In the wake of reports of Britney having a fight with her boyfriend, she was quick to call out “fake news” as tabloids speculated wildly about her well being.

There’s more to what she has to say than that, however.

Britney says that people are seeing her at her worst … because someone close to her is setting her up to look bad. It may sound paranoid, but this has happened to her many, many times.

With rumors circulating that Britney Spears suffered a “breakdown” at a Los Angeles hotel, she wants to clear the air.

As we previously shared, there were claims — reports to major entertainment news outlets — about some sort of incident at the Chateau Marmont.

Following an alleged disruption, paramedics paid the room a visit. And a photographer nabbed a photo of Britney looking less than her best.

Though Britney has had alleged hotel issues in the past, the initial rumors were that she’d had an altercation with her boyfriend, Paul Soliz.

However, a furious Britney took to her Instagram at the time. She did this to show that she had an injury. But also to accuse her mother of leaking at least some aspects of what really happened.

“I know my mom was involved!!!” Britney announced in her caption. “I haven’t talked to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened before the news being out!!!”

Britney Spears feels like someone close to her is setting her up (again)

“I was set up just like she did way back when !!!” Britney described. She is referring to when people close to her would leak her daily schedule and more to tabloids in the years leading up to her conservatorship.

“I wish I had grandparents !!! I can’t stand her !!!” Britney expressed. She then admitted: “I honestly don’t care I will say it!!!”

She also gave a shout-out to attorney Mathew Rosengart, writing: “Psss this man is wonderful !!! He’s like a father to me and he got me through last night !!! I adore you and admire you mister Mathew !!!”

“I honestly wish my life was as wild as it has been portrayed!!!” Britney wrote on Monday, May 6. The post was clearly responding to rumors about her hotel “breakdown.”

She divulged: “Either way, some s–t actually has happened to my foot and I might have to get surgery. … Fingers crossed, hopefully not.”

Britney then reminded: “But I feel that I was harassed and gaslit and tricked to go on the street when my car was supposed to be there!!! I was in my pajamas and yes, I had been crying because I hurt my foot!!!”

Britney Spears has Two Children

On September 14, 2005, Britney Spears welcomed her firstborn child, Sean Preston Federline.

Almost exactly one year later, on September 12 of 2006, Britney welcomed her second son, Jayden James Federline.

Both of Britney’s boys share the same father — her ex, Kevin Federline.

Years earlier, Britney Spears became pregnant while with a different ex

Britney dated Justin TImberlake from 1999 until 2002. The two were 17 and 18, respectively, when the relationship began.

In Britney’s bestselling 2023 memoir, The Woman In Me, she wrote about becoming pregnant with Timberlake’s baby during their relationship.

They were both too young to become pregnant. According to Britney, she had an abortion, citing that she “never would have done it” if “it had been left up to me alone.”

“Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy,” Britney wrote in her tell-all book.

Meanwhile, Britney shared that she didn’t consider the news to be a “tragedy.” She had imagined that she and Timberlake would be a family and have kids one day. Clearly, he had other ambitions.

Britney was unable to make many of her own choices — like when to vacation or whether she could drink soda — for well over a decade. Being unable to have children starting in her mid-twenties and ending when she was about 40 has altered the trajectory of her life.

The former pop superstar has not yet responded to the allegations about her finances and her mental health.

Last night, however, she lashed out at her parents in an Instagram post that has since been deleted.

In the post, Britney complained of a back injury and suggested that she had been “hurt” by members of her family and denied “justice.”

“I was actually right about nerve damage in my back !!! I have to get acupuncture [sic] every day of my life now !!!” she wrote alongside a bathroom mirror selfie.

Spears and Asghari started dating in 2017 and were spouses for about five years.

Ever since their split, Asghari has defended Britney here and there, making it clear in an indirect manner that he has no negative feelings about the artist.

Asghari emphasized this point with People, too.

“I’ve always hated people leaving a certain relationship — and at some point they told each other they love each other and they sat at the same table and ate food [together] — so I never understood when people part ways [and] they talk badly about each other,” the actor said.

“That’s something I’m never going to do because I had nothing but an amazing experience and a great life, and that’s always going to be part of my life, a chapter of my life.”

Why is the alleged relationship controversial? Well, Soliz worked as Britney’s housekeeper; he reportedly would “clean toilets, mop floors, and pick up trash.”

Soliz is also a convicted felon.

While we can all understand that very good people can break laws and very bad people can operate within the law, it does raise both eyebrows and questions.

In recent years, Britney’s music has taken a backseat in lieu of her legal battles to gain her freedom.

For almost 13 years, Britney’s actions, both professionally and personally, were overseen through a conservatorship, which was held by her father Jamie Spears.

These days, it’s unclear whether Britney will ever again give fans what they want to see.

Since gaining her freedom, she has released some new music, but no full album. And when asked if she will ever perform again, she’s insisted that she doesn’t think it will ever happen.

Believe it or not, Justin Timberlake is coming out with new music. And not just for the Trolls franchise, despite the timing so close to a recent premiere.

His new single is “Selfish.” As it happens, Britney Spears came out with a song by the same name in 2011.

One day after JT released his “Selfish,” Britney’s “Selfish” hit No. 1 on iTunes. This is not one of her bigger songs — it’s a Femme Fatale bonus track.

Obviously, Britney Spears was not behind that. Some of her fans were eager to troll JT, and it worked.

Meanwhile, Justin himself appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy fallon recently. The two are longtime friends.

Britney watched. She even decided to share the “Classroom Instruments” sketch on Instagram — and include some commentary of her own.

Apparently, Britney is a fan

Britney Spears wrote an Instagram caption — discussing everything from he memoir to JT’s music.

“I am in love with Justin Timberlake’s new song ‘Selfish’,” Britney shared with her followers.

She graciously praised: “It is soo good and how come every time I see Justin and Jimmy together I laugh so hard ???”

She concluded: “Ps ‘Sanctified’ is wow too.”

But, before her music review, Britney also opened out about what she regrets about her Tell-All book, The Woman In Me.

“If I offended any of the people I genuinely care about,” she wrote, “I am deeply sorry.”

Note that Britney does not regret it if her words offended just anyone. Only people about whom she genuinely cares.

Her 2023 memoir detailed the failed romance with Justin.

In addition to sharing many familiar news stories from the time from her point of view, Britney detailed her pregnancy by him — and the at-home abortion that followed.

Britney’s words reminded fans of past anger towards him — and shined new light on their relationship. Simply put, he should have treated her better.

According to The US Sun, three separate inside sources have shared that the Westlake Village resort hotel has banned Britney Spears.

For now, anyway.

Why would any hotel ban Britney Spears?

According to the sources in question, Britney has been a longtime guest a the hotel.

The hotel is just minutes away from her $14 million mansion in Thousand Oaks.

Many times, Britney Spears has bared her peach on social media. Sometimes, she does so from inside of hotel rooms — but that is not the issue.

Allegedly, Britney has displayed “bizarre behavior” by stripping off by the pool at the family-friendly five-star hotel.

According to the report, Britney is a fan of the hotel’s spa and beauty retreat.

Britney can have an in-ground pool at home, but she can treat herself to the rest with a trip to the nearby resort.

Apparently, the hotel staff felt that they had “no choice” but to issue a temporary ban on Britney Spears.

“Some guests have complained about her going topless by the pool and making them feel uncomfortable,” an insider described.

“And,” the source then alleged, “her behavior is often bizarre and annoying.” Sounds like … any customer in any service industry.

“Staff have talked about it throughout the whole hotel and it’s really unfortunate,” the insider expressed.

“But she’s not allowed on there at the moment,” the source added, “certainly not the spa.”

The insider asserted: “Britney might be an A-list celebrity but she can’t run around doing whatever she wants at the Four Seasons.”

The hotel decided that enough was enough

As a temporary measure, the Four Seasons hotel has banned Britney Spears in an effort to placate other guests.

It sounds like there were just too many people remarking “Oh my god, that Britney’s shameless.“

That said … if Britney was actually being a topless nuisance as the report claims, one wonders that no photos have made it to social media.

Britney’s rep says that this story is “not true.” It doesn’t sound like there’s any elaboration.

The Four Seasons has, thus far, declined to comment on the story.

Whether it’s true or false, no luxury resort wants a reputation for discussing their guests.

Obviously, we don’t know that this is true. We also do not know that this is false.

It can be easy to break rules without thinking. Spend enough time living alone and you can forget that society expects you to wear clothing.

We can’t fix our society’s fixation on covering our skin with textiles overnight. But we hope that, if this ban is true, Britney will soon be able to return … and remember our culture’s prudish values while she’s at it.

In the mean time, Sam has lost a tremendous amount of weight in a very short amount of time.

TMZ caught up with Sam Asghari as he was on his way out of Equinox gym.

He has very conspicuously lost weight recently — an estimated 35 to 40 pounds, in fact.

Naturally, TMZ asked about it. Sam was quick to clarify that, no, he’s not hopping onto one of the most infamous trends of 2023.

Unlike an alarming number of other famous people, Sam is not taking Ozempic.

Ozempic is a semaglutide that serves as a life-saving diabetes medication. Or, for rich people, it functions as an appetite suppressant for weight loss (along with a slew of alarming health risks).

As a growing number of famous people fess up to taking it, fewer people are hearing the voices of non-rich non-celebrities who cannot get refills due to shortages.

The fitness expert shared that his weight loss is, unsurprisingly, the result of exercise and diet, not from luxury use of a medicine with a limited supply.

It is not uncommon for actors, models, bodybuilders, and the fitness community in general to change dramatically in build from time to time. The human body’s metabolism will adapt to an unchanging regimen and people will see diminishing returns.

Right now, Sam looks toned and cut. He has always prioritized staying in shape, and that has been clear since before he and Britney were an item.

That’s partially true. Of course, two people can live the exact same habits and eat the exact same portions of food with wildly different results.

It doesn’t mean that what he’s saying is wrong. It’s just that what works for someone else might not work for him. And what works for him might not work for someone else.

Meanwhile, Sam Asghari recently teamed up with one of the most controversial organizations on the planet: PETA.

He appeared in a few promotional images that promoted dog adoption. PETA has launched much, much worse ad campaigns than that.

However, the text appears to be stirring the pot … and possibly throwing shade at his ex-wife.

“Some loves last,” the ad read, appearing to target Sam’s oh-so-brief marriage. “Never buy dogs.”

The text also reads: “You can’t buy love, but you can adopt it.”

Honestly? We’re not sure if Sam was “in on” the shade or just cuddled a dog for a promo image.

Lynne is hoping for a last-minute change. They have at least discussed the idea of Britney taking a flight to her mom’s in Louisiana.

But, thus far, Britney has reportedly not purchased tickets or made any other necessary arrangements.

There is, however, time to do so. For Britney especially.

Last-minute travel plans can be expensive. But even though her net worth isn’t even close to what it likely might have been if so many people had not wronged her over the past 15 years … Britney can afford the markup.

No one seems clear on what might prevent Britney from flying out. That is to say that there’s no new feud as far as anyone knows. And if she has her own plans, no one else seems to know about them.

(We would suggest that this time of year can be tough. Even if you love your family, spending time with them can be bittersweet if you share a complex history)

To be clear, Britney and her mom have hung out pretty recently. Britney celebrated her birthday earlier this month, and her mom stopped by for a very sweet visit.

Obviously, whether Britney travels to see Lynne is Britney’s call. That’s how adulthood works (if you’re not under a conservatorship).

Reportedly, Lynne is hoping to see Britney fly out to meet with her.

And Lynne even conveyed a similar desire directly to TMZ somewhat recently.

Now, it sounds like TMZ’s sources are solid supporters of the idea of Britney flying out to see Lynne.

But that’s obviously Britney’s decision, and not as simple as a question of whether or not she loves her mom.

Leaving your home to stay somewhere else can be a bit of a drain. Britney loves tropical vacations, but that’s not what this would be.

If continuing to rebuild this mother-daughter relationship is truly in Britney’s best interest, sure, we say go for it.

But it’s possible to have a very close bond without spending holidays together. Yes, really.

Perhaps Britney needs to spend this time alone, or ignoring the holiday. Or maybe she’ll just out to Louisiana this weekend.

Lynne failed Britney in multiple ways. But she did voice her support for her daughter, and helped raise some specific concerns during the conservatorship.

Being the better of two parents is not the same as being a good parent. And when the other parent is Jamie Spears, that’s not a high bar. The bar is well below the floor.

Following the end of the marriage earlier this year, she’s single. And it’s a very different experience for her right now.

In a recent Instagram post, alongside a photo of a nun using a straw, Britney Spears opened up about the state of things.

“It’s so weird being single …” she expressed.

Britney noted: “I’ve had a lot of time to really look back with all the good and bad.”

“I’ve realized I don’t talk to myself that nicely at all,” Britney confessed.

“I’m easily manipulated,” she acknowledged. “And I wear my heart on my sleeve.”

Britney then affirmed: “But I’m definitely changing all that.”

“I have to make time to stop and look around to re-evaluate myself,” Britney resolved, “and say is this good for me ???”

She noted: “I like a routine and I usually do the same thing every day.” That is very healthy!

“l’m honestly bored,” Britney admitted. “But I’m also scared of a lot of things.”

“But to know it’s ok to be selfish with my life and enjoy it is amazing!!!” Britney wrote.

“I will say my routine and daily affairs seem silly sometimes,” she acknowledged.

“My mom always use to visit the sisters at St. Mary’s Catholic School,” Britney recalled. “She used to go to when I was younger and the nuns always gave me cookies.”

She shared that “I liked going there because the sun was always out and it was beautiful there.”

“It’s weird because I have a small garden with flowers on my balcony outside my room,” Britney commented.

“When I take a picture of it,” she added, “the illusion is that it’s connected to the trees outside.”

Britney opined: “It’s pretty beautiful when the sun hits at the right spot … The pictures look like diamonds glistening everywhere.”

“Every time I go out there I think of the sisters at the church I used to go to,” Britney then admitted.

“l’m honestly not even sure why I’m writing this nonsense !!!??” she jokingly confessed, before concluding: “Oh, this picture.”

Britney often writes stream-of-consciousness Instagram posts to her followers.

Britney can and should remain single for exactly as long as she likes.

She just got out of a very long-term relationship. And as she herself admits, there are people who can and will take advantage of her if she gives them the chance.

Like so many monsters great and small, he seems to truly believe that he did nothing wrong.

Just to be clear, he very much did things wrong. A court of law dissolved the conservatorship. This system of guardianship is for people who at times don’t recognize their own homes — not for people who can advocate for their own liberation.

But the world is full of social and cultural pressures to reconcile with even one’s worst relatives.

Britney, being a Christian, may also feel religious encouragement to do so. Christian theology contains a strong emphasis upon forgiveness and redemption. Not all religions do.

An amputation is obviously a big deal. It can redefine someone’s entire life.

And that is only one of the health issues that currently plagues Jamie.

We don’t know what his other ailments may be — only that he has them. And that he is “not doing well” these days.

Apparently, he also feels “downcast” over the righteous backlash over what he did to Britney for nearly a decade and a half.

At this point in the report, TMZ sounds unthinkably sympathetic towards Jamie … not only for his health issues, but for the richly deserved public loathing that he has received.

As with other immensely reliable publications, TMZ uses inside sources close to famous people to report accurate information. In this case, evidently, their source feels some sort of sympathy for the man for “trying his best” with the conservatorship. Couldn’t be me.

Despite everything that opportunists and general malefactors have done to her, Britney reminds a very kind and generous person. In some cases, too kind.

Reportedly, there are times when she has admitted to missing her dad — or at least, alleged good sides to him. At one point, she allegedly discussed the idea of sending him money to help with his medical expenses.

Jamie paid himself a hefty salary from Britney’s accounts while managing her money and controlling her personal life.

It is not uncommon for people with toxic (and worse) parents, exes, and more to have moments of longing.

Part of you might always wish that they’d been who you needed them to be. And part of you might even wonder if you’ve been somehow unfair to them, or if they deserve a second chance.

Believe it or not, but Justin has enjoyed a lot of public support over the years.

Apparently, he’s contemplating taking her to court. With the right courtroom shopping (sometimes, overly litigious whiners try cases in the UK, where libel laws are oddly backwards), he might keep her from sharing more.
