Katie Cassidy Is ‘Open’ to Future Stephen Huszar Engagement After Divorce

Katie Cassidy Hints Shes Open to Future Stephen Huszar Engagement After Past Divorce

Katie Cassidy’s 2020 divorce hasn’t soured her from the idea of one day walking down the aisle with boyfriend Stephen Huszar.

“It’s a conversation I’ve had with myself that I don’t think I expected to have with myself,” Cassidy, 37, exclusively told Us Weekly on Friday, May 10, at the Race To Erase MS Gala at Fairmont Century Plaza. “If that tells you anything at all. I think I’m certainly more open to something, whether it be now or in the near future with this person, but I certainly didn’t ever think that I could say that again.”

Cassidy was previously married to Matthew Rodgers, filing for divorce in 2020. Nearly three years later, she connected with Huszar, 40, on the set of Hallmark’s A Royal Christmas Crush. The pair privately started dating, debuting their romance in July 2023 ahead of the film premiere. (Cassidy previously told Us that she and Huszar kept their relationship a secret to remain professional on set.)

According to the actress, their relationship is still “doing great.”

Katie Cassidy and Stephen Huszar’s Romance: Hallmark Costars to Couple

“He’s amazing. I’ve never really thought I would date another actor. He’s incredible,” Cassidy gushed to Us. “We’re very happy. It’s been amazing when you meet somebody and it just sort of makes sense. You didn’t ever think it would or weren’t necessarily looking for it and then it sort of happened.”

The chemistry with Huszar “definitely caught” Cassidy “by surprise” following her divorce.

“I think you live and learn and you just have to go through it and have an open heart and trust,” she said of finding love again after heartbreak. “I think what was great was I was focusing on more of myself during the time that he and I met. I wasn’t looking for [a relationship].”

She continued, “I was open, but I was still a little hesitant but he and I, after working together towards the end, we became really good friends and then we were professional but once we were done, sparks happened.”

Once A Royal Christmas Crush wrapped, the two “homebodies” enjoyed low-key date nights.

“We like cooking [and] spending time at home,” Cassidy added on Friday. “But we also love to travel. During the [SAG-AFTRA] strike, we had time to travel and do all these wonderful things.”

Cassidy previously tied the knot with Rodgers in December 2017. Us confirmed three years later in January 2020 that Cassidy filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The motion was finalized in March 2021.

DWTS' Emma Slater Hopes Mauricio Umansky Will ‘Be in My Life Forever’

Dancing With the Stars pro Emma Slater thinks she will always have former partner Mauricio Umansky in her corner.

“I really think that Mauricio is someone who’s going to be in my life forever,” Slater, 35, exclusively told Us Weekly on Friday, May 10, at the Race to Erase MS Gala at the Fairmont Century Plaza. “We really do click. We sort of went through difficult times at the same time together and were each other’s confidants. It was a really nice season. Difficult for both of us, but we’re really really grateful that we had each other.”

Slater was partnered with Umansky, 53, for season 32 of the ballroom dancing competition. At the time, he was newly separated from wife Kyle Richards. Slater, meanwhile, was previously married to fellow DWTS pro Sasha Farber and filed for divorce in February 2023. (DWTS season 32 rehearsals started the following summer, but it’s not clear if her “difficult” journey was related to the divorce.)

“You get really close to your partners on the season,” Slater told Us on Friday. “He’s such an amazing person. We have such a good friendship that it meant a lot that he was able to come to the [DWTS] tour and support as well.”

Former ‘DWTS’ Partners That Stayed Good Friends After the Show

Slater and many of her fellow pro dancers toured the United States at the end of season 32. Umansky came to watch the live show in March.

“It’s so nice to have Mauricio come and watch the Dancing With the Stars tour,” Slater gushed.

Slater and Umansky’s friendship sparked speculation from fans, who clocked their intense stage chemistry. They were also spotted holding hands in between rehearsals but shut down dating rumors.

“For full clarity, we are not dating,” Umansky previously said in an October 2023 Instagram Story video. “We’ve been dancing together now for six weeks, four hours a day every single day.”

Slater chimed in at the time, explaining that they share “similar personalities” and are very “supportive” of one another.

Every Time ‘DWTS’ Partners Have Defended Their Onstage Chemistry

Umansky had used DWTS — he was eliminated on the October 31, 2023, broadcast — to help cope with his recent breakup. Us confirmed in July 2023 that he and Richards, 55, had separated shortly before the pair denied third-party involvement.

Umansky and Richards, who share three daughters, have yet to file for divorce but the Buying Beverly Hills star recently moved out.

“Kyle and Mauricio have been living separately for the last few months and he’s been staying [in a new condo],” a source exclusively told Us earlier this month. “They’ve both been traveling a lot recently, so it’s working out where they don’t stay under one roof.”

Shortly after Us broke the news of Umansky’s new pad, Richards officially removed his last name from her social media bios.

See the Best Photos From Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Nigeria Tour

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle jetted off to Nigeria for their first official visit to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

Harry, 39, cofounded the Invictus Games to honor injured military veterans. (The duke previously served in the British Army for 10 years.) To celebrate the milestone anniversary of the organization, Harry and Meghan visited Nigeria in May. They met locals, watched Invictus-style sports competitions and promoted mental health awareness.

“It’s something that we are still relatively unsure of. But guess what? Every single person in this room, the youngest, the oldest, every single person has mental health.” Harry told local school-aged children on Friday, May 10. “So therefore, you have to look after yourself to be able to look after other people. And other people have to be able to look after themselves, to look after you. That’s the way it works. And there is no shame to be able to acknowledge that today is a bad day, OK?”

Meghan, 42, was in awe of her husband’s remarks. “You see why I’m married to him?” she joked.

As the pair visited young students on Friday, Meghan gushed about her and Harry’s kids: Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. “Our daughter, Lili, she’s much, much tinier than you guys. She’s about to turn 3,” Meghan said. “A few weeks ago, she looked at me and she would just see the reflection in my eyes. She [said], ‘Mama, I see me in you.’”

Creed Frontman Scott Stapp Is 'Focusing' on His Kids Amid Jaclyn Divorce

Creed frontman Scott Stapp is prioritizing family amid his ongoing divorce from estranged wife Jaclyn Strapp.

“A lot of time has passed since [they split],” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. “Scott’s just focusing on his relationship with his kids and the busy schedule ahead.”

Scott, 50 shares daughter Milan, 17, and sons Daniel, 13, and Anthony, 9, with Jaclyn. He is also a father to son Jagger, 25, whom he shares with ex-wife Hillaree Burns.

Scott and Jaclyn, 43, wed in July 2006, calling it quits almost two decades later.

“After much prayer and consideration, Jaclyn has chosen to end her 18-year marriage with Scott,” a rep for Jaclyn told Us. “It’s been a long battle and while this isn’t the future she envisioned, she wishes him the best.”

The spokesperson added, “The welfare of their children will always be her utmost concern and kindly asks for privacy during this personal time.”

A rep for Scott also addressed the situation in a separate statement to Us, noting the musician plans to “navigate this difficult time privately.”

The estranged couple are now moving forward with a divorce. While Jaclyn initially filed to dissolve their marriage in 2022 and again in 2023, she ultimately withdrew her motion. Scott then submitted his own divorce petition in May 2023, nearly six months before announcing Creed’s latest tour.

Scott recently reunited with Creed for two cruises with fans last month ahead of their Summer of ‘99 tour, which kicks off in July and is set to hit 40 North American cities. Scott is balancing being a rockstar with raising his and Jaclyn’s kids. According to Scott, his children are also big music fans.

“Oh man, my daughter’s into everything. Right now, she’s a musician.” he gushed to Esquire in March of Milan. “She plays piano, guitar, drums, and she records. She’s recently gone through her Metallica phase, where she’s learned all the Metallica riffs, and then she’s playing scales, then she went on to Nirvana.”

According to Scott, Milan has “already” mastered several Creed songs.

“And then she’s also into a lot of the pop artists,” he added at the time. “Not only does she like rock and metal, she likes what any 17-year-old girl would like, from Taylor Swift to, what’s her name, SZA?”

Scott’s sons also like pop music — and their “daddy’s music.”

“Last night, my son, I guess, stumbled across, or maybe I stumbled across on my phone, an article on SZA and me. And I said, ‘Son, do you know who this is?’ And he goes, ‘Yeah, I do. I listen to her,’” he recalled to Esquire. “I was like, ‘Oh, I guess she’s talking about your dad.’ He was like, ‘Really?’ It was a cool moment where I got to experience that with my son. Now my little Anthony, he loves his daddy’s music. He wants to get in the car when he’s with me and he wants to hear all the heaviest songs.”

Frankie Valli's Family Guide: Meet His 6 Children and Their Mothers

In addition to his legendary music career, Frankie Valli is a father of six.

The Four Seasons frontman first became a father figure in 1957 when he married ex-wife Mary Mandel, who shared daughter Celia with a former partner. Valli and Mandel later welcomed two more children together before they divorced in 1971.

Valli went on to marry Mary Ann Hannigan. After eight years together, the pair separated, and Valli moved on with Randy Clohessy. The twosome welcomed three sons before they ultimately split in 2004.

The Grease singer has also weathered his fair share of tragedy. Celia died in 1980 after falling off a fire escape. Months later, Valli’s daughter Francine died of a drug overdose.

“To be very honest with you, sometimes I don’t know. It was a very tough period for me. You would think that as time went by it would get easier,” Valli told The Telegraph in a 2018 profile. “But it doesn’t. You should never lose a child.”

Nearly six years later, Valli was granted a protective order against his son Francesco. According to court documents obtained by People in May 2024, Valli’s son Emilio filed documents on behalf of himself and the musician, requesting that Francesco cease any contact with the family. Emilio claimed that Francesco repeatedly threatened him and Valli and allegedly stole his father’s personal belongings.

Toni is the eldest daughter of Valli and Mandel. Toni later married Gerry Polci, a member of her father’s Four Seasons band, in 1987.

“I first saw him when I was 15,” she previously told The New York Times in 1995. “I fell in love with him the first time I ever saw him. My father had been raving about him as a drummer — the best he had ever heard, he said — but when he saw how I felt about Gerry, my father said I wasn’t going to marry any musician.”

Toni and Polci welcomed children Olivia and Dario ahead of their eventual divorce. Olivia is a Broadway actress, who once played Mandel in a 2019 production of Jersey Boys.

Francine Valli

Valli and Mandel welcomed Francine in 1960. She died at the age of 20 in 1980 after an accidental drug overdose.

Francesco, born in 1988, is Valli’s first son with Clohessy. Like his niece Olivia, Francesco is an actor who appeared in Full House, The House Bunny and Reach Me.

Francesco’s brother Emilio filed a temporary restraining order against him in April 2024, claiming that Francesco was “addicted to opiates” and allegedly broke into Valli’s home to steal his belongings. A judge granted the order one month later, barring Francesco from having any contact with Valli and his siblings.

“Frankie is saddened by these unfortunate events and appreciates that his privacy will be respected as he works out these family issues,” a rep for the singer said in a statement at the time.

“This is really a highlight of my life, especially having my sons here and my wife sitting right there,” Valli said at the time, referring to Jacobs and the twins.

Vanessa Marcil Defends Megan Fox Over Machine Gun Kelly Romance Criticism

Vanessa Marcil is not here for trolls shaming Megan Fox for her rocky relationship with Machine Gun Kelly.

“FEMALE TRIBE — Are y’all really still out here saying STUPID, TRANSPARENT (jealousy) s—t about each other? Tearing each other down? Calling each other whores????” Marcil, 55, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, May 5, alongside screenshots of negative comments about Fox, 37, and her relationship status. “How many men do y’all know who AREN’T whores if given the chance???? What do women do when men cheat? They stay with them. If the man is rich? They will even idolize him.”

She continued, “While you are out fighting other women, PUBLICLY tearing other women down and standing up for/deadbeat men? Men are laughing at us and still ruling the world. They are having us do all of the heavy lifting around raising their kids AND They are cheating on you literally or they are addicted to porn while NOT standing for you to have basic human equal rights. If men all stood with us? They could change the laws and make us ACTUALLY equals instantly. Pull it together and stand with other women. We are still the minorities.”

Marcil, who shares son Kassius, 22, with Fox’s ex-husband Brian Austin Green, further implored her followers to give women “the same grace” as they do to men.

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s Relationship Timeline

Fox started dating Kelly, 34, in 2020 following her divorce from Green, with whom she shares three sons. Kelly proposed two years later as the pair frequently discussed being “twin flames” and “soulmates.”

Fox and Kelly hit their first major rough patch in February 2023 when they got into an argument at a pre-Super Bowl party. Since then, they have stalled their wedding plans and been living separately. During Fox’s March appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, she declined to comment on their status in depth.

“What I’ve learned about being in this relationship is that it’s not for public consumption,” she told podcast host Alex Cooper. “So, I think as of now, I don’t have a comment on the status of the relationship per se.”

Brian Austin Green's Family Guide: Meet His Children

Fox, however, did note that their bond could be “confusing” or “interesting” to fans.

“What I can say is that [he] is what I refer to as being my twin soul, and there will always be a tether to him no matter what,” the actress said at the time. “I cannot say for sure what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him somehow. Beyond that, I’m not willing to explain.”

Green, meanwhile, has moved on with Sharna Burgess with whom he shares son Zane, 22 months.  The couple previously told Us Weekly in March 2023 that they have a “fantastic” coparenting relationship with Fox.

“I think people make a mistake in life of thinking that it’s not going to affect the kids if they do a certain thing, and it’s going to affect the kids no matter what,” Green, 50, told Us. “The only thing you really have control over is how it affects the kids, and luckily, Megan and I have been fantastic. Megan and Sharna have a fantastic relationship.”

Taylor Swift's Dancer Jan Ravnik Choreographs 'So Long, London' Routine

Taylor Swift’s backup dancers have kept their muscles loose during her Eras Tour hiatus.

Jan Ravnik, for his part, recently choreographed a lyrical piece to Swift’s “So Long, London.”

In a video shared via Instagram on Sunday, May 5, Ravnik performed the routine with So You Think You Can Dance alum Audrey Case Shell. The pair danced in a warehouse, sporting coordinating white dancewear, as they did partner work and various acrobatic tricks.

“So Long, London” is one of the songs on The Tortured Poets Department, which Swift, 34, dropped last month. In an Instagram Story caption, Ravnick noted that “So Long, London” is his “favorite at the moment.”

A Guide to Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ Backup Dancers and Vocalists

After Ravnik uploaded his rendition of the track, many fellow dancers praised his interpretation.

“This is STUNNING,” Dancing With the Stars pro Witney Carson gushed.

Ezra Sosa, another DWTS star, added: “You better bring this to Eras Tour!”

Ravnik has been one of Swift’s backup dancers since she kicked off her three-hour concert series in March 2023. After traversing the United States, Swift and her crew began the international leg that November. The shows have been on hiatus since March following the Eras gigs in Australia, Singapore and Japan.

In that time, Swift released TTPD on April 19 and broke multiple sales and streaming records.

Blackpink’s Lisa Hangs With Taylor Swift at Her Singapore ‘Eras Tour’ Show

“My mind is blown. I’m completely floored by the love you’ve shown this album,” Swift wrote via X later that month. “2.6 million ARE YOU ACTUALLY SERIOUS?? Thank you for listening, streaming, and welcoming Tortured Poets into your life. Feeling completely overwhelmed.”

She continued, “I was already so fired up to get back to the tour but you doing THIS?? May 9th can’t come soon enough.”

Swift begins the European leg of Eras on Thursday, May 9, in Paris. While she is ecstatic about getting back on the road, it is not known if TTPD will be added to the official setlist — the concert notably features a selection of songs from each of her past albums — at every show. It is also possible that TTPD tracks could be swapped into the rotation “surprise song” section of the shows.

Gearing up for Thursday’s concert, Ravnik and several of his fellow Eras dancers have already said bonjour to Paris per social media footage.

After three sold-out concerts in France — with opening act Paramore — Swift and her crew will perform around Europe and the United Kingdom throughout the summer. The shows return to North America in the fall.

Would The Idea of You's Nicholas Galitzine Do an August Moon Concert?

Nicholas Galitzine Taylor Hill/FilmMagic

The Idea of You’s August Moon was clearly made to fill the void that was created by One Direction when they took their 2016 hiatus — but could the fictional boy band headline a real-life concert?

The Prime Video film, which is now streaming, follows August Moon boy band member Hayes Campbell (Nicholas Galitzine) as he embarks on a secret romance with 40-year-old single mother Solène Marchand (played by Anne Hathaway). The couple meet at Coachella, fulfilling every fanfiction reader’s dream come true. Galitzine, 29, filmed and recorded several musical performances as part of August Moon alongside fellow bandmates Raymond Cham Jr., Viktor White, Dakota Adan and Jaiden Anthony.

However, Galitizine is the only one who contributed his own vocals. “My boys don’t sing, and I don’t dance very well,” the Mary & George star told Backstage in a profile published earlier this month. “So I’d say we’re a little bit against it in that respect.”

However, he won’t rule out an official August Moon concert. “That said, it isn’t a definite no. Any opportunity to hang out with the lads again, I’d jump at it.”

Every Time 'The Idea of You' Reminded Us of One Direction and Harry Styles

As the movie debuted on the streamer, an official soundtrack was released with songs “Taste,” “Dance Before We Walk,” “Closer,” “I Got You” and the instant fan hit “Guard Down.” Galitzine also sings on two solo tracks: “The Idea of You” and “Go Rogue.”

The tracks have since taken over many boy band fans’ playlists.

“So who do we need to bully to get the august moon videos in full. I know they exist I need Teacher Nick in its entirety,” one X user wrote, sharing stills of the movie’s fake “Guard Down” video.

Another added, “I love August Moon. I wish they were real.”

And if there’s any doubt that August Moon was the perfect new boy band of our dreams, that’s because it was meant to be one. Savan Kotecha, who previously worked with One Direction, served as the film’s music supervisor and composed the tunes.

BTS! 1D! ‘NSync! Look Back at the 22 Biggest Boy Bands of All Time

“We have to believe that this band was big enough to earn a spot at Coachella,” Kotecha told Variety. “That’s kind of where the structure began to manifest in a sense. ‘What would have been their very first single?’ That very young teeny bopper song that was on the radio? That was ‘I Got You’ — that’s like a throwback, August Moon song. ‘Taste’ is like their second big hit and both those are catchy pop songs that I could see a label handing off to a manufactured boyband. After that, the band gains a bit more control — the lyrics have more meaning, the sound is a bit edgier — that’s ‘Guard Down.’”

The Idea of You is currently streaming on Prime Video.

Was Travis Kelce's Derby Suit Meant to Match Taylor Swift's Grammys Gown?

Travis Kelce stepped out in style at the Kentucky Derby, and it seems to Us that he might have taken a cue from girlfriend Taylor Swift.

Kelce, 34, rocked an ivory pinstripe suit to the Louisville, Kentucky racetrack on Saturday, May 4, which he paired with a feather-accented fedora. According to fans, the look appeared to mimic the ensemble that Swift, also 34, had worn several months earlier at the Grammys.

Swift kicked off her Tortured Poets Department era at the February awards show, rocking the red carpet in a white, strapless Schiaparelli gown with matching black gloves and a choker necklace. (After winning big at the Grammys, Swift announced LP TTPD, which has a moody academic vibe. The album dropped on April 19.)

Social media fans immediately flocked to X to note the similarities between the two outfits.

“Is that Travis Kelce? Are you going to be on the next Taylor Swift album? LMAO,” one social media user wrote as another joked that Kelce was wearing Swift’s “22” hat from her Eras Tour.

A third fan posted a side-by-side of the two outfits, jokingly writing, “They look like they’re about to set sail on the Titanic.”

Swift appeared at the Grammys solo as Kelce was gearing up for the Super Bowl one week later. However, he was still able to watch her victory moment — and red carpet strut — on television. (Swift and Kelce have been dating since summer 2023.)

“It was fresh,” Kelce told reporters of her red carpet outfit at his pre-Super Bowl press conference. “It’s all about accessories when you go to an awards show like that. She killed it.”

Every Time Taylor Swift Wore a Moody Outfit Ahead of Releasing ‘TTPD’

Kelce similarly rolled up unattached to the Kentucky Derby. Swift is currently getting ready to travel to Paris for the next leg of concerts on her Eras Tour.

Swift kicked off her live tour — her first in four years — in March 2023. After a sold-out run in North America, the international dates commenced that November. Earlier this year, Swift brought the shows to Australia, Singapore and Japan. She has since been on a brief hiatus throughout March and April ahead of her European dates this summer.

Brittney Griner Wanted to Take Her Life 'More Than Once' in Russian Prison

Brittney Griner detailed her time in a Russian prison and her life since being released in a 20/20 interview with Robin Roberts.

During the Wednesday, May 1, episode of the ABC News program, Griner, 33, opened up about being detained after THC was found in her luggage at a Russian airport. The basketball star said that after signing a “form written in Russian” that she “couldn’t read,” she was handcuffed and taken to a 7×7 cell with “a metal bed and a hole in the ground for the toilet” where she was forced to use her own clothes to clean herself.

“I had a couple of shirts a couple pair of sweats, the shoes on my feet,” she told Roberts, 63. “One of my shirts, I ripped it up and used one to clean myself and one as my toilet paper with my dirty hole in the ground with feces all over it. That was the moment I felt the dirtiest and less than a human.”

She was later transferred to IK1, where she was put in a group cell that contained a knife left behind by a guard after lunch. Griner described her sleeping area as being filled with “dirt, grime and absolute filth,” calling it the “dirtiest” she felt during her nine-month prison stay.

WNBA Star Brittney Griner and Wife Cherelle Griner's Relationship Timeline

Griner recalled her mattress, which didn’t fit her 6’9 build, having “a huge blood stain on it,” and that there were some months when prisoners received no toilet paper. Their toothpaste, meanwhile, was 15 years past its expiration date.

“We used to put it on the black mold to kill the mold on the walls,” she said.

When it came to the food, Griner told Roberts that mornings consisted of a “really thick porridge” that was “more like cement,” while dinner was “a little piece of fish with nothing but bones in it.”

Griner noted that 15 minutes of recreational time outside would often turn into two hours, and the prisoners would have to “bang on the bars” begging the guards to let them back in. Eventually, she was forced to cut off her dreadlocks because they kept freezing. “You gotta do what you gotta do to survive,” she added.

As she recalled the harrowing conditions, Griner confessed that it was in her first few weeks in confinement that she considered suicide. “I wanted to take my life so more than once in those first weeks, I felt like leaving here so badly,” she shared while holding back tears. “I didn’t think I could get through what I needed to get through.”

Ultimately, however, Griner decided to push forward for the benefit of her loved ones. “I was just like, what if they didn’t release my body to my family? I can’t put them through that. I have to endure this.”

Griner’s final stop was at a penal colony called IK2, which Roberts described as one of the “worst prisons in Russia.” Griner, for her part, called it a work camp where there was “no rest.”

“Conditions were rough in the buildings there were about 50-60 women in my room, one bathroom, three toilets, no hot water and a long farm-style sink where everybody is washing all types of body parts,” Griner recalled, noting that spiders would make nests above her bed — another reason for cutting her hair.

Before she was released, Griner revealed that she had to write a letter to the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, to ask for “forgiveness.”

“I didn’t want to do it,” she said, “but I wanted to come home.”

Griner also broke down the day she was detained.

“How was I this absent-minded?” the WNBA star said in a segment that first aired on Good Morning America earlier on Wednesday. “I could just visualize everything I worked so hard for just crumbling and going away. Granted, my mental lapse was on a more grand scale, but it doesn’t take away from how that can happen. At the end of the day, it’s my fault, and I let everybody down.”

Griner was arrested at a Moscow airport in February 2022 while she was in the country to play for UMMC Ekaterinburg during her WNBA offseason. Local law enforcement officers claimed that Griner smuggled hash oil cartridges in her luggage and subsequently arrested her. Six months later, Griner stood trial and pleaded guilty but asserted that “there was no intent.” A Russian judge found her guilty in August 2022 and sentenced the athlete to nine years in prison and a fine of 1 million rubles.

Griner was ultimately released in December 2022 as part of a prisoner exchange.

“This is a day we’ve worked towards for a long time,” President Joe Biden said in a press conference at the time. “It took intense negotiations and I want to thank all the hardworking public servants across my administration who worked tirelessly to secure her release.”

He added, “These past few months have been hell for Brittney and [her wife] Cherelle [Griner]. People all across the country have learned about Brittney’s story and advocated for her release and stood with her throughout this terrible ordeal, and I know that support meant a lot to her family. I’m glad to be able to say that Brittney is in good spirits and relieved to finally be heading home.”

Who Is Brittney Griner? What to Know About the WNBA Star Detained in Russia

Cherelle, 31, fervently advocated for Brittney’s release following the arrest. The couple met in college before getting engaged in August 2018. Brittney and Cherelle wed one year later in June 2019. They are currently expecting their first baby together.

“Can’t believe we’re less than three months away from meeting our favorite human being 🤍,” the spouses captioned a joint Instagram post last month, sharing ultrasound photos.

Brittney and Cherelle added hashtags for “Baby Griner Coming Soon” and “July 2024,” to indicate their due date.

How Busy Philipps' Daughter Birdie Going to Boarding School 'Freed’ Up Bond

Busy Philipps is proud of eldest daughter Birdie’s “whole journey” at boarding school in Sweden.

“We have a really tight relationship and she’s very much like her mother in all kinds of ways and she’s super expressive, so it’s not as much of a typical teenager,” Philipps, 44, exclusively told Us Weekly on Wednesday, May 1, while discussing Mental Health Awareness Month. “She’s been in boarding school this year abroad [and] it’s a whole journey. It was not my choice [for her to go]. I mean, it was her choice, but I mean, I encouraged her to [spread her wings].”

She added, “I think it’s really great for her to experience another culture and also it has freed our relationship up to being more about the fun things and less about ‘Clean your room,’ ‘Do your laundry,’ ‘Get out of bed’ [and] ‘Eat your vegetables.’ Now there’s someone else that’s doing that and so I just get kind of the fun stuff.”

Philipps shares Birdie, 16, with ex-husband Marc Silverstein, alongside youngest daughter Cricket, 10. In the midst of Birdie’s high school tenure, she enrolled at an institution located in Sweden. While Philipps is able to see Birdie “every day” via FaceTime, she does miss being able to “hold her” daughter.

Busy Philipps: Parenting Requires You to ‘Rely on Lots of People'

“She got really sick in the winter and not being there was really difficult,” Philipps told Us, referring to Birdie’s recent seizure that led to an epilepsy diagnosis. “So that all has been challenging. But also, I really am so proud of her and the person that she wants [to be]. She’s very independent like her mother. [And] especially given the pandemic and the last few years and what these kids have kind of experienced, they’ve spent enough time with their parents, [and] are like, ‘Can I be around some kids, please?’”

While Birdie is now thriving at her boarding school — and “doing really well” healthwise — Cricket continues to live at home in the United States with Philipps.

“Cricket is her own person with her own really unique interests and we’ll see what it all looks like for Cricket,” the Girls5Eva star said of her youngest daughter. Philipps also defended her decision to not frequently share updates of Cricket on social media. “I am more reticent to [post] about Cricket just because it’s not her thing. And so, I just really respect that. She’s like, ‘Let me be my own person,’ and I get it. I love that for her.”

Brian Austin Green, Megan Fox and More Former Couples Crushing Coparenting

In addition to coparenting her daughters with Silverstein, Philipps is prioritizing her own mental health and learning to adjust to her ADHD diagnosis.

“I mean, [my diagnosis has] changed everything,” she told Us. “My executive function skills have improved so greatly. I’m also so much more aware and able to prioritize because I think that’s a big piece of it too, that when everything feels sort of mixed up, it’s hard to know how to prioritize things in your brain.”

Adele and Boyfriend Rich Paul Cuddle Courtside at Los Angeles Lakers Game

Adele and Rich Paul’s romance continues to be nothing but net.

The Grammy winner, 35, and Paul, 42, attended the Los Angeles Lakers’ Saturday, April 27, basketball playoff game against the Denver Nuggets. The couple sat courtside in the Crypto.com Arena.

Adele also brought her fashion A-game to the matchup, sporting a black blazer over a white blouse and coordinating dark trousers. She completed her look with ivory pumps. Paul, for his part, opted for black leather pants and a denim jacket.

The couple ultimately watched the Lakers win 119-108, keeping their playoff hopes alive. (The Nuggets are currently leading the series.)

Adele and Rich Paul's Complete Relationship Timeline

Adele was first linked to Paul, a sports agent who represents many Lakers stars, in July 2021 when they went to Game 5 of the NBA finals together. The pair made their Instagram debut two months later.

“[Rich is] just hilarious. Oh, he’s so funny, he’s hilarious, yeah. And very smart. You know, he’s very, very smart. It’s quite incredible watching him do what he does,” Adele gushed during a November 2021 CBS interview. “It’s just timing. But it’d be interesting to see what my reaction is like in general to anything that hurts me now that I feel so secure in myself, and I’m talking outside of romance as well.”

The “I Set Fire to Rain” artist, who shares son Angelo with ex-husband Simon Konecki, has since had fans wondering if she and Paul secretly tied the knot. During several of Adele’s Las Vegas concerts in 2023, she referred to Paul as her “husband.”

“I have spent a lot of my time trying to understand and also enjoy American football,” she said during a September 2023 show. “I’m not the greatest wife when it comes to football even though my partner absolutely loves it.”

Us Weekly confirmed weeks later that the pair had not legally wed.

“They aren’t married but they do call each other husband and wife and have been for a while now,” a source exclusively told Us in October 2023. “Adele loved the security [of it] and how much he adores her. Marriage is really just a ceremony at this point. They [already] live and act as husband and wife.”

Neither Adele nor Paul have revealed if an official wedding is in the cards, but he has no issues with the speculation.

“You can say whatever you want,” Paul quipped in October 2023 after Gayle King asked on CBS Mornings if Adele goes by “Mrs. Paul” following the rumors. “She’s been great [for me]. I think she would agree that we’ve definitely helped each other. We’re in a good space [and] happy. She’s superb.”

Rihanna is planning to grace Us with her presence at the 2024 Met Gala — and already picked out her ensemble.

“I’m actually just keeping it real simple this year. Very simple,” Rihanna, 36, told Extra in an interview published on Saturday, April 27. “I think it’s gonna come to what my makeup and what my hair is going to do. We wanna play with that, but I have no idea what I’m gonna do with that.”

The musician further teased that the look is more demure “compared to everything” she’s previously worn to the annual benefit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

“I’m showing up for dinner,” Rihanna added. “Shout-out to Anna Wintour.”

Rihanna’s Met Gala Fashion Evolution Is Truly Epic

Famed Vogue editor Wintour, 74, hosts the annual Costume Institute fundraiser each May to support the legendary New York City museum. Every year, Wintour sets a theme and encourages all attendees to follow it with their looks. This May’s event celebrates “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” with a “Garden of Time” dress code.

While it is not known what Rihanna’s dress will look like — she told Extra she is down to two options — she is sharing how she will accessorize it.

“I’m gonna wear Fenty something! Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, Fenty Savage,” Rihanna teased to Vogue earlier this month, referring to her fashion empire.

Met Gala 2024 Theme Explained, and How We Want Celebs to Interpret It

The look, however, likely will not be too revealing.

“I’ve done so much s—t in my life. I’ve had my nipples out, my panties out,” Rihanna told Vogue. “But now, those are the things which, I guess as a mom and an evolved young lady — emphasis on young — there are things I feel like I would never do. Like, ‘Oh my God, I really did that? Nips out?’”

Rihanna became a mother in May 2022, welcoming son RZA with partner ASAP Rocky. The “Diamonds” singer revealed she was expecting baby No. 2. less than one year later at the 2023 Super Bowl. Months later in May 2023, she showed off her bump at the Met Gala in a fitted Valentino gown. Rihanna and Rocky’s second son, Riot Rose, was born in August 2023.

See Bachelor Joey and Fiancee Kelsey Reunite With Maria at Stagecoach

Stagecoach Festival is once again the place for the who’s who of Bachelor Nation to reconnect — even if they’re exes.

Joey Graziadei and his fiancée, Kelsey Anderson, stepped out at the Indio, California, music festival on Saturday, April 27, in matching straw cowboy hats. Kelsey, 25, wore hers with a white blouse and denim cutoffs and a pair of cross earrings. Joey, 28, opted for a Hawaiian-style shirt with a jean jacket and a blue bandana.

In between performances, Joey and Kelsey got a hydration treatment from Drip Labs at a rented villa. They were there getting IVs alongside Maria Georgas, who made it to Joey’s final four on The Bachelor season 28.

Drip Labs shared footage of the exes and Kelsey getting their IVs, which Maria, 29, reposted onto her Instagram Story.

“Hydrate me,” Maria captioned a follow-up snap.

Joey also captured footage from the moment, showing off his IV on his Story. “This feels counter-intuitive, but gotta pump the body with the good stuff,” he wrote, sharing a pic of the needle protruding from his arm as he held a cocktail.

Later, Joey and Kelsey watched the festival performances from the diamond VIP area, with an eyewitness telling Us that Kelsey “was sitting on [Joey’s] lap” as they chatted with Hannah Godwin and her husband, Dylan Barbour. Joey also mingled with former Bachelor Peter Weber, but he refused to leave Kelsey behind when they were about to move sections. “[Joey] said, ‘Wait, let me get my girl,’ before heading out,” the insider adds.

Joey and Kelsey met and got engaged on The Bachelor, which aired its season finale in March.

“I think what I’m most excited about is the ability to be around each other so much,” Joey exclusively told Us Weekly later that month. “We finally will be able to just do small things together.”

He added at the time, “We’ll figure out how to navigate [social media criticism] day by day. It’s something that we’re trying not to focus on too much because we got so many other things that we’re excited about that we do want to focus on.”

The Bachelor’s Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson’s Relationship Timeline

Before Joey chose Kelsey for his final rose, he had other strong connections with the likes of Daisy Kent, Rachel Nance and Maria. The tennis instructor ultimately eliminated Maria after hometowns and Rachel following fantasy suites before Daisy left on her own during the finale.

“I think, looking back, watching it has been my closure and everything played out exactly how it should have played out,” Maria told Us at the Women’s Tell All taping. “I think our relationship ran its course and, yeah, it got to a point where I was pulling stunts, trying to leave and we were just all over the place.”

As The Bachelor aired, Maria became a fan-favorite with many calling for her to be the next Bachelorette.

“I mean, it is crazy to think that I was even considered and people want to see me in that position. I’ve never once thought about it, like, to even think I would get the chance,” she told Us. “That would be a crazy experience. I mean, I would be stupid to say no. But yeah, I mean, even being told that I should — I don’t know. I don’t know! It is a lot. But I’m very appreciative of people wanting to see me and see more of me. It’s been very nice to hear.”

It is not known if Maria was ever offered the gig, which was bestowed on Jenn Tran. Her season is currently filming.

Yes, Colin Jost Knows He’s 'Second Gentleman' to Scarlett Johansson

Colin Jost might have been the star of the 2024 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, but he’s first and foremost Scarlett Johansson’s husband.

Jost, 41, hosted the annual gala on Saturday, April 27, with several monologue references to Johansson, 39.

Doug [Emhoff], as you can tell by all the comments about my wife, I’m also used to being the Second Gentleman,” Jost joked, referring to the husband of Vice President Kamala Harris.

Harris, 59, is the first female VP of the United States, with her spouse being referred to as “Second Gentleman.” (The wife of a male VP has previously been called “Second Lady,” following the First Lady as the president’s significant other.)

Jokes aside, Jost knows he’s lucky to be married to Johansson.

“I want to thank my wife for enduring lots of jokes,” the Saturday Night Live comedian continued during his speech. “And agreeing to individually meet every person in this room after the ceremony.”

Jost and Johansson also walked the red carpet together at the WHCD, with the Black Widow actress stunning in a white Armani Privé gown. Jost, for his part, opted for a black tux.

Jost has been married to Johansson since 2020. Their union has frequently been parodied and referenced on SNL.

“New York state now allows movie theaters to serve alcohol, which is how I’m finally able to enjoy my wife’s little art movies,” Jost quipped during a December 2023 episode of SNL’s “Weekend Update,” reading Michael Che’s joke about her 2012 movie The Avengers. “I’m kidding, honey. I love all of your movies. And If you asked me, you’re an even better Black Widow than Coretta Scott King.”

ScarJo: 'I Didn't Know What I Wanted' From a Partner Before Colin Jost

The SNL mention was part of Jost and Che’s annual holiday “joke swap,” where they write quips for one another to read for the first time during the live broadcast. The segment is often hard for Johansson to watch on TV.

“I now rarely watch [SNL] without having a sense of … not overwhelming panic, just like a slight underwhelming panic because I just feel like at any moment something’s going to fall apart,” Johansson said during a July 2021 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show. “And that’s the excitement of SNL and for all audiences, right? Because it’s absolutely live.”

She continued at the time, “But when you’re emotionally invested in it and not just entertained by it, it takes on a little bit of a different life.”

Jost and Johansson share son Cosmo, who was born in 2021. The actress is also mother to daughter Rose, whom she coparents with ex-husband Romain Dauriac.

Kristi Yamaguchi Recalls Olympics Support From Scott Hamilton, More Icons

Kristi Yamaguchi will never forget standing on the Olympic podium with a gold medal around her neck, partially due to the incredible support of the figure skating icons who came before her.

Dorothy Hamill, Scott Hamilton [and] Brian Boitano were all so welcoming and encouraging to me coming up as a young skater,” Yamaguchi, 52, recently told Us Weekly while discussing her new Barbie doll.

Yamaguchi made her Olympics debut in 1992 at the Winter Games in Albertville, France. She won gold, marking the first time an Asian-American athlete took home the top prize at a Winter Olympics.

Before her crowning moment on the podium, she looked up to Hamilton, now 65, Hamill, now 67, and Boitano, now 60, and more icons for guidance and advice.

Olympic Athletes: Where Are They Now?

“The friendships that you make, to this day, I still have very, very fond memories of meeting some of my idols,” Yamaguchi gushed to Us. “[I remember] walking in and sitting down at the dining hall with Bonnie Blair and Dan Jansen, who were big idols of mine.”

She continued, “And then, walking in the opening ceremonies and being announced as a U.S. Olympic team was just so humbling and just so incredible at the same time. And of course, competing, going through that and just pinching myself when I was announced as Olympic champion and brought onto the podium. So, [it was] a whirlwind and has definitely continued to be a whirlwind since then — but in a good way.”

Yamaguchi now likes to “pass [the advice she received] forward” onto the next generations of figure skaters.

“The last Olympic Games I mentored a young skater, Karen Chen, we’re still very close,” she said. “We’re both from the same hometown of Fremont, California, [and I’m currently] mentoring a young junior skater, he’s coming up in the ranks and has a bright future ahead of him. You know, [it’s] always an open door for [any advice or support].”

Go Team USA! RHONJ's Teresa Giudice and More Stars Who Love the Olympics

In terms of advice, Yamaguchi explained to Us that she makes sure the athletes remember to enjoy their time on the ice.

I think the last two years I competed, I enjoyed it the most. I think it’s easy to get caught up in the pressure and the outside pressures and that really weighs down on you,” she said. “So, really think about the core of why you started skating. I think that really helped me come back around and realize the love I have for the sport and that I had so much to give to it even a year before the Olympics not knowing but wanting to go out there and give it my all and see what happens.”

She added, “I think, [remember to enjoy] the process as much as you can because it all happens so fast but also, leave no regrets on the table. Just do everything in your power to go for it.”

Yamaguchi, who retired from competition after the 1992 Games, can now revisit her Olympic glory with a brand-new Barbie doll in her likeness. Mattel created a Yamaguchi doll, wearing a replica of her Olympic costume, for its “Inspiring Women” collection.

“It was pure excitement and honestly a huge honor especially to be part of the ‘Inspiring Women’ series and knowing I’m following in the footsteps of some incredible women that I idolize like Maya Angelou, Anna May Wong [and] Dr. Jane Goodall,” Yamaguchi told Us. “I mean, it was like, ‘Wow, am I put into that category? I’m not so sure.’”

Yamaguchi’s Barbie doll is available now.

Travis Kelce Auctions 'Significant Other' Taylor Swift's 'Eras' Tickets

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift supported his pal Patrick Mahomes’ charity auction with a special ace up their sleeves.

“All right, all right, all right now! I think I was just talking to my significant other,” Kelce, 34, said at the 15 and the Mahomies Vegas Golf Classic on Saturday, April 27, per social media footage. “We might have one other auction item that wasn’t on the docket.”

He continued, “Has anyone heard of the Eras Tour? There might be a fun game where there are four tickets to the Miami, New Orleans or Indianapolis dates when the Eras Tour comes back to the United States. Does that fire anybody up?”

After a rousing bidding war, with Kelce running through the ballroom, the tickets ended up selling for $80,000. The funds raised will support 15 and the Mahomies, the nonprofit launched by Mahomes, 28, who then tossed signed footballs into the crowd for an additional $10,000 each.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Relationship Timeline

Kelce and Swift, 34, hit up the Las Vegas charity gala on Saturday to support Patrick and his wife Brittany Mahomes’ organization. Swift, for her part, stunned in a strapless olive gown with a gold choker necklace while Kelce opted for a blue suit. At one point, the couple even joined the crowd in swirling their red rally towels in the air.

Kelce, a friend and Kansas City Chiefs teammate of Patrick’s, has been dating the pop star since summer 2023. The following September, Swift went to her first of 13 Chiefs games that included Super Bowl LVIII. After Kelce’s NFL season concluded in February, he’s been a doting tour boyfriend and attended several of Swift’s international  Eras Tour dates.

Swift’s concerts have been on hiatus since March, leading up to the promotion of her The Tortured Poets Department album earlier this month. She resumes her live shows in Paris in May, with a source telling Us Weekly that she’ll miss Kelce when she’s on the road.

“[They have] deepened their bond,” the insider exclusively told Us of their time off. “It makes the prospect of her tour more challenging. She’ll be sad, [but] they support and respect [each other]. They have busy careers, so they understand those commitments, as difficult as it is.”

Every Time Travis Kelce Supported Taylor Swift at Her 'Eras Tour' Concerts

Kelce has also hinted that he plans to “support” several of Swift’s international shows, especially looking forward to her Wembley Stadium residency in London. (Swift plays the British venue for several nights in both June and August.)

“I’ll tell you what. The London shows, I think she’s at Wembley eight times, which is mind-blowing that she can do that many shows in one stadium and fill that thing up,” Kelce gushed to Entertainment Tonight earlier in April. “I played at Wembley once and I don’t even think we filled that thing all the way up.”

Kylie Jenner Keeps Up With Gut-Friendly Soda Brand Poppi

Kylie Jenner is keeping up with the latest trends, which extends to beverages.

Jenner, 26, counts herself a fan of soda brand Poppi, which offers drinks made of fruit juice, apple cider vinegar and agave inulin prebiotics. Unlike most sodas, Poppi is chock full of healthy ingredients, has less than 5 grams of sugar and is only 25 calories.

Founded by Stephen and Allison Ellsworth, Poppi exploded after getting a Shark Tank investment before Jenner, Post Malone, Hailey Bieber, Billie Eilish and Jennifer Lopez were left impressed when they tried samples.

“I got really excited to share [Poppi] with people versus, I think, a lot of people who start businesses to get rich,” Allison told Austin Woman magazine in December 2023. “It just feels so good to [help people] cut sugar out of their diets or help someone with stomach problems or give a mom a better beverage for her kids. There’s so much opportunity.”
