North West will make her Hollywood Bowl debut in a concert celebrating one of Disney’s most beloved films, The Lion King.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s eldest child, 10, has joined the star-studded cast of Disney’s The Lion King 30th Anniversary – A Live-to-Film Concert Event. The concert will take place at the Hollywood Bowl amphitheater in Los Angeles on May 24 and May 25 and will air on Disney+ at a later date.

Though it is unknown who North will portray or which songs she will perform, the young artist joins the likes of original Lion King stars Jeremy Irons, Nathan Lane, Ernie Sabella and Jason Weaver, who portrayed Scar, Timon, Pumbaa and the singing voice of young Simba, respectively.

The concert will also include appearances from Broadway stars Bradley Gibson and Heather Headley, “Circle of Life” singer Lebo M. and special guest Jennifer Hudson. Tickets for the Hollywood Bowl concerts are available now on the venue’s website.

“The special will celebrate the 30-year evolution of The Lion King, from the original 1994 animated film to the 1998 Tony Award-winning Broadway musical to the 2019 dramatic live-action film,” the concert’s press release states.

The Lion King anniversary concert is the latest of North’s career achievements. Having previously joined her famous father on stage and in music videos, North became one of the youngest artists to chart on the Billboard Top 100 earlier this year for her verse in Kanye, 46, and Ty Dolla $ign’s song “Talking.” Following the song’s February release, it reached No. 30 on the Top 100 chart.

“It’s your bestie / Miss, Miss Westie,” North raps on the track. “Don’t try to test me / it’s gonna get messy / It’s gonna get messy / Just, just bless me.”

One month later, North announced that she’s currently working on her debut album titled Elementary School Dropout. The album’s title is a nod to Kanye’s breakthrough 2004 record, The College Dropout.

“It’s gonna be great!” North told Jazzy’s World TV in March. When asked if the album will feature any collaborations with Kanye, North teased, “Maybe! We don’t know yet.”

While The Lion King concert will mark a career first for North, the story’s upcoming prequel film, Mufasa: The Lion King, will be the film debut for Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s eldest daughter, Blue Ivy Carter. Disney confirmed the news while releasing the movie’s first trailer last month.

Blue Ivy will portray Kiara, the daughter of Donald Glover’s Simba and Beyoncé’s Nala from the 2019 photo-realistic adaptation. Other returning 2019 cast members include Eichner, 45, as Timon, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa and John Kani as Rafiki.

Aaron Pierre will star as a young Mufasa, formerly voiced by James Earl Jones, alongside Kelvin Harrison Jr., Tiffany Boone, Kagiso Lediga, Preston Nyman, Mads Mikkelsen, Thandiwe Newton, Lennie James, Anika Noni Rose and Keith David. Mufasa will hit theaters in December.

After being in a high-profile relationship with ex Brooklyn Beckham, Chloë Grace Moretz has kept her romance with model Kate Harrison on the down low.

The RHOC season 18 cast trip is expected to take place in London. A Bravo Instagram fan account reposted several of the cast’s April 2024 Instagram Stories featuring snaps from their flight to England.

Former RHOC star Kelly Dodd seemingly confirmed the cast had traveled across the pond in an Instagram video that same month.

In the comics, the foursome received their powers as a result of a space flight gone wrong. Will ‘The Fantastic Four’ Be a Part of the MCU?

Unlike the Fantastic Four’s previous onscreen adaptations, the 2025 version will be the first to be set in the MCU. 21st Century Fox owned the film rights to Marvel characters — including Deadpool, the X-Men and more — prior to Disney’s acquisition of the studio in 2019. Deadpool 3, which hits theaters in July 2024, will mark the first major crossover between the Fox and Disney universes.

The Fantastic Four characters have already been featured in the MCU, with John Krasinski making a cameo as Reed Richards in 2022’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Krasinski’s version of the hero, however, was not from the MCU’s main timeline.

Princess Kate Middleton may not have had control over when news of her cancer diagnosis was made public.

Kensington Palace reportedly rushed to release the Princess of Wales’ cancer announcement video after news of her health condition had leaked. The Daily Mail’s Ephraim Hardcastle column reported on Monday, April 1, that the palace had no choice but to rush the video’s release after being contacted about Kate’s diagnosis.

According to the outlet, whether or not the leak came from The London Clinic, where Kate underwent a January abdominal procedure, or elsewhere is unknown. Us Weekly has reached out to the palace for comment.

Kate revealed in a March 22 social media video that doctors discovered she had cancer following her abdominal surgery earlier this year. “My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy, and I’m now in the early stages of that treatment,” she explained at the time.

Just days before her diagnosis made headlines, news broke that Kate’s medical records had been the target of a security breach at The London Clinic. The Daily Mail reported at the time that hospital staffers allegedly tried to access her medical information following her January surgery.

“[There are] systems in place to monitor management of patient information and, in case of any breach, all appropriate investigatory, regulatory and disciplinary steps will be taken,” The London Clinic’s CEO, Al Russell, said in a statement to NBC News last month. “There is no place at our hospital for those who intentionally breach the trust of any of our patients or colleagues.”

Prior to Kate’s cancer announcement, fans flooded the internet with theories and speculation about the princess’ health status and whereabouts as she had not made a public appearance since December 2023. His lawyer, Aaron Dyer, slammed the raids for being a “gross overuse of military-level force” in a statement to Us Weekly on Tuesday. “There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated.”

Dyer continued: “Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way.”

At the time, TMZ reported that two of Diddy’s sons — Justin, 30, and King, 25 — were detained and later released during the raids. Diddy was reportedly prevented from flying out of a Miami airport by Homeland Security on Monday.

The musician, who is currently facing multiple sexual harassment and misconduct lawsuits, was spotted for the first time since the raids on Friday, March 29. In photos obtained by the Daily Mail, he appeared unbothered while leaving Top Golf Miami with his daughters Jessie and D’Lila, 17.

In a video statement shared via her and Prince William‘s social media accounts, Kate, 42, shared that her medical team advised that she “undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy” after her “successful” abdominal surgery in January revealed that she had cancer, the type of which she did not identify. “I’m now in the early stages of that treatment,” the Princess of Wales explained.

For the cake

• 1¼ cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tbsp cocoa powder
• ½ tsp kosher salt
• ½ tsp baking soda
• ¾ cup brown sugar
• 2 large eggs
• ½ cup canola oil
• ½ cup buttermilk
• 1/3 cup Guinness
• 1 tsp green food coloring

For the frosting

• 4 tbsp unsalted butter
• ¼ cup brown sugar
• 2 tbsp Irish whiskey
• ½ tsp kosher salt
• ½ cup powdered sugar

1. Preheat the oven to 340 degrees. Coat a standard-size loaf pan with nonstick spray.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk the flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking soda together until no lumps remain.

4. Into the egg mixture, whisk in the oil and then the buttermilk.

4. Cool the frosting to room temperature, then spread the frosting over the cooled cake.

Community premiered on NBC in 2009 and followed the antics of a study group at Greendale Community College. It ran for five seasons before being canceled in 2014, though it was ultimately picked up for one final season on the short-lived streamer Yahoo! Screen. The service shut down less than a year after Community’s final episode aired in June 2015.

Not long after the show’s conclusion, star Joel McHale teased that fans could see their hopes of a Community movie come to life down the line. “Dan Harmon has to write it, and writing a movie script takes a while,” he told HuffPostLive in June 2015. “It’s not necessarily an easy thing. When Is the ‘Community’ Movie Going to Be Released?

A release date for the Community movie has not been announced, though it is expected to premiere in 2024. Like many TV shows and films, production on the projects was delayed due to the 2023 Hollywood WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

Which ‘Community’ Cast Members Are Returning for the Movie?

At the time of the film’s announcement, McHale was revealed to be returning as Jeff Winger alongside Pudi as Abed Nadir, Alison Brie as Annie Edison, Gillian Jacobs as Britta Perry, Jim Rash as Dean Craig Pelton and Ken Jeong as Ben Chang.

Donald Glover, who played Troy Barnes, confirmed his return in a January 2024 interview with Entertainment Tonight, stating, “It’s really just a schedule thing [but] I’m in. I’m all in.” That same month, Jeong seemingly hinted that Yvette Nicole Brown, who portrayed Shirley Bennett, would also be returning while listing off cast member names on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Will Chevy Chase Appear in the ‘Community’ Movie?

Chase will likely not reprise his role as Pierce Hawthorne in the movie as his character was killed off during season 5. He exited the series in 2012 after allegedly using the N-word on set. Although he apologized at the time, Glover claimed in 2018 that the actor made several racially insensitive jokes toward him while filming.

In September 2023, Chase criticized the show for not being “funny enough” for him, telling the “WTF with Marc Maron” podcast, “I felt a bit constrained. Everybody had their bits, and I thought they were all good. It just wasn’t hard-hitting enough for me.”

What Is the Plot of the ‘Community’ Movie?

The plot of the film is currently being kept under wraps, though it will likely see the former Greendale students reunite at the community college for some funny hijinks.

However, Harmon has teased what things fans shouldn’t expect to see when the film hits Peacock, such as another one of the show’s famous paintball fights.

“You’re running around with guns in a school, which was never a good idea on TV even back then,” he remarked on a December 2022 episode of the “Six Seasons and a Podcast” podcast.

He went on to note that the movie would not follow a similar plot to the show’s last season, which saw the study group return to Greendale to help save the school.

Does the ‘Community’ Movie Have a Script?

“I was told that the script was done,” Glover told Entertainment Tonight in January 2024. “I haven’t read it yet.”

Harmon confirmed Glover’s comments in a February 2024 interview with Variety, noting, “But I will also say Donald’s sources are so unreliable because the script is always ‘almost done.’”

Teasing the film’s plot, Harmon continued: “What can I tell you about it — it’s set on the campus of Greendale Community College. I’m super excited about it, and we’re almost done.”
