Mother's Day Brunch Menu Ideas: Celebrating the Amazing Women in Our Lives

Mother's Day is a special occasion to celebrate the incredible women who have nurtured, supported, and loved us throughout our lives. It's a time to honor the mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and other maternal figures who have profoundly impacted our journey.

One of the best ways to celebrate Mother's Day is by hosting a delicious brunch. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a big family feast, there are plenty of options to make the day extra special. Here are some Mother's Day brunch ideas to inspire you.

Egg Benedict

1. Classic Brunch Favorites

Sometimes, the simplest things are the most satisfying. But, of course, you can always go right with classic brunch staples like pancakes, waffles, Egg Benedict, and bacon. Add toppings like fresh fruits, whipped cream, and chocolate chips to the pancakes and waffles to make it extra special. Serve the Egg Benedict with a side of roasted asparagus or sautéed mushrooms. And don't forget the mimosas!

Egg Benedict Recipe

Egg Benedict is a classic breakfast dish that is one of my favorites. To make this dish, you will need the following ingredients: English muffins, Canadian bacon or ham, eggs, butter, lemon juice, and hollandaise sauce.

First, toast the English muffins until they are lightly browned. While they are toasting, fry the Canadian bacon or ham in a pan until it is crispy.

Next, poach the eggs. To do this:

1. To prepare, heat a pot of water until it starts to simmer. Then, add a small amount of vinegar to the water.

2. Crack an egg into a small bowl and carefully transfer it into the water.

3. Repeat with the remaining eggs.

4. Cook the eggs for approximately 3-4 minutes until the egg whites are firm but the egg yolks are still liquid.

While the eggs are poaching, make the hollandaise sauce. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Combine the egg yolks, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt in a blender. Blend until smooth. Slowly pour the melted butter with the blender running until the sauce is thick and creamy.

Place a toasted English muffin half on a plate to assemble the Egg Benedict. Top with a slice of Canadian bacon or ham, then a poached egg. Spoon hollandaise sauce over the top and garnish with chopped parsley or chives. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Quiche Lorraine

2. French-Inspired Brunch

If you want to add a touch of elegance to your Mother's Day brunch, consider a French-inspired menu. You can start with a cheese and charcuterie board, with brie, goat cheese, prosciutto, and crusty baguette. Next, you can serve Quiche Lorraine, croque-madame, or savory crepes filled with ham, cheese, and mushrooms for the main course. Finally, finish off the meal with some macarons or crème brûlée.

Quiche Lorraine Recipe

To make Quiche Lorraine, you will need a few essential ingredients. Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F. Next, gather 1 pie crust, 6 slices of bacon, 1 cup of shredded Gruyere cheese, 4 eggs, 1 cup of heavy cream, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.

Start by cooking the bacon until it's crispy, then chop it into small pieces. Then, sprinkle half of the cheese into the pie crust, followed by the bacon. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the cheese and bacon in the pie crust.

Finally, top the quiche with the remaining cheese and bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown. Allow the quiche to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Hummus

3. Mediterranean Brunch

A Mediterranean-inspired brunch can be an excellent choice for a lighter, healthier option. You can start with a mezze platter featuring hummus, tzatziki, olives, and pita bread. You can serve a frittata with spinach, feta cheese, and sun-dried tomatoes for the main course. You can also make a salad with mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and feta cheese, dressed with a lemon vinaigrette. Finally, serve some fresh fruit and Greek yogurt for dessert.

Hummus Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:

1. To make a smooth mixture, use a food processor to combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and salt. Process for 1-2 minutes.

2. While the food processor is running, slowly pour in the water and olive oil. Process for another 1-2 minutes until the hummus is creamy and smooth.

3. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

4. Serve and enjoy with pita bread, vegetables, or crackers. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Shrimp and Grits

4. Southern-Style Brunch

A traditional Southern-style menu can be a great choice to add Southern charm to your Mother's Day brunch. You can start with biscuits and gravy, shrimp and grits, fried chicken and waffles, or a classic pimento cheese sandwich. For dessert, you can serve some peach cobbler or pecan pie. Don't forget the sweet tea!

Shrimp and Grits Recipe

To make shrimp and grits, you'll need some fresh shrimp, stone-ground grits, butter, garlic, onion, chicken broth, heavy cream, and some spices like cayenne pepper, paprika, and thyme.

First, cook the grits according to the package instructions, but use chicken broth instead of water for extra flavor. While the grits cook, sauté the chopped onion and garlic in butter until soft and fragrant.

Add the shrimp to the pan and let them cook until they're pink and cooked through. Then, add the spices and heavy cream, and let the mixture simmer until it thickens slightly.

To enjoy your meal, spoon the shrimp and sauce over the grits and add a touch of fresh parsley or green onions as a garnish.

DIY Brunch Bar with Drinks

5. DIY Brunch Bar

If you want to get creative and involve your guests in the brunch-making process, a DIY brunch bar can be a fun and interactive idea. For example, you can set up a waffle or pancake station with different batters, toppings, and syrups. You can also set up a mimosa bar with other juices, fruits, and sparkling wine. You can even set up a build-your-own bagel bar with different spreads, smoked salmon, and toppings.

Show Your Appreciation for the Special Women in Your Life

No matter what Mother's Day brunch idea you choose, remember that the most important thing is to celebrate the amazing women in your life. Take the time to show your appreciation, share some laughs and memories, and enjoy a delicious meal together. Happy Mother's Day!

Japanese Snacks from Sakuraco

I'm back with another Japanese snack box to share with you, this time from Sakuraco, the sister company of TokyoTreat Snack Box.

If you remember, I shared about Sakuraco a few years back with their Christmas theme box filled with authentic Japanese snacks from local Japanese makers in Japan.

I loved that box so much that I had to share about it once again.

Sakuraco Snack Box Purple

About Sakuraco Snack Box

Sakuraco, a Japanese snack box company, is your gateway to a world of flavors. They offer a variety of authentic Japanese snacks, each a delightful creation from local Japanese makers in Japan.

If you're a fan of Japanese snacks and love the thrill of discovering new and unique flavors, their snack boxes are a perfect match.

They have special theme boxes each month that take you on a joyous adventure that many of us, including myself, embarked on.

The theme for the Sakuraco April box is "A Night of Sakura," a captivating tradition when cherry blossoms shine in the soft glow of lanterns under the starry night sky.

The sakuraco-curated box captures the essence of yozakura, with delightful moments of savoring foods and drinks beneath the softly illuminated blossoms during nightfall.

Sakuraco Snack Box

My Review of Sakuraco Snack Box

Both Sakuraco and TokyoTreat boxes are unique in their own way.

Sakuraco focuses more on traditional Japanese snacks found in teahouses, while TokyoTreat offers a broader range of popular snacks in Japan.

Sakuraco mainly includes pastries, cakes, teas, and cookies, while TokyoTreat includes candies, chips, sodas, and chocolates.

I'm more of a fan of the Sakuraco box because I feel it's more true to Japanese snacks in teahouses, and you know how I love drinking tea.

Something about this box is more mellow and soothing, like for those who enjoy unwinding with a hot tea and a light, sweet bite.

I was discussing the Sakuraco box with Lauren, and she agreed she prefers this box over TokyoTreat, even though she also loves TokyoTreat.

How Much Does the Sakuraco Box Cost?

Sakuraco is a subscription box with several plans to choose from:

  • 12 months- $32.50/month
  • 6 months- $33.50/month
  • 3 months- $35.50/month

The 12-month plan is the best value because you save $60.

Thrill Korean Steak & Bar in Buford Georgia Review

Beef Brisket cooking on a table grill.

There is a new Korean BBQ in town called Thrill Korean Steak & Bar!  And when I saw the sign on the new building in Buford, in The Exchange shopping center, I knew I needed to check them out.  Plus, since it's in my area, I like to try each new food establishment at least once to give my support.

I'm not going to lie; when I read the Thrill Korean Steak & Bar sign on the building, I thought it would be like a steakhouse.

Honestly, I wish it was.  The reason is that there are so many Korean BBQs all over Duluth and Suwanee, and now trickling into Buford.

It's not that I don't like Korean BBQs; I actually eat at different locations with my family three times a month because it's so good and fulfilling.  I just wanted a new Korean dining experience and style of cuisine.

Thrill Korean Steak & Bar: Bar Seating area with TVs.

I visited Thrill Korean Steak & Bar with my youngest daughter during their soft opening weekend.  Walking inside, I loved the sophisticated atmosphere and the dark, contemporary, modern decor.  The perfect setting for date nights and parties.

When we arrived at our table, I found out it was a Korean BBQ since there were grills at each table.

Then, looking at the menu, I saw that it was an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ.  I try to avoid all-you-can-eat Korean BBQs because they are notorious for serving poor-quality meats.

But we were already seated, so I kept an open mind and did not try to be biased.

When I looked at the menu, I noticed a variety of unmarinated and marinated proteins, including beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, and calamari, as well as a wide selection of appetizers.

Thrill Korean Steak & Bar Side Dishes

And I can't forget the sides!  A great selection of side dishes that automatically serve at your table.

So, everything on the menu, including soft drinks, sides,  appetizers, and proteins, are all included for $45 per person (Dinner Price).  A good price!  And you can eat up to 2 hours, giving you plenty of time to try out all the foods.

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Now, a la carte items like fried rice, wings, and desserts are on the menu for an extra fee.  (I've never seen dessert options at Korean BBQs).

Now, it's time to eat!

We could only choose two proteins at a time, and the protein size is the number of people at your table; for example, we picked marinated Galbi, and our server brought out two slices of beef ribs and then cut them up on the grill.

Beef Belly cooking on the grill

This goes for all meats, like the thinly sliced briskets, which are enough for how many guests you have at your table.

But no worries, you can keep ordering proteins over and over for two hours, and to be honest, I was full way before that time.

My favorite meats on the menu are the marinated Galbi bone-in, Beef Belly, Beef Bulgogi, Cajun shrimp, and Beef Brisket.

And I was very impressed with the quality!  These meats are premium, just more thinly sliced and in smaller portions.  The marinated meats are seasoned very well and full of flavor.

Waiter cooking on the grill

The service is excellent, and I noticed that the servers work as a team.  I sometimes had a few servers helping with food requests and cooking our food on the grill so there wouldn't be any wasted time.

Due to this, you'll notice the servers running around different tables a lot.  This restaurant is definitely fast-paced.

Remember my concern about the meat quality since it's an all-you-can-eat establishment?

I met the owner, and she assured me that the meat quality would stay the same, just like her popular Sandy Springs location, which has been around for several years.

That's great to know.  I now have a new Korean BBQ spot to add to my growing list of favorites.

I noticed that Thrill appears more Americanized and doesn't quite offer the actual Korean BBQ experience.  Even the majority of diners eating there seemed to be Americans.

I mention this because, in my experience, seeing other Koreans dining at a Korean restaurant is a good sign that you're getting an authentic experience.  Therefore, I would recommend Thrill for those who are just starting to explore Korean cuisine.

And even if you are a Korean BBQ enthusiast like myself, it's still a great place to eat.  I even went for a second time during the grand opening weekend with both of my daughters in tow, and they loved it!

Plate full of food of beef belly, pasta, and salad.

Good food, excellent service, and fun experience!  I highly recommend it!

And if you like breakfast foods, make sure to check Snooze across the parking lot of Thrill.

How to Become a Clothes and Shoes Product Tester

How to Become a Clothes and Shoes Product Tester

Do you love clothes and shoes? Are you always on the lookout for the latest trends?

If so, becoming a clothes and shoes product tester may be your perfect job!

As a tester, you can try out new clothing and shoe designs before they hit the market.  Here are some tips on how to become a clothes and shoes tester:

1.  Research Companies that offer Testing Opportunities

Several companies offer remote opportunities for testing clothes and shoes. Below is a list of shoes and clothing product testing companies you can join for free.

New Balance

New Balance Shoes is looking for product testers. Help improve their products by testing new prototypes sent to you by mail. Once you have received your products, try them on, and then send feedback to the Research Development Team. With your help, New Balance will continue to evolve and enhance the quality, performance, and fit of its products.

AllBirds

Allbirds is currently seeking fit models and wear-testers. If you fit the profile, the Allbirds Product Testing Team will select prototypes of upcoming products for you to try out. They will then extend an invitation and deliver the products to your doorstep.

Adidas

Are you a fan of the Adidas brand? If so, they have a product testing program you can join. First, you'll need to know your measurements before signing up. After that, you'll have the opportunity to review apparel and shoes when available. Testing products are mailed to you, and you test for up to 2-4 weeks. Unfortunately, you do not keep the testing product because Adidas needs to inspect and evaluate it. So, keeping a detailed daily log of your time using their products is essential.

Saucony

Saucony has a product testing program that allows you to test their shoes and provide feedback. When working with them, you must agree not to disclose the products you review. If you live in the Greater Boston area, you can visit Saucony's lab and participate in various footwear tests onsite.

Columbia Sportswear Company

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking various enthusiasts to help test their products and give feedback.

Lululemon

If you're passionate about building and nurturing relationships that elevate your community, become a Lululemon ambassador. Through the ambassador program, ambassadors receive development tools and experiences, get products to test, meet a network of like-minded people, and score a humongous cheer squad. This partnership opens up new opportunities to make a difference in your communities and beyond.

Nike

Are you a big fan of Nike and would like to share your input about their latest products? Nike has a product testing program for kids and adults to test their shoes and clothes. They'll send you a testing package with products to test, and you will share your feedback on their website. Once done, you return products so Nike can examine them.

2.  Apply for Testing Programs

Once you have found companies that offer testing programs, apply for them like the ones I mentioned above. Make sure to read the application requirements carefully and follow all instructions. Some companies may require a certain fitness level or experience in a particular sport.

3.  Build your Social Media Presence

Many companies use social media to find testers. Build a strong social media presence by posting pictures of your outfits and engaging with other fashion enthusiasts. Use hashtags to make your posts more discoverable. You can find the most searchable Fashion hashtags on the Best Hashtags website.

Also, having a blog and posting your outfits can increase brand awareness.

4. Attend Fashion Events

Attending fashion events is an excellent way to network and meet people in the fashion industry. Look for events in your area and connect with designers, stylists, and other fashion professionals. By attending these events, you can establish a relationship and even become a brand ambassador for fashion brands. You may even get paid to showcase their latest garments.

5. Be Passionate about Fashion

To become a clothes and shoes tester, you must be passionate about fashion. Keep up with the latest trends and styles to give a thorough opinion about what clothes and shoes you want on the market.

In conclusion, becoming a clothes and shoes tester is an excellent opportunity for fashion enthusiasts who want to try out new designs and provide feedback to companies. Following these tips can increase your chances of becoming a tester and enjoying all the job's perks!

Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP Seasonal Popcorn Review

Do you know those holiday popcorn tins with three flavors of butter, caramel, and orange cheddar cheese popcorn?

I get those as a gift almost every year because when you don't know what a person wants, you can't go wrong with giving someone a popcorn tin. Who doesn't love popcorn, right?

Since I have changed my lifestyle and started eating healthier, I no longer consume holiday popcorn tins. In fact, during the last holiday season, I gave it away because it was no longer suitable for my dietary preferences.

But there are alternatives to holiday, seasonal popcorn without all the nasty ingredients.

Remember when I shared about Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP?

After discovering Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP, a gluten-free, whole grain, and non-GMO popcorn brand, I have been buying it ever since.

Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP Seasonal Popcorn Review

About Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP

Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP is a popcorn brand founded in 2001 by Dan and Angie Bastian. The company is headquartered in Minnesota and offers a range of flavors, such as Sea Salt, Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn, White Cheddar, and more.

This popcorn is created with non-GMO popcorn kernels and is gluten-free. The brand also uses simple ingredients and is free of artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives. Over the years, Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP has become increasingly popular. It can be found in many grocery stores throughout the United States and Canada.

I always grab every flavor of Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP Seasonal popcorn when I shop at Sprouts during the holiday season.

During my last shopping trip, I picked up three bags of holiday flavors:

Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP Seasonal Popcorn in a bowl

My Thoughts about Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP Seasonal Popcorns

I've been buying Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP seasonal popcorn for several years, with White Chocolate Peppermint and Dark Chocolate being my favorite.

Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP White Chocolate Peppermint Popcorn

White Chocolate Peppermint

The White Chocolate Peppermint is a delightful fusion of crushed peppermint and white chocolate pieces, which gives a light and soft crunch with every bite. The flavors are well balanced, neither too sweet nor bland, but have an ideal amount of sweetness. Imagine the perfect holiday treat combining peppermint bark and kettle corn popcorn flavors, and you have the White Chocolate Peppermint.

Also, the 4.5oz bag is only 170 calories!

Ingredients: Cane Sugar, Popcorn, Sunflower Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, Peppermint Candy Pieces (Cane Sugar, Rice Syrup, Coconut Oil, Beet Juice Concentrate [For Color], Peppermint Oil, Soy Lecithin), Nonfat Dry Milk, Whole Milk Powder, Salt, Natural Flavor.

Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP Dark Chocolate Popcorn

Dark Chocolate

Even though I'm not a big fan of dark chocolate, this flavor makes me reconsider it.

The light drizzle of chocolate on each popcorn melts in my mouth, which is so satisfying. Again, the chocolate is not too sweet, with a hint of salty goodness!

This flavor is year-round, but Dark Chocolate comes in a dark purple bag with snowflakes during the holiday season.

Ingredients: Cane Sugar, Popcorn, Sunflower Oil, Palm Kernel and Palm Oil, Cocoa Powder (Processed with Alkali), Sea Salt, Whey, Soy Lecithin, Natural Flavor.

Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP Swiss Miss Popcorn

Swiss Miss

I tried out a new flavor, Swiss Miss, which I now enjoy in popcorn form instead of drinking hot cocoa with marshmallows. It's crunchy and sweet with the drizzle of chocolate and marshmallows, making it great to munch on while watching Christmas movies.

Ingredients: Cane Sugar, Popcorn, Sunflower Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, Cocoa Powder, Salt, Whole Milk Powder, Nonfat Dry Milk, Soy Lecithin, Natural Flavors.

I hope Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP brings Swiss Miss back each holiday season.

Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP Seasonal Popcorn Review

The Downside of Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP

Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP seasonal popcorn should come in larger bags, as 4.5 oz is not enough for such an addicting snack that I finish within a couple of days.

Also, the price is about $7 for such a small bag. But as good as the popcorn is, it's worth it!

Create your Own Popcorn Tin

As I mentioned, Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP is a better alternative for holiday popcorn tins.

You can purchase empty holiday cookie tins and fill them up with Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP seasonal popcorn. It's a much more thoughtful gift with better-flavored popcorn.

Or better yet, gift yourself these popcorn bags; you deserve it!

Snooze an A.M. Eatery Now Open in Buford, Georgia

A new restaurant called Snooze, an A.M. Eatery in Buford, Georgia, serves various flavorful breakfast options.

For months, I've been watching this restaurant at The Exchange at Gwinnett, driving past it and wondering about its opening date and brunch menu. Finally, the day came when it opened, and I knew I was in for a delicious treat!

Snooze an A.M. Eatery Full Bar in Buford Georgia

About Snooze an A.M. Eatery

Snooze an A.M. Eatery is a breakfast and brunch restaurant chain in Colorado, California, Texas, Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina.

The first Snooze restaurant opened in Denver, Colorado, in 2007.  Snooze is known for its creative and tasty breakfast dishes, such as the "Build Your Own Breakfast Bowl," the "Huevos Rancheros," and the "Carnitas Breakfast Tacos." They also have a wide variety of pancakes, waffles, French toast, and other breakfast pastries.

In addition to their food, Snooze is also known for its fun and vibrant atmosphere. The restaurants are decorated in a retro style, and there is always a lively energy in the air.

Our First Tasty Experience at Snooze an A.M. Eatery

My daughters and I were invited to Snooze's soft opening charity event to try out some of the foods on the menu while Snooze's employees were training before the big opening day.

The place exuded an energetic and inviting atmosphere with its colorful, retro-modern vibe. I knew then I was in for a great experience.

What makes Snooze different from the other brunch establishments? When I asked my friendly server about Snooze, they told me that the restaurant prioritizes food allergies and is passionate about using natural ingredients from sustainable sources.

Hearing that excited us to eat at Snooze, especially since I have been on a health and wellness journey and ensure I eat healthy.

Snooze an A.M. Eatery Menu

Looking through the menu, it took a lot of work to choose! But I narrowed it down to their Fall Menu and requested the Pumpkin Pancakes, scrambled eggs with cheese, and a side of fruits. And wash it down with their freshly made Strawberry Lavender Lemonade.

Snooze an A.M. Eatery Brunch Foods in Buford Georgia

My daughter Michelle had Pineapple Upside Pancakes with Hashbrowns and Chicken Sausage Patties. And my other daughter Lauran chose the 3 Egg Omelet meal.

Our food arrived quickly and was fresh and hot despite everyone being in training. I was impressed because I expected long wait times since the restaurant was packed.

I have to say, the pumpkin pancakes Snooze made were absolutely scrumptious! They were soft and fluffy, bursting with the flavors of cinnamon and nutmeg, and had a tasty cream cheese filling in the center. They made me feel warm and cozy, perfect for the fall season.

I also had to get some of Michelle's absolutely delish pineapple pancakes! It's like the softness melts in your mouth! Perfecto!

After eating our meals, we didn't feel bloated or tired and still had the energy to go on with our day.

Snooze an A.M. Eatery Hot Chocolate

Snooze is excellent for a casual breakfast or brunch with friends or family. They offer a variety of dishes to satisfy everyone's taste, and the atmosphere is always fun and inviting. I highly recommend it! And I can't wait to stop in again and try their other meal options.

And for those who like cocktails, Snooze has a full bar to order mimosas, bloody marys, and other brunch cocktails.

Easy 30 Minutes or Less Meals Using Laura's Lean Beef

Easy 30 Minutes or Less Meals Using Laura's Lean Beef

School is in full swing here, so back to tight routines, homework, and early bedtimes. With my girls at a school farther from our house, it makes for a chaotic schedule. But, the good thing is I work from home and able to adapt and shift accordingly.

I pick both of my daughters up from school, and the first thing they ask when they settle in the car is, "What's for dinner?" because they choose to skip out on school lunch and eat from home.

To make sure they are not waiting too long before dinner is ready, I like to make easy meals that are 30 minutes or less by using ground beef.

With ground beef, there are so many possibilities of creating a tasty dish in no time flat.

Laura's Lean Ground Beef

The ground beef of choice I like to prepare my meals is using Laura's Lean, a premium, better-for-you, 92% ground beef, 96% ground beef. Laura's Lean is all-natural, bringing out the delicious, fresh taste with every nutritious meal.

Unlike most other natural beef, Laura’s Lean product is a “Never Ever” offering, meaning their protein is sourced from suppliers that raise their cattle without ever using added hormones or antibiotics and are always vegetarian fed.

Also, all products carrying Laura’s Lean claim must meet strict USDA standards to qualify as lean. That means each 4oz serving of Laura’s Lean must contain less than 10g of fat, 4.5g or less of saturated fat, and less than 95mg of cholesterol per 100g serving. Hamburgers are a huge fan favorite with my youngest daughter, Michelle. In her words, she could eat hamburgers every day if she could. Hamburgers can be made in many ways by adding your favorites toppings and condiments like cheese, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, ketchup, mayo, etc.

I like to cook a big pot of chili during the colder months, using kidney beans, ground beef, and chili seasoning. I get creative by adding sour cream, shredded cheese, and sprinkle chopped green onions on top. To make the chili more fulfilling, I add white rice on the bottom with the chili on top.

Tacos

Tacos make a great meal any day of the week, and you can make it your own way. Fill up your crispy hard shell taco with seasoned ground beef, beans, cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream, etc. And have more fun with this dish by creating taco salads, burritos, nachos, Mexican pizza.
