‘Law and Order’ Star Camryn Manheim to Leave Show After Season 23 Finale

Will Hart/NBC

Camryn Manheim will leave Law & Order following the season 23 finale.

Manheim, 63, portrays Lieutenant Kate Dixon, joined the cast when NBC revived the series in 2021. The May 16 season finale will be her 48th and final episode.

“I thank Camryn for her three wonderful seasons helping us relaunch Law & Order,” creator Dick Wolf said in a statement on Friday, May 10. “She is a class act, and I wish her nothing but the best for her next chapter.”

Though Manheim became known on the series for playing Dixon, the commanding officer of the Manhattan North Homicide Squad, that wasn’t actually her first character in the franchise. She appeared in a guest spot during the show’s first season in 1991 and returned playing other characters in 1993 and 1994.

Dick Wolf’s TV Universe: The Biggest and Best Crossover Connections

“I had the most incredible experience being a part of the Law & Order Universe, and more importantly the Wolfpack,” Manheim wrote via Instagram on Friday. “I’m so thankful for the three wonderful seasons that I spent with this wildly talented cast of merry pranksters. Mehcad Brooks, Reid Scott, Connie Shi, Anthony Anderson, Jeffrey Donovan, Hugh Dancy, Odelya Halevi, Tony Goldwyn and Sam Waterston. Not to mention the stellar guest stars that came in and out of the studio doors.”

Manheim’s departure follows that of Waterston, who played District Attorney Jack McCoy in 405 episodes from 1994 to 2024. His final appearance came in February, and Goldwyn, 63, has since replaced him, playing new DA Nick Baxter.

“Greetings, you wonderful people. It’s a pleasure to talk directly like this to the backbone of Law & Order’s absolutely amazing audience,” Waterston, 83, told The Hollywood Reporter at the time of his departure. “The time has come for me to move on and take Jack McCoy with me. There’s sadness in leaving, but I’m just too curious about what’s next. An actor doesn’t want to let himself get too comfortable. I’m more grateful to you than I can say.”

Manheim and Waterston’s exits come on the heels of Donovan, who played Detective Frank Cosgrove, leaving the show last season. In season 21, Anderson left, with his character being replaced by Brooks.

When Manheim first joined the cast as a series regular during Law & Order’s revival, she came in to replace S. Epatha Merkerson. Merkerson, 71, played Lieutenant Anita Van Buren from 1993 to 2010, when the show was originally canceled.

Law & Order has already been renewed for a 24th season amid a 56 percent viewership bump from season 22.

Taylor Swift Comments on Fan’s ‘Official Music Video’ for ‘TTPD’ Song

One Taylor Swift fan is living his wildest dreams after the superstar commented on his TikTok interpretation of one of her songs.

TikTok user Giacomo Benavides posted an overly dramatic clip of himself acting out 30 seconds of “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” from Swift’s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.

Swift, 34, found the video and commented, “This is the official music video 🏆.”

Benavides’ all-caps reply probably didn’t do his true reaction justice, but he added, “MOTHER?!???!? SCREAMING CRYING THROWING UPPPPPPP 😭😭😭.”

Revisiting Taylor Swift's Relationship With The 1975’s Matty Healy

That exchange has since garnered more than 1,600 additional replies, ranging from envious Swifties to influencers like Tana Mongeau and brands like skincare company Mario Badescu.

The part Benavides decided to act out comes when Swift sings, “Were you sent by someone who wanted me dead? / Did you sleep with a gun underneath our bed? / Were you writing a book? Were you a sleeper cell spy? / In 50 years will all this be declassified?”

To go with it, Benavides mouths the words and pulls out a toy gun and later a book to correspond with the lyrics. After that, two friends grab him by the arms and haul him toward a waiting police van.

Since The Tortured Poets Department’s April 19 release, fans have regarded “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” as one of the 31-track double album’s best songs. It peaked at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 and currently sits at 30th.

Every Song About Matty Healy on Taylor Swift’s ‘The Tortured Poets Department’

“The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” is believed to be about Swift’s ill-fated relationship with Matt Healy.

Right down to the name itself, the song is a brutal takedown and, though Swift obviously hasn’t said outright that it’s about Healy, the hints throughout are less than subtle.

“The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” feels like a knock on Healy’s short stature. The 1975 frontman told The Fader in 2018, “Everyone in [The 1975] is 6-foot-4 and I’m 5-foot-10, so everyone thinks that I’m 5-foot-5.

Healy also told a fan in a 2022 video, “I am a big boy!”

The first line of the song hints that Healy is the main target as Swift sings, “Was any of it true? / Gazing at me starry-eyed / In your Jehovah’s Witness suit.” Healy, 35, is known to wear a close-cut suit and tie, resembling the go-to look for many Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Swift tactfully follows “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” on her album with “The Alchemy,” which Today called “one of the only pure love songs” of The Tortured Poets Department. The track is filled with sports references that tie it to her current boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Swift and Kelce, also 34, have been together for nearly a year, first starting to date prior to the 2023 NFL season.

Dan Schneider Sues ‘Quiet on Set’ Producers for Defamation

Dan Schneider is suing the producers of Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV for defamation, calling the Investigation Discovery docuseries “a hit job.”

The lawsuit, filed on Wednesday, May 1, and obtained by Us Weekly, names Warner Bros. Discovery, Maxine Productions, Sony Pictures Television and directors Mary Robertson and Emma Schwartz as defendants, alleging that the series falsely implies that Schneider “sexually abused the children who worked on his television shows.”

“While it is indisputable that two bona fide child sexual abusers worked on Nickelodeon shows, it is likewise indisputable that Schneider had no knowledge of their abuse, was not complicit in the abuse, condemned the abuse once it was discovered and, critically, was not a child sexual abuser himself,” the lawsuit states. “But for the sake of clickbait, ratings, and views — or put differently, money — Defendants have destroyed Schneider’s reputation and legacy through the false statements and implications that Schneider is exactly that.”

Schneider is seeking damages for his tarnished reputation, harassment he’s experienced since the series aired, emotional pain and suffering and his loss of financial and career opportunities.

The former producer has been open about the mistakes he made during his time at Nickelodeon, but he has continually denied knowledge of the sexual abuse committed by others at the network, including dialogue and acting coach Brian Peck.

“Recently the docuseries Quiet on Set highlighted mistakes I made and poor judgment I exhibited during my time at Nickelodeon, most of which happened decades ago during my early career as a producer, working on shows for Tollin/Robbins Productions,” Schneider said in a statement to Us Weekly. “There is no doubt that I was sometimes a bad leader. I am sincerely apologetic and regretful for that behavior, and I will continue to take accountability for it.”

Every Nickelodeon Star Who Has Reacted to Explosive 'Quiet on Set' Doc

But Schneider’s mistakes, he says, do not rise to what Quiet on Set implies them to be.

“In their successful attempt to mislead viewers and increase ratings, they went beyond reporting the truth and falsely implied that I was involved in or facilitated horrific crimes for which actual child predators have been prosecuted and convicted,” the statement continues.

The lawsuit points to specific YouTube comments under the trailer for the series, which indicate that viewers took the footage to mean Schneider was guilty of sexual abuse himself. The suit calls visual depictions in the series “purposefully and intentionally defamatory in that they falsely and repeatedly state or imply that Schneider is a child sexual abuser and committed crimes in this regard.”

Former Nickelodeon Stars' Candid Quotes About Working at the Network

Schneider’s statement concludes, “I have no objection to anyone highlighting my failures as a boss, but it is wrong to mislead millions of people to the false conclusion that I was in any way involved in heinous acts like those committed by child predators. I owe it to myself, my family, and the many wonderful people involved in making these shows to set the record straight.”

Schneider exited Nickelodeon in 2018 after he was accused of misconduct. At the time, he denied the allegations against him. Ahead of Quiet on Set’s premiere, a rep for Schneider released a statement emphasizing his support of the child stars he worked with.

“Dan cared about the kids on his shows even when sometimes their own families unfortunately did not. He understood what they were going through and he was their biggest champion. The fact is many of the kids on these shows are put in the untenable position of becoming the breadwinner for their family and the pressure that comes along with that,” the statement read. “Add on top of that the difficulties of growing up and having to do so under the spotlight while working a demanding job, all as a child. That is why there are many levels of standards, executives, lawyers, teachers and parents everywhere, all the time, on every set, every day. However, it is still a hard place to be a kid and nobody knew that better than Dan.”

Annie Potts Slams 'Young Sheldon' Cancellation: 'A Stupid Business Move'

Annie Potts has built a decades-long career on the TV screen, but even she was shocked when Young Sheldon was canceled after seven seasons.

Potts, 71, who appeared in 134 of the series’ 136 total episodes, told Variety she was “completely unprepared” for the show to end, given its success.

“I was shocked. I mean, the No. 1 show on network TV, No. 1 on Netflix,” she said. “We’re, I think, all that people watch on TikTok besides a couple of recipes for pasta. It just seemed like such a stupid business move.”

Potts added that she wasn’t the only one who didn’t see the end coming.

‘Young Sheldon’ Cast: Then and Now

“Forgive me, but I don’t know. If a show is starting to drag or lag or have a lack of stories or whatever, then you kind of see it coming. We were totally ambushed by this,” she claimed.

Young Sheldon, the prequel spinoff to The Big Bang Theory, premiered in 2017 and wrapped production last week. It stars Iain Armitage as the childhood version of The Big Bang Theory’s Sheldon Cooper, an intellectual genius with an endearing lack of social understanding. Potts plays Cooper’s maternal grandmother in the prequel series.

After CBS announced in November 2023 that the series would not be renewed, executive producers Steve Holland, Steven Molaro and Chuck Lorre released a joint statement, saying, “Being able to tell the origin of Sheldon Cooper, and expanding the story to include the entire Cooper family has been a wonderful experience. We are grateful to our fans for embracing this chapter of the Coopers these past six seasons, and on behalf of the entire Young Sheldon family, we’re excited to share this final season with you.”

TV Shows That Have Hit 100 or More Episodes Over the Years

With the series soon to be in the rearview mirror, Potts looked back at a show that has played a significant role in her career.

“I mean, it’s been half of Iain’s life, and it’s been a 10th of mine, but at 70, that feels significant,” she said. “And, you know, it’s a little village that we have, and we’ve all taken care of each other and raised each other up. There will be a grievous hole in my life. There’s no question about it. It’ll get easier. Grief does, loss does.”

Armitage, 15, echoed that sentiment, saying, “It’s also just hard in a really weird way that I can only really see if I step back and try and take a global view, which is hard. I mean, I’m not going to get to see Annie Potts every day. This is a real loss for me. More than anyone.”

Young Sheldon’s series finale airs on CBS Thursday, May 16.

Jon Gosselin Says He’s Lost 32 Lbs on Semaglutide: ‘It’s All Diet’

Jon Gosselin says he has lost 32 pounds on his weight loss journey, crediting it all to a diet aided by the generic form of Ozempic and following a special wellness program.

The Jon & Kate Plus 8 alum is taking semaglutide to facilitate his weight loss after his girlfriend, Stephanie Lebo found success with it. Now, as Gosselin, 47, told Us Weekly exclusively, “I can only eat what I need.”

“So Steph will be like, ‘Do you want a salad?’ I’m like, ‘No, that won’t fill my belly,’” Gosselin explained. “So I’ll just eat the chicken over here and count everything.”

“It’s all diet. It literally is diet,” he said, along with the help of the Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center’s health and wellness program.

Welcome to Plathville’s Barry Is in His Revenge Era — and He's Ripped

Gosselin’s comments came at the Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center West Hollywood grand opening on Thursday, April 25, where he served as DJ.

Gosselin previously said that his DJ lifestyle caused him to gain 35 pounds, as he’d often resort to gas station food near his Pennsylvania home at 3 a.m. after a set.

Now, he has a new regimen, which leaves no room for those late-night Wawa stops or for popular techniques like intermittent fasting.

“Fasting’s not good for your body if you’re trying to build muscle,” he explained. “So I just eat six to eight times a day.”

That means packing in the protein, which Gosselin says usually comes in the form of two protein shakes per day, giving him about 84 grams.

Celebrities Who’ve Spoken About Ozempic for Weight Loss

Gosselin added that he tried other weight loss programs, and while he lost 55 pounds by switching to a keto diet, he wasn’t “toning up.” It also didn’t solve other problems, like his sleep apnea, for which he’s used a CPAP machine in the past. Gosselin said that even when he falls asleep without the machine now, Lebo reports he is not snoring.

In addition to semaglutide, Gosselin works out six days a week, relishing his time in the gym on Sundays when it’s often empty, then resting on Saturdays.

“I usually have a big gig or I have to travel and I just don’t want to be exhausted,” he said of his weekends.

Then comes his supplements. Gosselin explained that after years of high blood pressure, he’s finally seeing results by switching to organic medication.

Where Jon and Kate Gosselin Stand With Each of Their 8 Children

“I was on Losartan and Hydralazine for 10 years and [my blood pressure] never dropped,” he said. “And then all of a sudden I go on Carditone and it drops. It’s crazy. All these things, everything’s happening all at once.”

There might soon be more happening for Gosselin. He and Lebo have been dating since 2021, and Gosselin says a proposal is on the horizon.

“Oh, I’m definitely proposing,” he said. “I’m getting married. I hope she … I think she’ll say yes.”

Beyoncé was the victim of racist vitriol spewed from a fan at the 2016 Country Music Awards, a new CNN documentary reveals.

The network is set to unveil Call Me Country: Beyoncé & Nashville’s Renaissance on Friday, April 26, and in the film, one fan recalled an ugly reaction from the crowd as Beyoncé, 42, debuted her “Daddy Lessons” remix with the Chicks.

“An audience member in front of me proceeds to say, ‘Get that Black bitch off the stage right now,’” attendee Tanner Davenport claimed in the documentary.

Davenport, the codirector of the Black Opry, a website that raises awareness for Black country artists, called it a “gut punch” to see that in the eyes of some, Beyoncé was not welcome at the CMAs.

5 Reasons Why Beyonce Is Us Weekly’s Woman Crush

“I remember instantly kind of being taken back to reality in that moment,” he added. “To realize that there’s, like, a threat of Black people being in this genre for some reason.”

Those outside of Bridgestone Arena in Nashville that night also got a look at the ugly side of country fandom as social media soon became awash in negative messages aimed at Beyoncé, ranging from criticizing her politics to blatantly racist remarks.

The CMAs themselves even came under fire. Though a rep for the event called Beyoncé’s performance “a highlight of the evening” at the time, the CMAs soon deleted any mention of it from their social media accounts. They claimed it was because the footage used was unapproved, but critics viewed it as the CMAs bowing to the pressures of a vocal, racist minority.

While outsiders can debate the meaning behind the CMAs’ response, Beyoncé herself has made it clear she will not back down. She implied that the incident was a key inspiration behind her new country album, Cowboy Carter.

Beyonce’s ‘Cowboy Carter’: All the Cameos, Samples and More

“This album has been over five years in the making,” she wrote via Instagram in March. “It was born out of an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed…and it was very clear that I wasn’t.”

“The criticisms I faced when I first entered this genre forced me to propel past the limitations that were put on me,” she continued. “[Cowboy Carter] is a result of challenging myself, and taking my time to bend and blend genres together to create this body of work.”

Beyoncé became the first Black artist to top the Top Country Albums chart when Cowboy Carter debuted in March. It also came out at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Call Me Country: Beyoncé & Nashville’s Renaissance will be available to stream Friday, April 26, on Max.

Zendaya Earned $10 Million as 'Challengers' Star and Producer: Report

Zendaya Earned 10 Million Salary to Star in and Produce Challengers Report

Zendaya earned $10 million to star in and produce the upcoming movie Challengers, according to a report from Variety.

The film will release in theaters this Friday, April 26, and Zendaya teased that fans can expect a movie that uses tennis as a backdrop to much more.

“It’s a movie, and it’s tennis, but it’s not a tennis movie,” Zendaya told Variety in an article published Wednesday, April 24. “It’s much deeper. Tennis is just a metaphor for a lot of bigger s–t. For power. For codependency. They’re using tennis as their device to get these things out of their system. It’s the only way they know how to communicate.”

Zendaya, 27, plays Tashi Duncan, the movie’s main character, who is a former tennis prodigy that gets caught in a love triangle with husband Art Donaldson (Mike Faist) and ex Patrick Zweig (Josh O’Connor).

Zendaya Rewears ‘I Told Ya’ T-Shirt From ‘Challengers’ While Out in NYC

Challengers, directed by Luca Guadagnino, wrapped filming nearly two years ago and was slated to release last September before the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike. Zendaya is now traveling the world for the film’s press tour, showing off her tennis-inspired style along the way.

The delay and the near-daily headlines Zendaya is making have only added to the hype around the movie.

“I’m glad the movie has been getting its time in the sun,” Faist, 32, said. “It’s been a joy to see people respond to the film.”

Variety also reports that Challengers had a $55 million budget, putting pressure on the film to beat modest expectations in the box office. Though it’s projected to gross between $12 and $15 million this weekend, it is also the only major release on the schedule.

For Zendaya, the movie presented an opportunity to step out of her comfort zone and play an older character.

Is 'Euphoria’ Coming Back? What the Cast Has Said About Season 3 and Beyond

“I’ve been playing 16-year-olds since I was 16,” the Euphoria star remarked. “So it was nice to play a character that was not a child anymore. It was also interesting playing parts of my life that I haven’t experienced yet: I’ve not gotten married. I’ve not had a child. Those milestones, I don’t necessarily have a direct reference point for. That was different to feel. Ultimately, it felt like the right time for a character like this.”

While on the press tour, Zendaya has been avoiding speculation about a potential third season of Euphoria, telling Variety that she’s not in charge and doesn’t know when or if HBO will continue the series.

Instead, she’s all-in on Challengers — and tennis itself.

“I was not a tennis person before this,” she said. “All I really knew was, like, Serena [Williams] and Roger Federer. So I just threw myself in there. I’ve pretty much seen every video, every match that’s online. It became my thing.”

Christy Turlington Says Son's Bullies Shared Her Nude Photo

Christy Turlington says she wanted “to disappear” at one of her son’s basketball games when the opposing team passed a nude photo of her around as a way to bully him.

“I was surprised it hadn’t happened sooner,” she recalled in a feature from Harper’s Bazaar, published on Wednesday, April 24. “But at the same time, I was like, ‘This is so rude!’”

The photo in question was from an old shoot of hers. Turlington, 55, called it a heckling tactic used against her son, Finn, now 18, that turned “into a bigger thing” when the school got involved. Though she wanted to disappear in the moment, she added, “I don’t feel embarrassed about anything. Regretting things is a waste of time.”

Turlington shares Finn and daughter Grace, 20, with her husband of almost 21 years, Edward Burns.

Model Moms! A Guide to Gigi, Gisele and More Supermodels' Kids

The incident ran counter to her typical inclination to blend in, avoiding unwanted attention.

“Being a person who is quiet and studies people, I think I learned how to not stand out,” she said. “My mom never said, like, ‘Oh, here’s how you’re going to protect yourself.’ I think I just really paid attention, honestly.”

Though she still models, Turlington has embraced motherhood as a full time job — not just with Finn and Grace, but as an advocate for moms everywhere with her nonprofit, Every Mom Counts.

She founded the organization in 2010 and since then has helped over 1.5 million mothers make their pregnancies and births safer.

Christy Turlington and Ed Burns’ Family Album: Their Sweetest Photos

“I feel lucky to have the option [to model],” she said. “It’s still my livelihood. I don’t take a salary here [at Every Mother Counts] because that doesn’t feel right, but this is my main job.”

It’s important to Turlington that she continues to model, which she has been doing since her teens. But similar to her reaction to the incident at her son’s basketball game, she’s trying not to let others dictate how she’s perceived. At Grace’s suggestion, she turned her Instagram comments off as to avoid anything too “pointed or mean.”

And because of her age, Turlington is well aware that some may want to paint her as an aging model, rather than just a model.

“I don’t want to put myself out as the face of aging beauty,” she said. “I’ll be 60 in five years, and I want to start thinking through what the next five years will be for me personally.”

Taylor Swift Faces Backlash for Lyric Saying She Wants to Live in the 1830s

Taylor Swift Faces Backlash for Lyric Saying She Wants to Live in 1830s
John Shearer/Getty Images

Taylor Swift released 31 new songs on Friday, but she’s facing some criticism for one line in particular.

In “I Hate It Here,” track 23 on The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology, Swift says she wants to live in the 1830s. The full lyric reads: “My friends used to play a game where / We would pick a decade / We wished we could live in instead of this / I’d say the 1830s but without all the racists / And getting married off for the highest bid.”

The Tortured Poets Department double album runs more than two hours long and contains 10,663 words, according to a noble soul at The Ringer who spent 45 minutes counting them up, but this one line is standing out among social media critics.

Observers noted that it’s hard to separate the decade from “all the racists” or other atrocities of the time. Other listeners were quick to point out that the 1830s were best known, historically, for the Indian Removal Act and Trail of Tears, in which around 60,000 Native Americans were forcibly displaced from their homes, with many dying in the process. In Europe, it was also the time of a cholera pandemic that claimed tens of thousands more lives.

Decoding Taylor Swift’s 'TTPD' Album: Lyric Parallels and Easter Eggs

The 1830s were also three decades before the Civil War, and slavery was still legal in the United States. Some critics say that the lyric minimizes the struggles of the time, even with the “without all the racists” caveat.

One X user wrote, “I mention Taylor Swift once for a joke and now I’m getting news about her, and I gotta say: pretty astonishing to stipulate that she wants to live in the 1830s, ‘except without the racists,’ and not mention slavery, so slavery still exists but everyone’s chill about it.”

Others used the controversy as an opportunity to make fun of Swift, posting memes or making quips about her private jet.

“My interpretation of Taylor Swift wanting to live in the 1830s has to do with the lack of environmental regulations and how economical it’d be to run a private jet,” said another user.

All of Taylor Swift’s Literary References: From Her Debut to 'TTPD'

Added a third, “Taylor Swift name one thing that happened in the 1830s that wasn’t racism. Quickly.”

Swift does add in the song that she wouldn’t feel comfortable living in any era. The next lines go: “Nostalgia is a mind’s trick / If I’d been there, I’d hate it / It was freezing in the palace.”

This is just one of hundreds of Swift lyrics that will be parsed over the coming days as fans listen and relisten to Tortured Poets, but so far, it’s the most controversial.

Conjoined Twin Abby Hensel’s Husband Joshua Bowling Cleared in Paternity Case: Report

Conjoined Twin Abby Hensel’s Husband Josh Bowling Hit With Paternity Suit Following 2021 Wedding
Abby Hensel, Brittany Hensel and Josh Bowling. Heidi Bowling/Facebook

Joshua Bowling, the husband of conjoined twin Abby Hensel, has been cleared in a paternity case regarding his ex-wife’s 3-year-old daughter.

Bowling, 34, married Hensel, who shares a body with twin sister Brittany, in 2021, a year after his divorce from ex-wife Annica. He and Annica, who married in 2010, share joint custody of an 8-year-old daughter, according to court documents obtained by the New York Post.

Shortly after their split, Annica gave birth to a daughter, whose paternity has been contested since Annica filed the suit in 2023.

A paternity test showed that the father is actually a man named Gavin Vatnsdal, his lawyer confirmed to the Post. Vatnsdal’s attorney, Gregory Seamon, told a Minnesota district court on Friday, April 19, “It’s not Mr. Bowling’s child. It’s my client’s child.”

Conjoined Twin Abby Hensel Secretly Got Married 2 Years Ago: What to Know

“I think all the parties agree that Mr. Vatnsdal should be the adjudicated father and Mr. Bowling should be discharged and taken off the birth certificate,” Judge Siv Mjanger agreed. “I can grant that motion.”

Abby and Brittany, both 34, are no strangers to the public eye, first appearing on TV in 1996. They later starred in Abby & Brittany, a TLC reality show, in 2012. The twins are now fifth-grade teachers in their native Minnesota.

The sisters are dicephalus conjoined twins, meaning they share a single body, with one genital system, two arms, two hearts and two legs. They also share a bloodstream and organs below the waist. Abby controls the right arm and leg, while Brittany controls the left. They had the option to undergo surgery to separate, but their parents opted against it due to the risk of one child not surviving.

Celebrity Couples Who Got Married in Secret

Joshua is a nurse and Army veteran, who married Abby in a secret ceremony in 2021. News of the wedding wasn’t made public until this March when the twins shared photos of the ceremony via TikTok.

When news broke, the twins shared a video calling out their critics.

“The internet is extra LOUD today,” they captioned a clip showing photos of historical sculptures of conjoined twins. “We have always been around ❤#abbyandbrittanyhensel #happy #love #lovestory #marriage.”

They followed that up with a video zooming in on a picture of the two of them standing next to Bowling, captioned, “This is for all you haters out there. If you don’t like what I do but watch everything I’m doing — you’re still a fan.”

‘RHONJ’ Star Melissa Gorga Thought Northeast Earthquake Was a Ghost

After a 4.8 magnitude earthquake hit the Northeast on Friday, April 5, many New York and New Jersey residents took to social media to crack jokes or share their collective amazement at the seismic event.

But The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga had a different experience. Gorga, 45, told Entertainment Tonight about her harrowing tale surviving the earthquake from her house. She was in her home gym with her dog but otherwise alone in the house when her world was literally shaken.

“The house sounded like it was being invaded. It was, like, shaking. The floor was shaking,” she described. “I have weights in my hands, and I was like, ‘What is happening?’ It sounded like my roof was shaking, the floor was shaking, and it really did sound like a stampede, like people were running, running, running. And I just froze ’cause I get nervous.”

Ironically, the day an earthquake struck was the one day she left her door unlocked. When she received a notification that her front door had opened, she feared someone — or something — had invaded. Perhaps, maybe even something supernatural had come through her front door.

“I was freaking out a little bit … and as I’m walking back down my basement steps to finish my workout, I’m like, ‘Wow! Like, I’ve never experienced a ghost before, like, maybe that was a ghost.'”

Without the Ghostbusters on speed dial, Gorga felt that 911 was her next-best option.

“I am screaming. I’m running up the stairs. I have 911 ready to push. So I dialed it on my phone,” she said.

It wasn’t until employees at her Envy boutique began texting her that she realized it was not a burglar or a ghost. Her husband, Joe Gorga, also gave her a call.

To be fair, Gorga wasn’t the only celebrity in the Northeast who was confused about what happened.

Couples Who Survived the Reality TV Curse (So Far)

“Not to be weird but was there just an earthquake in New York?” Busy Philipps wrote via X. “Like guys. I think there was an earthquake in NYC.”

Rachel Zegler had a better theory, speculating that the Earth was listening to Beyoncé. She posted, “In my opinion the earth was just listening to cowboy carter……. Shaking some ass…….. quaking fr.”

Most importantly, the Empire State Building notified fans almost immediately that it was going to be OK, writing, “I AM FINE.”

‘VPR’ Fans Just Realized Tom Sandoval's Assistant Ann Was on 'The Office'

Ann Maddox called working in Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix’s house “a stressful work environment,” and she should know. As Vanderpump Rules fans are coming to realize, she once worked alongside the MVP of hostile workplaces: Michael Scott.

X user @marroline pointed out in a post on Wednesday, April 3, that Maddox once appeared in an episode of The Office. @The_LowerLevel quoted her post with a clip, which comes from the season four episode titled “Money.”

In the clip, Michael (Steve Carrell) is working a night job as a telemarketer. He’s sitting at his desk with a group of coworkers — including Maddox — gathered around as he describes John McClane’s evolution from the first to fourth Die Hard movies.

Maddox, whose character is unnamed, agrees with one of her coworkers, who says Michael should review movies. When Michael says he’s actually written a movie himself (the infamous Threat Level Midnight), Maddox asks what it’s about.

What ‘The Office’ Cast Has Said About a Revival

The Office isn’t the only acting credit Maddox has to her name. She also appeared as Kendra on Grandfathered, as Colleen on Garfunkel & Oates and as an unnamed character on 2 Broke Girls.

She’s found stardom, however, as the middleman between Sandoval, 41, and Madix, 38, as the two navigate life as exes. Maddox no longer works for Sandoval, and while she has said she loved her old job at times, she has since moved on. Vanderpump Rules hasn’t shown where she ends up yet, but she interviewed to be Ariana’s assistant in a recent episode.

Maddox feared blowback from Sandoval because she was still working for him at the time, and he caught wind of her interview.

“In my panic and sweat, I knocked on Ariana’s door and I was like, ‘I think I’m getting fired,’” she said. “She was so nice. She took my shoulders and was like, ‘You’re gonna be OK.’ And I was like, ‘Thank you.’ And then I went downstairs to the kitchen to sob.”

Breaking Down the Order 'VPR' Cast Members Forgave Tom Sandoval

Maddox is also facing some heat from Sandoval offscreen. The former assistant signed an NDA with Sandoval but also started a podcast, aptly titled “We Signed an NDA,” in which she discusses Vanderpump Rules. In an appearance on the Vanderpump Rules After Show, Jax Taylor asked Sandoval what she could possibly have to talk about if she did, in fact, sign an NDA.

“I don’t know,” Sandoval replied. “But she’s about to get a letter from my lawyer.”

The most recent episode of the podcast dropped on Wednesday and is titled “Everybody’s Talking About Ann.”

For better or for worse, that seems to be the case.

‘Freaky Friday’ Sequel Starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan Is a Go

Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan are ready to get freaky again.

At long last, it appears a Freaky Friday sequel is really in the works, with Nisha Ganatra directing, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Andrew Gunn will return as producer along with former Disney exec Kristin Burr, per the outlet’s Friday, March 29, report.

Curtis, 65, and Lohan, 37, starred as mother and daughter in the 2003 Disney hit based on the 1972 novel of the same name. For the uninitiated, the story centers on the duo switching bodies and lives as hijinks ensue.

Disney has not announced anything officially, but Curtis posted photos via her Instagram on Friday, seeming to confirm the report. She first posted a screen grab from the first movie with the caption only being the check mark emoji. She also posted a more recent photo of the two together, captioned, “DUH! FFDEUX! @disney @disneystudios.”

Her Biggest Win! Jamie Lee Curtis Earns 1st Oscar for 'EEAAO'

Ganatra, 49, most recently directed the 2022 Hulu series Welcome to Chippendales. She has also directed episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Dear White People and Fresh Off the Boat.

Mark Waters directed the 2003 movie, which made $160.8 million at the box office. Disney confirmed last May that a sequel was in development.

“As I went around the world with Halloween Ends, people wanted to know if there was going to be another Freaky Friday,” Curtis told The New York Times last year. “Something really touched a chord. When I came back, I called my friends at Disney and said, ‘It feels like there’s a movie to be made.’”

Lohan added that she supported the idea.

Lindsay Lohan Through the Years

“We’re leaving it in the hands that be,” she said at the time. “We would only make something that people would absolutely adore.”

In the same feature, the two looked back on their time shooting Freaky Friday and reflected on how it came to be.

“I was in the middle of a book tour when my agent called. An actress had been involved in the movie and chose not to do it; I was a replacement part,” Curtis recalled. “Had I had all the time in the world to prepare, I don’t think it would’ve been so good. I just had to be in my body. I was also newly sober and I was able to have a community within the movie-work world. That was a big deal for me.”

The Freaky Friday sequel is on track for a summer shoot in Los Angeles, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Kim Zolciak and Brielle Biermann’s Land Rover Seized Amid Financial Woes: Report

Kim Zolciak and her daughter must surrender their 2019 Range Rover, according to a turnover order handed down by a Georgia judge and obtained by Page Six.

The order requires Zolciak, 45, or Brielle Biermann, 26, to hand the keys to law enforcement or advise them on the car’s exact location so it can be repossessed. Ally Bank, the lender for the car, sued the pair for unmade payments in December 2023.

Page Six reported that as of last May, the two owe Ally Bank $83,969.35. Documents show Brielle had agreed to pay $1,903 per month on the car.

This is the latest domino in the mounting financial woes for Zolciak and her family. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum is in the middle of a contentious and costly divorce from her husband, retired football player Kroy Biermann.

Real Housewives’ Legal Troubles Through the Years

The two reportedly owe the IRS north of $1 million in taxes and last year were ordered to pay $230,000 to Simmons Bank after they defaulted on a home equity line of credit. They were also sued by Saks/Capital One for $150,000 in unpaid credit card debt. Target sued them as well, claiming they failed to pay a nearly $2.5 million tab.

Meanwhile, American Express sued Brielle for $12,870.25 worth of credit card payments.

Kroy, who has blamed the family’s financial hardship on Zolciak’s alleged gambling addiction, was also sued by BMW for $400,000 to cover his Rolls-Royce. Kroy, 38, did not respond to the filing, giving BMW the right to repossess the vehicle, according to People.

Kroy currently has sole custody of the couple’s four younger children, Kroy Jr., 12, Kash, 11, and twins Kaia and Kane, 9, though the two must pay $5,000 per month for a parental fitness evaluator.

Kim Zolciak-Biermann’s Foreclosure Drama and Rumors: Everything to Know

The couple’s Georgia mansion, once listed for $6 million, is currently facing foreclosure. The home is still on the market, now listed at $4.5 million.

Though Zolciak has not commented publicly on the matter, she has taken steps to try and improve her financial standing. She sold her skincare line, Kashmere Kollections, to 310 Nutrition for an undisclosed amount in February and has tried selling her and her family’s belongings online. That includes a Cartier bracelet, which she asked $5,000 for.

Zolciak is also in the early stages of developing her own reality show, according to a report from Reality Tea.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Shares 1st Photos With Pacemaker After Surgery

Arnold Schwarzenegger Shares Photos With Pacemaker After Surgery Still Plans Film Next Month

Just days after Arnold Schwarzenegger underwent surgery to have a pacemaker fitted, the actor and former California governor shared a new photo of himself via Instagram.

In the snap, Schwarzenegger, 76, can be seen relaxing in a chair, wearing his “pacemaker” — a clock with a “high voltage” sign attached — as he looks at the camera.

“Thank you! I’ve gotten so many kind messages from all over the world, but a lot of people have asked if my pacemaker will cause any problems with FUBAR Season 2,” the caption reads. “Absolutely not. I will be ready to film in April, and you can only see it if you’re really looking for it.”

FUBAR debuted on Netflix in 2023. Schwarzenegger stars in the series as a CIA operative who works with his daughter, played by Monica Barbaro. It was renewed for a second season in June 2023 and was the most streamed television series for the week of its release despite receiving mixed reviews.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Family Members: A Comprehensive Guide

Schwarzenegger first revealed that he had the surgery in the Monday, March 25, episode of his podcast, “Arnold’s Pump Club.” The Terminator star joked that the procedure made him “a little bit more of a machine.”

The pacemaker is the latest operation that Schwarzenegger has undergone to address a bicuspid aortic valve, a congenital heart defect he has had since birth. He previously had a pulmonic valve replacement in 1997 to help blood flow from his heart to his lungs, followed by open heart surgery in 2018 to replace that valve.

In 2020, he had surgery to replace his aortic valve, which enables blood flow from the heart to the rest of the body. He added that the most recent surgery was necessary “because some scar tissue from my previous surgery had made my heartbeat irregular.”

Though Schwarzenegger is recovering well, he says he will require regular checkups and won’t be doing “serious training in the gym for a while.” He added that just days after his surgery, he was back out doing events.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Ex-Wife Maria Shriver's Relationship Timeline

“I’m doing great. I had my surgery on Monday and by Friday I was already at a big environmental event with my friend and fellow fitness crusader Jane Fonda,” he said on his podcast.

Schwarzenegger said that being open about his health “goes against so much of [his] upbringing in Austria, where nobody ever talked about medical issues. Everything related to healthcare was kept to yourself.”

He chose to speak out due to his past experiences hearing from others with the same heart condition, who “[told him] that talking about [his] valve replacement surgeries has given them courage and hope to deal with their own.”

Korbin Albert, the U.S. Women’s National Team midfielder who now wears Megan Rapinoe’s old No. 15 jersey, is under fire for liking and sharing anti-LGBTQIA+ posts via social media, including one directed at Rapinoe.

Albert, 20, apologized in a statement posted via Instagram on Thursday, March 28, just hours after Rapinoe, 38, blasted her for the posts.

“I want to sincerely apologize for my actions on social media,” Albert’s statement began. “Liking and sharing posts that are offensive, insensitive and hurtful was immature and disrespectful which was never my intent.”

“I’m really disappointed in myself and am deeply sorry for the hurt that I have caused to my teammates, other players, fans, friends and anyone who was offended,” she continued. “I truly believe that everyone should feel safe and respected everywhere and on all playing fields. I know my actions have not lived up to that and for that l sincerely apologize. It’s an honor and a privilege to get to play this sport on the world stage and I promise to do better.”

Sue Bird Supports Megan Rapinoe Amid Retirement: 'I Love You'

Albert had reposted a series of anti-LGBTQIA+ posts via her TikTok account and “liked” an Instagram reel captioned, “God taking time off to perform miracles to make sure Megan Rapinoe sprains her ankle in her final ever game.”

The reel referenced Rapinoe’s final game of her career, which came in the 2023 NWSL Championship. She suffered an ankle injury three minutes in and was unable to return. The TikTok videos, meanwhile, come from a Christian sermon saying that being gay or “feeling transgender” is wrong.

This isn’t the first time Albert has posted anti-LGBTQIA+ content to her social channels. Last Fourth of July weekend, she shared a TikTok video in which she said her family’s “pronouns are U.S.A.”

Rapinoe did not hold back in her reaction to the hurtful posts, questioning whether Albert is truly making the spaces she occupies more inclusive and safer.

Pride on the Pitch! LGBTQ+ Athletes Who've Made History

“For people who want to hide behind ‘my beliefs,’ I would just ask one question, are you making any type of space safer, more inclusive, more whole, any semblance of better, bringing the best out of anyone,” she wrote via Instagram on Thursday. “Because if you aren’t, all you believe in is hate. And kids are literally killing themselves because of this hate. Wake TF up! Yours truly, #15. “For all my trans homies enduring this horrific treatment day in and day out, I see you and hear you and I am WITH YOU.”

Rapinoe’s former teammate and USWNT captain Becky Sauerbrunn reposted Rapinoe’s statement, adding, “Well said, @mrapinoe.”

Albert made her USWNT debut in a friendly last December. The team is scheduled to play again on April 6, when they take the pitch in Atlanta against Japan as part of the 2024 SheBelieves Cup.

Even on the set of The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, Henry Cavill is quite the gentleman.

Alex Pettyfer, one of his costars, confirmed as much when he revealed that Cavill, 40, saved his life while they were filming.

“He saved me from falling off a boat,” Pettyfer, 33, revealed in an interview Entertainment Tonight recently conducted with the film’s stars. “I nearly drowned! So I can officially say I’ve been saved by Henry. And I’m very grateful to be on this film with [him].”

“It was an amazing honor, by the way, to be on this film with you,” Pettyfer added, speaking to Cavill. “Because it’s a learning curve to see how a No. 1 [on the call sheet] treats everyone in the cast and crew. I got an email two weeks before I started filming from this man saying, ‘I’m excited to collaborate with you.’”

Cavill and Pettyfer join Alan Ritchson, Henry Golding, Eiza González and Hero Fiennes Tiffin in the Guy Ritchie–directed film, which is based on Damien Lewis’ 2014 book, Churchill’s Secret Warriors: The Explosive True Story of the Special Forces Desperadoes of WWII. It is a fictionalized account of Operation Postmaster, a British operation in World War II to steal axis ships on the Spanish island of Fernando Po.

“Gentleman is the right word, for sure,” Tiffin, 26, said of Cavill. “And it’s because he has an unwavering commitment to the cause and energy and consistency and mood. [He has an] ability to just keep everybody up and keep the momentum going.”

Henry Cavill's Dating History: Gina Carano, Kaley Cuoco and More

González, 34, also joined in the pro-Cavill pile-on. She told Entertainment Weekly that she would like to see her costar portray James Bond.

“It’s hard not to look at Henry Cavill and think of James Bond, to be really honest,” González said. “Obviously, I’m part of the group of people that are rooting for him to get it hopefully, if that was a possibility.”

Daniel Craig beat out Cavill for the role in 2006 and Aaron Taylor-Johnson is rumored to be next in line, but EW reports that no official offer has been made.

Cavill, meanwhile, made sure to heap praise on his costars as well.

“I think it was an enjoyable experience and it’s all thanks to these guys and Guy and our crew,” he said. “Because it creates that environment where you can have fun and it’s easy to enjoy the day. … I think that’s why we all get to shine in an environment like this.”

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare will hit theaters on April 19.

Spotify Adds ‘Tortured Poets Department’ Countdown to Taylor Swift Page

Swifties worldwide are counting the days, hours and minutes until The Tortured Poets Department finally drops, and Spotify knows it.

The streaming giant added a countdown to Taylor Swift’s artist page on Thursday, March 28, to let fans know exactly how much time remains until her 11th studio album drops.

Fans visiting Swift’s page via desktop need only scroll to the bottom of her “Popular” heading to see a link to the release countdown. Following the link leads to the album’s prerelease page, which displays the cover art and track listing along with a counter displaying exactly how many days, hours, minutes and seconds remain until it is available. There is also a button to presave the album.

The track listing shows 16 songs. Seven are tagged as explicit, while two feature other artists. The album’s opening track, “Fortnight,” features Post Malone, while track 8, “Florida!!!,” is with Florence + the Machine.

Taylor Swift Announces ‘Albatross’ Edition of 'Tortured Poets Department'

Swift, 34, first announced the upcoming album at the 2024 Grammys while she was accepting her award for Best Pop Vocal Album for Midnights, which debuted in 2022.

“[The way I can celebrate] is by telling you a secret that I’ve been keeping from you for the past two years, which is that my brand new album comes out April 19,” she said at the February awards show. “It’s called The Tortured Poets Department, and I’m going to go post the cover right now backstage.”

In addition to the standard version of the album that Spotify is teasing, Swift will release four bonus editions, each featuring one of four additional tracks, titled “The Manuscript,” “The Bolter,” “The Albatross” and “The Black Dog.”

“I needed to make [TTPD],” Swift said during her February 16 concert in Melbourne, Australia. “It was really a lifeline for me. It sort of reminded me of why songwriting is something that actually gets me through life, and I’ve never had an album where I’ve needed songwriting more than I needed it on Tortured Poets.”

Every Theory Swifties Have About 'The Tortured Poets Department'

Swift hasn’t confirmed the inspirations behind the album, but fan theories abound, with many pointing to the end of her six-year relationship with Joe Alwyn as one of the possible topics discussed. Alwyn, 33, previously revealed that he and Paul Mescal have a group chat with Andrew Scott called “The Tortured Man Club.”

Swift is currently on a two-month break from her worldwide Eras Tour after finishing a six-show swing in Singapore earlier this month. She will return with four shows in France beginning May 9.

The Tortured Poets Department will be Swift’s first studio album since Midnights and will be released on April 19.

Host Jeff Probst Is ‘Absolutely Not’ Changing the Flint Rule on ‘Survivor’

Robert Voets/CBS

The Yanu tribe on Survivor 46 set a new record for futility and suffering by losing the first four immunity challenges of the season.

That means that not only did Yanu have to go to Tribal Council and vote someone out three times — only saved from a fourth time due to a medical evac — the tribe also did not have flint for the first 11 days of the game.

Without flint, Yanu was not able to make fire, meaning they could not cook food.

Eleven days is the longest a tribe has gone without flint in the new era, which began with Survivor 41. Yanu’s three remaining members were cold, hungry and miserable before they finally won immunity by placing second in the season’s fifth immunity challenge.

Robert Voets/CBS

It may seem cruel to deprive castaways of the bare essentials for so long, but one of the mottos of the new era is “earn everything,” so don’t expect a rules shake-up in the near future.

Host Jeff Probst was asked about that on “On Fire,” the official Survivor podcast, following the Wednesday, March 27, episode.

Producer Jay Wolff wondered if, perhaps, withholding flint from tribes until they win immunity was a little too harsh.

Survivor's Biggest Villains and Fan Favorites

“Does it at all make you rethink the flint penalty?” he asked.

Probst played with listeners a little bit, first saying, “Absolutely,” then pausing briefly before adding, “Not.”

“Let me get a bullhorn,” he added. “The new era is here. Everyone earn everything. Penalties for losing. Yeah, expect more of that. This is what Survivor is about. If you want a ‘fun’ experience, go find another show. This is Survivor.”

Jeff Probst Is Not Changing the Survivor Flint Rule
Robert Voets/CBS

Probst often says the game is meant to test castaways, pushing them farther than they’ve ever been pushed before.

“This is why people want it, because there is a penalty for losing, because you have to survive without a flint or whatever the condition is,” he said.

Probst has even taken some joy in keeping flint from the tribe he so often refers to as “the losers.”

Biggest ‘Survivor’ Onscreen Controversies Through the Years

“I loved keeping their flint — not because I love inflicting pain, but because it’s a consequence, and Survivor has a lot of consequences,” he said. “The biggest one is you get voted out and your game is over. So you lose an immunity, you lose a player, you lose your flint, you lose your morale, suddenly you’re hungry or you lose your patience, and it just makes a moment when you do win, like this one, so satisfying.”

While the Siga tribe lost their flint in the most recent episode, their suffering will likely be short-lived. The preview for next week’s episode indicated that the merge is coming, and the three tribes will come together as one to compete in challenges individually.

Survivor airs on CBS Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET, with “On Fire” releasing immediately after.
