Y&R

Right now, Summer finally has a shot with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) on Young and the Restless. The former cop is now single because Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) just dumped him. Not long after, Summer ran into him at Society.

She could tell something was wrong, so she tried to cheer him up. Eventually, he will likely confide in her and tell him what happened with Sharon. Of course, Summer will feel bad for him, but that’s her opportunity to make her move.

She’s had feelings for Chance for quite a while now on Young and the Restless. And he’s finally available. So, it’s unlikely she’ll pass up the opportunity to be with him — even for Kyle…

Summer Rejects Kyle on Young and the Restless?

Now, it’s highly likely that if Kyle tells Summer he wants another chance, she’ll shoot him down. Yes, she messed up by hiding the fact that her mom was alive, but Kyle crushed her. Mostly because he moved on so quickly with Audra.

Kyle was extremely hard on her and basically chose Audra over her. And, of course, Audra is a schemer who cannot be trusted, and he likely never had a future with her. It looked as though he would inevitably try to get back with Summer someday on Young and the Restless.

So, next week, he’s officially on board with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) to steal the company. However, his father, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), starts to lose patience.

Later, on Young and the Restless, Audra irritates Kyle. Then Jack turns to his sister Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) for a favor. So, he may want help with Kyle. Later on, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) comes down hard on Kyle.

Currently, on Y&R, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is making one bad choice after another. Since he found out Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) chose to save her mother over his, Kyle has been acting out of character.

He felt deeply betrayed that Summer let his mother, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), sit in prison while her mother, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), pretended to be dead.

That was the end of “Skyle” on Young and the Restless. And Kyle waited all about two minutes before hopping in the sack with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).

Y&R spoilers confirm Audra tempts Kyle soon. He’s already mad at Jack so he may accept her offer. He and Audra get C-suite positions if he helps Tucker take over Jabot. That way, he gets a prestigious position without having to climb the corporate ladder.

All he has to do is completely betray his family. If he goes through with this, his father and the rest of the Abbott family may never forgive him on Young and the Restless. Sure, he’ll have Audra and the job he wants, but he could easily lose both as quickly as he gets them.
