Samsung has commenced rolling out its One UI 6.1 update to the likes of the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21, bringing some of its Galaxy AI magic to older phones – or at least, some AI features to certain older phones.
After debuting One UI 6.1 on the Galaxy S24 range in February, Samsung stayed true to its word and brought some of its Galaxy AI features to the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 in March and April.
Now it’s the turn of older Galaxy phones. SamMobile has reported that the One UI 6.1 update has started rolling out to older Samsung phones in its native South Korea, indicating that a wider release is likely imminent.
While the new update is arriving pretty much intact on the Galaxy S22, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy Z Flip 4, there are apparently a number of major omissions on the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Galaxy S21.
Indeed, the latter three phones are only getting Google Circle to Search. It seems the likes of Live Translation, Chat Assist, Generative Edit, and Browsing Assist will remain exclusive to flagship Samsung phones and tablets that hit the market in 2022 and later.
Samsung’s Galaxy AI feature suite is one of our favourite things about the Galaxy S24 range, arguably going even further than Google did with its own Pixel 8 range.
Sister Wives star Meri Brown has likely seen enough in her lifetime that she could curl some toes if she penned a book about before, during, and after her time on the TLC series. While she previously mentioned doing this, more recent hints suggest a book might be in the cards sometime soon.

One of the most horrific things Meri Brown had to endure was Kody saying he didn’t love her and then suggesting that he was manipulated into their marriage.
The Sister Wives fans heard him, but he might have forgotten something. Maybe it slipped his mind that he once gushed about his first wife in a public venue.
But Meri clapped back after saying that he never really loved her. Despite what he was saying now, decades after he married her, his first wife is adamant that he once loved her.

For that matter, so was Kody Brown when he penned a bestseller with his four wives. In that book, Kody recalls spending three years in a monogamous marriage with Meri before taking on other wives. And he wrote in the book – drum roll please, “I loved Meri, I was certain of it.”
He also wrote, “We were very much in love.” Today he calls it manipulation, but in the Sister Wives book, he calls it love and a special connection he felt with her.
So, if Meri decides to write that book, she could point this out to her fans. Maybe she will settle the debate on whether Kody Brown said this to keep the Sister Wives viewers’ interest. Hey, you build drama, they will come.

Meri Brown seemed to lose out to Robyn Brown in the end. Or, at least that’s what it looked like to Sister Wives viewers. She wanted to stay in her marriage, but Kody made it clear the best he could do for her was pretend.
Before “Just Jenn,” who is Meri’s best friend today, Robyn Brown played that role for Meri. But Sister Wives fans think there was more to them than meets the eye.
Was this just the convenient thing to say for the sake of the show, or were they best friends?

Apple has reported slumping iPhone sales in its second quarter 2024 earnings results, as well as a drop in overall revenue.
The American tech giant reported that demand for its iPhones has dropped 10% during the first three months of the year, with only Europe experiencing an increase. China in particular experienced a considerable 8% drop, which isn’t ideal from the world’s second largest smartphone market.
Given this disappointing smartphone performance, and Apple’s continuing reliance on iPhone sales, it’s perhaps unsurprising to learn that the company’s revenue is down 4%. They had to get by with a measly $90.8 billion (about £72.4 billion).
There are mitigating factors for this poor performance. As Apple points out, pent-up Covid demand caused a spike in last year’s figures that was never going to be replicated a year down the line.
Apple sounded a hopeful note that results would likely pick up over the coming quarter, and indeed these results are actually better than expected. Services, meanwhile, are buoyant for the company, with revenue for that sector up 14% from last year – an all-time record.
Next week Apple will launch new iPad products, with an expected major overhaul for the iPad Pro line. It’s sorely needed, because this somewhat stagnant range has seen Apple’s tablet revenue dropping 17% since last year.
Apple’s other big play for 2024 is likely to be generative AI. It’s somewhat late to the game on this one, but expect WWDC in June to focus heavily on artificial intelligence across Apple’s software platforms.
“We believe in the transformative power and promise of AI,” Apple told investors in the accompanying earnings call, “and we believe we have advantages that will differentiate us in this new era”.
Visual FA is the project I've most enjoyed in C# in recent years. But it's finished.
Not only is it finished, it's fairly polished. It slices and dices state machines, you can render them to graphs, to and from regular expressions, and analyze them in a myriad of ways. You can generate (optionally dependency free) matching code with them, or compile directly to an assembly. The matchers can stream from TextReaders or match off strings.
I have nowhere else to go with it. It has been a long time since I've truly stuck a pin in a project as "completed for the foreseeable future" but after like 5 articles and 2 tips, plus the code itself and it's associated nuget packages I have nothing left to do.
I'm glad. But I also wish there was more for me to do. I really enjoyed this project.

Young and the Restless predictions suspect Victor Newman may soon be busted for stashing Jordan Howard captive in his basement. But the question is, who will catch him and will there be a fallout on the CBS soap opera?

Currently, on Y&R, Victor Newman’s holding Jordan Howard in a cell in the basement at the Newman Ranch. Meanwhile, he’s telling his family she’s dead and her body is still missing.
He needed Jordan to help him find his granddaughter, Claire Grace Howard. But now, Claire’s home safely, and it’s still unclear what Victor’s plans are for the psycho.

She wants his original deal to be set up in France. However, it doesn’t seem the Newman family will ever be free of Jordan as long as she is alive. She’ll likely always be after revenge.
Perhaps, he will have someone dispose of her onYoung and the Restless. However, it seems inevitable that someone will discover he is holding her captive before he can figure out what to do with her.
Who Discovers Jordan on Y&R?
Young and the Restless predictions believe it’s only a short matter of time before someone busts Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). He can’t keep Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) hidden forever especially because she’s on his property.
Anyone in his family could easily go down into the basement and discover her. There’s always a chance it may be his wife Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). However, that’s unlikely because she is currently at rock bottom, fighting her alcoholism battle onYoung and the Restless.
Plus, she has her hands full with a brand-new crisis involving Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). There’s a good chance it’ll be his daughter, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), or maybe even Claire Grace Howard (Haley Erin). No doubt, they would be horrified to stumble upon Jordan.
And they would surely feel hurt that Victor lied to them leading them to believe the horrible woman is dead when she isn’t. Also, it might be Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) who finds her. Then, Victor will likely order him not to tell Victoria.
Indeed, that would cause major problems if he wants to rekindle his romance with Vikki. Of course, his family will find out eventually, and when they do, they may never forgive him.
Young and the Restless Prediction: Victor in Hot Water with His Family?
When the truth comes out onY&R and Victor is in the hot seat, he could face some serious fallout from his loved ones. Indeed, they’ll feel deceived by him and they’ll still be terrified that Jordan is a threat.
They don’t want her sent away to France, they want her in prison or dead so she can’t get anywhere near them. But Victor put them all at risk by keeping her in the family home on Young and the Restless.
Of course, he thinks he has it handled, but it’s bound to blow up in his face. Y&R is on fire right now. Tune in daily to see who finds out what Victor Newman is up to and if his family can forgive him for it on the CBS daytime drama.
